Beautiful place! I highly recommend this stay. Even better than pictured, it has all the amenities you need for the perfect "glamping" escape. Super quick access to the river and hiking trails. It would also be an amazing venue for a group gathering or retreat. Will definitely return!

This hipcamp was easy to get to and yet off the beaten path and we enjoyed exploring the secluded stretch of the yuba river that was private . Staying in the Bali hut was a fun experience felt more like glamping . The workers on the land welcomed us so kindly.

Absolutely magical! This Hipcamp strikes the perfect balance between comfort and an authentic outdoor experience. We stayed in Hut #3, a clean, serene Bali hut overlooking wildflowers, a pond, and open prairie. With screened windows and a sliding glass door, the hut felt cozy and comfortable—yet still natural and unpolished enough to keep us fully immersed in nature and connected to the outdoors. Our two dogs roamed freely and even made friends with Akhi’s sweet dog, Sheba. Akhi and his team were incredible from start to finish—warm, responsive, and genuinely committed to making our stay special. They even welcomed our late 10pm arrival with someone waiting to guide us to our hut and make sure we were settled. The land itself is breathtaking. A scenic, moderately rugged trail leads to a stunning river canyon, surrounded by untouched natural beauty. It’s a dream for hikers, runners, or anyone wanting to unplug. There’s even a zipline for dropping into a swim hole once the water warms up! What truly makes this place unforgettable is its story. Akhi once worked on this land for the previous owner. When the owner aged and had no heirs, Akhi offered to buy it. In a fairytale twist, the owner agreed and let Akhi “work off” the land. Years of dedication turned this dream into reality—and you can feel that heart and care throughout the property. Highly, highly recommend. This place is a gem that lets you feel both cared for and completely connected to nature.

Weekend Trip to Sierra Sol Camp

Really beautiful area and the kitchen is lovely. The staff and Deja were all very kind and welcoming and everything was well marked. We were unfortunately a bit disappointed when we arrived to find out the sauna, shower, and bathtubs were all out of commission. The amenities were the reason we picked this property in the first place and it would have been nice to at least get a heads up. It looked like they were doing active work on those facilities so perhaps later in the season it will be up and running and lovely, but I would check before booking if that is what you were looking forward to those things like we were.

I had my 30th birthday here and boy do I recommend it! The space was absolutely beautiful, well-detailed, relaxing, and fun. We had a yoga class on the large deck, sauna-ed and relaxed, played games on the lawn, and danced in the cathedral area! Our pizza party with Felix was fabulous (highly recommend) and communication with Deja was great- she was extremely accommodating, helpful, open and kind. We loved it and will definitely be back for more fun!

We have listings ranging from yurts to shipping containers, an old water tower converted to a vintage trailer and canvas tents. The diva den was my old music studio and the main cabin is our family cabin. This is a magical and sacred space filled with a ton of memories please come join our community and nook in the sierras and make some more. We are based in between the middle fork of the Yuba river right where it meets up with Oregon Creek. If you like a long walk it is 2.5 miles down the dirt road to Oregon Creek and the middle fork of the Yuba. Driving takes 5 to 10 mins. The other direction is the largest lake in our county Bullards Bar Reservoir and Emerald Cove Marina. We are 1 mile down Marysville Rd. from a launch called dark day. There is a trailhead at the top of overflow boat parking for a public swimming hole on the lake. On our property, we have a main house with its own private facilities such as a kitchen, shower, and bath. On the land, we have 9 total unique cabin and canvas tent structures converted into boutique-like campsites. We have an epic outdoor entertaining kitchen and patio with an outdoor pizza oven and a little dog rinse behind the outdoor shower. The bathhouse is right across the way and provides a private but shared guest shower house, tub and sink. The sauna and fenced-in dog area are near the shipping container site. The sauna has just been remodelled with a shower and bathtub right outside the sauna house. Like anywhere in the woods there is an hour at sunset when you may have mosquitoes down near the sites in the spring and some of the summers depending on the year. We have a natural spray for that or fans in the kitchen. Off the path, you may find poison oak in the thick of the woods. So please stay on the marked trails.

Nestled in the fertile Sacramento Valley (the birthplace of craft breweries), it's a real California paradise. Paddling, hiking, SUP boarding, and horseback riding are never far away.

You can't miss Lake Oroville State Recreation Area—it's the second biggest reservoir in California, after all. Get ready for boating, kayaking, and world-class bass fishing. Plus, camping at Lake Oroville gives you some serious bragging rights. Imagine being rocked to sleep by the waves on a floating campsite.

Just past Orland, Black Butte Lake Recreation Area is a quieter spot to get out on the water. Here, you can enjoy fishing, water skiing, and lakeside camping beneath sweeping buttes.

Driving into the Sierra Nevada Mountains brings you to Plumas National Forest. The sprawling woods offer wilderness tent camping and cabins. You can even hike the Pacific Crest and other national trails. Want to camp by a 410-foot waterfall? Check out the forest service's Feather Falls Campground.
