We offer six shelters and nine primitive tent sites. We are incredibly close to the various trails located across the Cuyahoga Valley. THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE YOU BOOK! 1.WE DO NOT ALLOW FIREWOOD to be brought onto Heritage Farms property due to the potential risk to our crops and according to State and Federal Regulations. Firewood bundles may be purchased when making your reservations or upon arrival at the farm. 2. No vehicles may be driven into the camping area at any time. 3. All vehicles must remain in the designated parking lots 4. Campers are responsible for carrying their gear to their campsites—we provide wheeled carts for your use. 5. Ohio Primitive Camping licensing does not allow wheeled camping on Heritage Farms property. 6. Due to Summit County Health regulations, we cannot provide water. We continue to offer camps for children and their parents and grandparents (family camps), as well as welcome adults and other groups to enjoy the vast and wild high desert nature up on this ridge. (https://wildernessinstitute.org/outdoor-programs/) There are beautiful views and access to Shaggy Peak, the southernmost tip of the Rocky Mountains and the Sangre de Cristo Mountain Range. Wander our land to enjoy various level hiking trails including a 20 minute hike to a creek and waterfall in the forest (some steep spots and creek is intermittent) or climb up Shaggy Peak (seasoned hikers only please). IMPORTANT: We are up 1.3 miles of dirt road (with 5-7+% grade in a few short stretches) and are not near public transportation so you will need your own vehicle! Be aware that the roads can be snowy, icy or muddy and rutted ( 4-wheel or All-trak recommended in certain times of year). We don’t guarantee the road will be plowed. We generally close for the season due to cold weather around Halloween and reopen just before Memorial Day. This is a non-smoking, no candle facility.

Please consider, Clayton Geneva is a primitive campground, gravel drives and left as natural as possible. This is not a sculpted campsite or a concrete campground. The primitive area is as such, gravel, grass, sand terrain accessible by a one lane gravel drive that leads over the hill and around the cliff to the riverbank. This drive is absolutely passable however is left bumpy to keep traffic at a safe speed as pedestrians also walk the drive. It is passable by any vehicle as long as the vehicle is not overloaded beyond its ability and/or has an extremely low profile. Any area that is not an actual campsite is left to nature, not manicured, trimmed or sculpted. As you’ll find all the sites are clear please don’t expect micromanaging of wild growth of our native plants in areas around the sites as we reserve those areas for the wildlife to enjoy. Please consider all the above mentioned details, primitive campsites are not for everyone and that’s ok.

Camping at Dave's Tree Farm was a very unique experience for us and we enjoyed it so much. First, you will get to enter into a big, secure property, riding through the whole area until finally reaching the cabin. The spot is amazing, situated very close to the mountain face - a beautiful view. Everything you need for camping is there. And we enjoyed sighting a big deer too. We recommend it.

We absolutely loved our stay here. From the moment we arrived, the A-frame felt warm, welcoming, and incredibly peaceful. It was the perfect place to slow down, unplug, and spend quality time together. Every detail was thoughtfully put together, and it truly felt like a special getaway. My fiance and I loved this property. It was far better than we expected. Beautiful grounds and awesome buildings made of natural materials. It felt like being in Costa Rica or something. The outdoor shower was nice too :) 100/100 would recommend.

The Secret Gardens is a beautifully planned, coordinated, and unexpected deep dive into the passion, creativity, and imagination of another all shared without words. Every turn reveals something unexpected, with a whimsical Alice in Wonderland meets modern surrealism tone. . The landscaping is incredible, and as an ecologist, one of my favorite parts was seeing how many creative, sustainable building practices were incorporated into the site. Everywhere you look, there’s evidence of Yeyen and Forbod’s wildly creative dreams, attention to detail, and impressive craftsmanship. The photos LITERALLY don’t do it justice.. I highly recommend taking this side quest, will be back for sure.

Lovely site, it was such a treat to visit! It’s clear this place has been a big labor of love. This place is perfect if you’re looking for a community glamping experience that doesn’t stray too far from a hotel feel, but not if you’re looking for a remote/secluded experience. There will be friendly campers, dogs and a lot of activity. Fire pits are regularly stocked and maintained, and there are a ton of cute little nooks and curiosities to discover. Also the communal kitchen is enormous!

1 night at Camping at Heritage Farms

The communication and expectations for our stay were clear from the start. We’d never been to this site before so it was very reassuring! We arrived and there was a clear map of the grounds with where to go. The parking is ample and there are wheelbarrows available to haul belongings. We picked a site close to the parking lot so our trek wasn’t far and we were in top of a hill so we had a lovely breeze. The fireflies were magnificent and the mosquitos were minimal. We will definitely stay here again if we’re in the area. We loved it!

1 night at Cornerstone Ranch

We enjoyed our stay in the Country Cabin. It’s located in a meadow/ field with one outhouse that the whole field of campers share. Totaling maybe 6 sites. It’s adjacent to 4 RV set ups. The cabin surprised me in how warm it kept us in a 50 degree night. The bed is a king sized and we used the extra mats. It was very comfortable. We didn’t have a chance to play corn hole or explore the ranch but it looks like a fun place to enjoy nature. We had a campfire and everyone was very respectful and quiet.

I had a wonderful stay here. I was on a week-long trip in the UP, and we had gotten tired of all the bugs haha. We were looking for a one-night oasis to escape them, and this was the perfect spot. They're very friendly and the lake is wonderful. Can't recommend it enough!
