Bridgeport Reservoir is a lake at the lower end of Bridgeport Valley in Mono County, California. Its earth-filled dam was constructed in 1923 by the Walker River Irrigation District, along the East Walker River. The campground and marina was built I-don't-know-how-long ago, but it sure is nice! About Us: Welcome to Bridgeport Reservoir Marina and Campground. Join us for the classic camping and fishing experience with unique views of the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range. Within the Toiyabe National Forest, Bridgeport Reservoir Marina and Campground is conveniently located near two distinct hot spring areas. A true angler's paradise, the Reservoir has excellent trout fishing from spring through fall and is close by to multiple rivers for incredible fly fishing. A 35 minute drive on highway 120 will take you to the Tioga Pass Gate of Yosemite National Park. This gate is a great start to several different areas inside of the park that you may want to visit beyond that gate. Off-road enthusiasts would not have enough time in one visit to explore all of the 4x4 trails, abandoned mines, and sites in the area as well as the famous trail that brings you right to the Bodie Ghost Town. Climate and Ecosystem: At 6,400 feet (1,950 meters), this high desert climate has little to moderate tree coverage and gets hot during the days and cool at night. The conditions are much like Joshua Tree National Park or Alabama Hills camping area. During your visit, you will notice many flying insects that resemble mosquitos. These Chironomid are harmless and do not bite. On the contrary, the mosquito presence is very minimal. Swimming in the lake is possible usually between April to July.

Always working on improvements! My second glamping site "The Medieval Encampment", is available for booking starting April 1st of 2025. I will have more pictures soon. In April of 2024, my long awaited 1st Glamping site was available for booking. It's been very popular! Please read the description carefully of the "Gypsy Rose Vardo", to see if it's the right fit for you. I also have 10 large camping sites available on our 33 acre property located in Northwest NJ. Sites 1 through 4 are on mowed, fairly level fields and are large enough for campers or RV's up to 30ft, or a couple of tents, and sites 5 and 6 are further back in the woods, available only for a few small tents, sites 7 through 10 are much further into the property and are only accessible with a high clearance AWD or 4WD SUV or you can park and hike your gear in. There are 3 compost toilet outhouses spread out through the property, so it's an easy walking distance from any site. Although we are only 2 1/2 miles from a main highway, the last 2 miles are on a dirt road with no houses. We are surrounded by protected land, so no neighbors and lots of wildlife, including the occasional bear, coyote or raccoon. Keep all food items secured. Because we are surrounded by protected land we are not sprayed for insects, so be safe and do tick checks often and bring the bug spray. We are 45 minutes from NYC or the Delaware Water Gap and an hour away from the NJ shore. There are horse farms nearby that offer trail rides. We are also close to the Highland and Appalachian Hiking trails. There are two reservoirs within a 20-minute drive for canoeing or kayaking. There are walking trails through our property, including a ten-minute hike on a marked trail to a small waterfall in a ravine.

I posted a picture of the entrance of my property, hopefully this will help. Hurlys Hideaway is a very nice location located approximately 2 miles from the town of Tillamook. Very close to the beach Sand Lake various Rivers for fishing kayaking swimming Etc. Approximately 4 MI from Netarts Oceanside area, Netarts Bay, Cape Mears. A very nice location to be able to access all of these activities in Tillamook County. My land is Timber, some clearings, we'll see how this goes I'm just getting started. Also, I just learned that the transient tax for Tillamook Oregon is an additional 10% and I hate to do this but I'm going to have to raise my prices $5. If you are coming from Town, I'm 2 mi. from the hospital west on hwy. 131. Look for the purple Minnesota Vikings bus shack. I also put up a hipcamp sign just up my driveway a bit. If you are coming from the south on Fraiser road, turn right when you come to hwy. 131. I'm less than a quarter mile on your left. Also a heads up lately I've had a few people that are having a hard time booking and I learned from another camper if you're staying one night you actually have to select two days it includes the day you check out I just experienced that with another camper so just a bit information I don't know if hip camp changed something or what, but if you're staying one night select two days and it'll work.

You won't believe you are still in Kansas! C2T Ranch is a working regenerative cattle ranch, with over 4 miles of Saline River running through it. Amazing 150' tall limestone cliffs rise above river and several spring fed creeks feed into the river. There is hiking galore in the canyons or on the cliffs, fishing in the rivers, or bird watching on the native prairie above the cliffs. Fossil hunters can find a variety of fossilized shells, as well as native septarian and calcite for the rockhounds. Our picturesque, secluded campground has primitive and powered campsites, plus several glamping tent, all dispersed along an amazing horseshoe bend of the Saline River, each with direct river access. We're only a 20 minute drive north of Hays, Kansas and I-70, come visit us today!

Grassy mowed area along the Sixes River on our cattle ranch and cranberry farm. We provide an outdoor shower and composting toilet shared by the 5 camp sites. The shower water is filtered water from a shallow well, but bring water to drink. This campsite lies about 1 mile from the pacific ocean at about 15 feet elevation so it will be cooler than inland camp sites. I believe we are the closest camping to the south side of the Blacklock Hiking Trails. Also next to the Cape Blanco State Airport. (call if you want to fly in and get transport to and from the campsite). Access Road is a single lane in and out (gravel, dirt, and grass). Any towed trailers need to be pulled by a 4-wheel drive or all-wheel drive vehicle to climb back out (in and out procedures for trailers will be provided) Bring a fishing pole or a kayak. Sea-run trout are in the river during the summer (no motorized vehicles allowed in the Sixes River by law. No motorized vehicles in campsite besides automobiles by rule.) - Please be accurate with the number of guests in your party. Please note about lack of signage: The "walters landing" and "92220" on airport road are the only markings to indicate our entrance. We don't want to put any "campground" signs to avoid curious trespassers into the property (we only want invited guests). Campsite Rules: 1. Enjoy. 2. No motorized vehicles besides your auto. 3. Make sure your fun doesn't detract from the fun had by other campers. 4. No illegal activity. 5. Clean up after your pet in the camp and river bank area or anywhere people will be walking or playing. 6. No unfriendly pets, even if they are on a leash. Must be safe with other children and pets and livestock.

Quiet bedroom community only 6 miles from the west entrance of Glacier National Park. Flat lot with easy access from the main highway. Trees surround all RV sites. 1 sites with 30 amp hook up, 2 sites with 50 amp hook ups and 1 site with 20amp/110v hook up .All have water hook up and there is a gray/ black water dump station on site.

Very nice piece of property with 30 amp 50 amp hook ups had a site with 20 amp hook up. There’s a tent site & they have an RV you can rent A really nice one and they are working on the mobile home; that’s on the property which is used for restroom facilities and what not right now. Beautiful piece of property highly recommend. The host were very nice as well.

I booked site unseen for the 4th of July, Fri-Mon. Easy to find before entering the town of Forks. We have a large 5th wheel and our spot was #5 which would be close to the exit. The park is very clean and the sites are not close together with plenty of trees. The park was full for the holiday with plenty of families but was quiet due to the spaciousness of the park. When we arrived I checked in at the office/gift shop. The whole weekend we could see John doing this and that and the office was open except for the 5th for the kids payday at rhe park. I didn't use the bathrooms or shower but my daughter did and she said they were great. We definitely will come back! We enjoyed our time very much.

We loved the campsite!! Surrounded by huge trees! Great walk on the site also! The bathrooms and showers were very clean. It was nice and close to the Hoh Rainforest and the beaches! We definitely would come back!

We really enjoyed our stay at thus very nice park. Our site was perfect. It was large and level and all hook ups were positioned well. It is located in a central area for visitng Olympic National Park.

Site 23 is one of our largest full hook-up RV sites, nestled in a beautiful green Pacific Northwest setting. With spacious accommodations and a peaceful, scenic atmosphere, it’s an ideal choice for guests looking to enjoy both comfort and the natural beauty of the outdoors.

Weekend Trip to Olympic Adventure Campground

Good location for exploring multiple sites in Olympic National Park, plus stocking up on supplies in Forks. My site was next to the highway and, while it did quiet down late in the night, it was loud during the day or evening. That’s fine if you go out exploring the park all day. Toilets are temporary freestanding tiny huts and the floors were wet and muddy inside. The showers are also little temporary buildings and cost $5. I did not try them. I’d recommend this place if you choose a site further away from the highway and have a fully contained rig so you don’t need a toilet or shower.

Loved the camping spot! Perfect central location for getting to the beaches, the rainforest and Port Angeles and more. The campground was beautiful and had all the necessary amenities. We loved the campground store, too! Also I like that it was close to the town of Forks, so we could get anything we forgot to pack!

the campground itself is so nice, well kept, and easy to find. there are hot showers available, a wet sink outside where you can wash dishes, outside restrooms, RV hookups, and tent sites. there is even a little campground store where you can buy cold soda, snacks, and any last minute needs for camping. canopy site 30 was nice - it had a fire pit and the canopy allowed for charging of your electronics. however, it is right next to the outside bathrooms. the ventilation in the restrooms pushes the air right out to where you’re staying. there were times where we were caught in the downwind of some unpleasant smells. but i will say, they kept the restrooms very clean. one of the workers even came over and hosed it out. the campground can’t control the odor but it’s worth noting if you have a sensitive sense of smell and are aversive to strong odors. i would personally come back but wouldn’t book canopy 30 again.
