Country Romance Tent

40 - Limestone Echo
This was such a gorgeous and peaceful campsite! It was a great spot by the river and the stars were amazing. Bathroom was a short walk. Great host, very fast to respond while we coordinated check ins and about some requests to the site. I will definitely be coming back!

Camping at Chad and Cynthia’s campsite was above our expectations. Chad and Cynthia actually referred us to Hipcamp from another platform that we contacted them on, and we have booked a few other stays on our road trip, and for that we are so grateful! We had no idea Kansas was so pretty. The campsite was spacious and we were greeted upon our arrival by Chad and an adorable (but a little stubborn) donkey! The donkey was one of the highlights of our stay… no kidding! Would recommend to anybody passing through or staying for several days. We were only passing through for 1 night and arrived around sunset, so we did not get to enjoy a hike that was recommended by Chad when we arrived…would love to stay longer. The creek was dried up due to a drought but we think that probably helped keep the mosquitos at bay. Thanks again Chad and Cynthia!

A Fabulous Place to Stay
Complete peace and silence with a canopy of stars above. My fourth time staying. If you are coming by on I-70, it is definitely worth the 15 minutes to get to.

Warm days, cool nights. Chad (host) was great and explained a lot about their operation. I’ll definitely come back for a visit since I didn’t have much opportunity to hike. Thank y’all for a peaceful stay!
