+Composting Toilet: We have a simple, rustic composting toilet for your convenience. Please be sure to read the instructions inside. We try to keep it as clean and fresh as possible, but be aware it’s a basic setup.
+Fresh Local Food: If you’re here during the season, you can purchase fresh produce directly from us or from our neighbors. Lindstrom has a local meat shop, and you can grab essentials and snacks at Rod’s Country Corner. There’s always something to make your camp meals extra special.

West of Taylors Falls. Dan bought this property with the intention of growing stone fruits (plums, peaches, apricots and
cherries) using sustainable and organic practices because health and wellness matter to them! They are still in the process of improving their property. Many of the building on the property were in poor condition, including the old barn foundation which is now one of Dan and Danielle favorite places to keep cool in the summer. After they had excavated all the debris (which took years) they were able to transform it with gardens and fire pit for all to enjoy. They love sharing what they have been blessed with! Note: Site does not have an assigned address but the driveway is next to our cabin on the North side of the Snake River in Pine City MN, NOT Rock Creek MN. The site is a vacant lot and has the better river view and experience as its a small peninsula that juts out to the river with rapids. There is a swimming area right next to the campsite or feel free to jump into the rapids if you want a rush. There is fishing right there as well, mostly large and small mouth bass.
There is parking off the road and a short walk to the campsite, just follow the sounds of the river. Small wagons are provided to help with getting gear down to the river tent site. There is a composting toilet, it uses a "separator" where #1 goes back to the earth (as it is sterile and liquid) and #2 goes into a bucket and is covered with wood chips. There is also a standing urinal for men if desired. If you would prefer to use a pit toilet there is one on the property with directions marked with a sign. It is a farther walk however, about 100 yards from the tent site and on the cabin property near the driveway. If you want something even more convenient, feel free to bring your own.
Firewood is available for sale onsite or feel free to clean up dead wood lying along the trail at no cost.
The tent site is right next to rapids on the Snake river. If you struggle sleeping to the sound of rushing water, this may not be for you!

Enjoy a peaceful escape on our private 3.5-acre lot, perfect for tent camping or RVs. The upper site includes an electric hook-up, outhouse, and a dedicated fire pit for campfires under the stars. Surrounded by woods on either side, it offers a quiet, semi-secluded spot for nature lovers.
A short trail (400 feet or a little over a football field) leads through the forest to the Snake River, where you’ll find a second fire pit with chairs, solar lighting, and a private dock that is share with just our cabin and a campsite. If you are tenting, you can tent at the river but do not drive on the trail.. The river is great for fishing, swimming, canoeing, or kayaking, and can accommodate small boats. Multiple public boat landings are located up and down the river for easy drop off and access points.
The property lines are outlined in the overview picture. Please do not go to the west of the trail to provide ample space for privacy with our neighbors. The red on the map is the camping area with electricity and outhouse. Our personal log cabin is the blue dot but there is a significant tree line in between. If we are there, we are happy to give you a tour. The blue line is the trail. The white area is our property on the river and available for tent only or to hang out for the day if you choose to camp up top. The purple area is where the goats are busy eating. Come and visit them!
While the site does not have running water, you’ll be camping right next to our family cabin, and we’re happy to help with anything you might need. We also have friendly goats on the property that guests are welcome to visit!
There’s also plenty to explore nearby. Just minutes away, Braham offers a quirky “hole-in-the-wall” bowling alley and some charming local shops. Head north to Pine City for more options, including restaurants, a larger grocery store, and additional shopping. History buffs will enjoy visiting the Snake River Fur Trading Post, a Minnesota historical site. And if you’re in the mood for a local treat, Sapsucker Farms is a nearby cidery open on weekends, often hosting live music, food trucks, and hiking trails. There are 5 State Parks within an hour drive. Ask your hosts for even more ideas—they’re happy to share local favorites!

We're also available for other events like birthday parties, intimate weddings, and group gatherings at our gazebo and/or 20ft x 40ft party tent.

Several lakes in the area provide numerous options for fishing, boating, and hiking. And nothing beats those evening country road walks while agate hunting!

Large fire pit (supply your own firewood). Recently refurbished private dock. Four-wheel trails and rental companies nearby. Short drive from the Namekagon River which is great for tubing, kayaking, canoeing, and swimming.
Due to a recent review, I am also adding here that swimming from our property is not ideal. The lake tends to be weedy during warm summers. There are places to swim nearby, so if you are booking with the sole intent of being able to swim, please be aware that this is likely not the best site for you unless you are willing to drive to a nearby beach.

2 nights at Gabeshiwin Tipi Village
I spent the best 2 nights at Gabeshiwin and looking forward to going back. This review is mostly going to be about the hosts. Kevin and Donna are amazing. I had booked a tipi and when the trip was approaching rain was in the forecast so they made last minute arrangements to keep me dry. Kevin was fast end efficient with communication and he couldn't have done more to accommodate my needs. The grounds are beautiful and so well maintained. If you take the time to look around you will find details that make your stay even more special. When the skies cleared I was able to share a bon fire with the Kevin and Donna which was the cherry on the top of my sundae for my stay!

I had such a wonderful stay with Christine! Even after severe weather interrupted part of my trip, she reached out to make sure I was okay, which I really appreciated. The campsite was clean and thoughtfully maintained, with plenty of firewood and multiple great spots for both a tent and a hammock. The kayak and life jackets were in excellent condition, and the lake was peaceful and perfect for paddling. Christine even left a thoughtful welcome note that made me feel right at home. Cute little cabin, she gives you fresh eggs and fresh baked bread along with some butter for your breakfast. One of the best stocked vrbo kitchens I have ever had. Cute pond and very few mosquitos or bugs. The sauna is nice and so are the work out machines.

Weekend Trip to Gabeshiwin Tipi Village
The tipi’s and surrounding grounds were clean and manicured. Bugs were no existent inside and outside. Deer were always walking around the grounds. The tipi canvas were hand painted with natures animals. Ample fire wood, toilet and water were located in close proximity. We would highly recommend this non electric setting.

Wow this farm has so much to offer so peaceful and all the farm animals were so fun to see and interact with. The Hill Top site is so beautiful you see most of the property. They also have bucket golf we played twice it was so much fun. Very clean restroom. If you’re looking to get away and enjoy a farm style camping you would love this location. We will definitely be back.

This was our second visit to Trego and we enjoyed it just as much as the first! Lots of space to spread out and hang up hammocks, and a nice concrete pad for the camper. The chairs and grill are always appreciated as well. We went back to Jacks to go tubing since the weather was perfect!

Easy to find, secluded but only 10 minutes to Pine City. Fabulous communication. This cabin is well stocked and adorable. The screened porch and outdoor hammock made quiet relaxation a breeze! I love birds and was able to hear, see and identify several species new to me! Matt caught small mouth bass and northern while the grandkids practiced kayaking skills. Easy access to a 1 1/2 hr kayak float down to the cabin at a nice public access. The river was gentle enough to allow paddling back upstream as well. Highly recommend a stay at either of this property's cabins.

We had a wonderful stay camping at Evergreen Oasis Farm! The property was peaceful, well-maintained, and provided the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Being able to wake up and enjoy coffee while watching the alpacas was such a unique and relaxing experience.
The hosts were friendly, welcoming, and clearly take great pride in their farm. Our son especially enjoyed the small playground, which gave him a fun place to play while we relaxed and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings. The alpacas, sheep and chickens were a highlight for the whole family—gentle, curious, and so much fun to watch and interact with.
The campsite felt private, quiet, and family-friendly, making it a great place to unwind and reconnect with nature. We left feeling refreshed and would gladly return for another stay. Highly recommend Evergreen Oasis Farm to anyone looking for a unique camping experience!

It was a great experience staying here. We have a 25 foot travel trailer and it fits perfectly on the cement landing. Very private, very quiet, and has great views. We can’t wait to return again! Our two dogs loved the private yard and room to play!

The campsite was peaceful. There was a lot of wildlife…lots of birds and frogs. We kayaked with what we think might have been muskrats, and deer walked through our campsite. A painted turtle came right into the campsite and laid eggs which was interesting to see. The hosts were friendly and responsive. We greatly appreciated the firewood and use of the kayaks.
There only downside was the walk in. Normally, we wouldn’t mind the walk, but we had a lot of rain. We keep food in the car, so both we and the food got pretty soggy. I did wish that we’d been allowed to drive further in, but respected that that was not permitted.

We enjoyed a most lovely and relaxing time at the Jubilee Homestead. The omnipresent wandering chickens joined us as we ate in our rocking chairs and as we enjoyed coffee in the morning sun after the rooster reveille. Our own wandering allowed us to great the goats, the geese, and the neighbor's bovine friends. It was quite perfect for us at this time.

Loved camping here! This place has a lot of charm! Christine and her husband were extremely friendly and offered us a tour of their farm! We camped next to the cows and sheep pasture and the roosters woke up us just in time to watch the sunrise over the lake. The donkeys were just as friendly as our hosts!
