.Our 16 acre private riverfront property is located on the Dungeness River just outside the city of Sequim in Clallam County on the Olympic Peninsula. There are just two very large campsites. Each site can accommodate two RV’s or just a bunch of tents. You will have full access to the parcel allowing you to explore or just hang out at the river. We are pet friendly. Well behaved dogs can be off leash this vacation.
The nearest towns are Sequim, Port Angeles, Port Townsend, Victoria B.C., Just minutes from Sequim you’ll find restaurants, wineries and grocery stores.
The nearest attractions are Olympic National Park, Hurricane Ridge, Olympic Discovery Trail, Ferry Dock to Victoria B.C., Lake Crescent, and Hoh Rainforest where you can enjoy activities such as: boating, fishing, wildlife viewing, winter activities, hiking, biking, etc. Also, you can ride directly from the campsite to some fabulous mountain biking trails at Dungeness Trails.
PLEASE NOTE, Both sites are equipped with an additional RV parking spot right on the river with 30 amp power and Wifi for an additional $45.00 per night. PLEASE ADD THIS AS AN EXTRA AT THE TIME OF BOOKING.

3 Secluded campsites are nestled among cedars, firs, hemlock and maples. Site 1 & 2 have a 2 Night minimum stay, Site 3 has a 1 Night minimum stay. Tents only, no vehicle camping/trailers or pets please. Community firepit has chairs, with Free firewood (‘a curated selection of site-grown firewood’ may include: cedar, fir, hemlock, cherry, madrone, etc). The nearby Tent Shelter features cold water, a picnic table, countertop for indoor/outdoor food prep and dining, along with trash cans and a camp stove. Sanican is a short walk from the tent sites.
We have lovely Woods with sculptures and artwork created from materials found on the property by our friend Pete. We also have Gardens to wander in to support your sense of peace and connection.
Safe, secure, private, scenic. Please have no more than two people and one vehicle per site. There is no electricity available in the Tent camping area.
This is NOT a party camp space. We are a place for peace and quiet where you can enjoy the woods. We are also not suitable for children (if you have tweens/teens, message us). We have too many "attractive nuisances" for young children to be safe.
You're staying on a 7 acre, mostly forested parcel, 1/4 mile from Hwy 101, mid way between Port Angeles and Sequim, WA. Some traffic hum, but not much, and it varies depending on how the wind is blowing. We're 3/4 miles East of the Deerpark entrance to Olympic Natl Park, 4.5 miles East of the Main Olympic National Park Wilderness Information Center.

Green Acre Camp is located in a semi-residential, semi-rural area of unincorporated Port Townsend, only 10-15 min drive to main restaurants, grocery stores, and attractions of downtown Port Townsend.

Enter the property on private dirt road connected to Hastings Ave and you may park anywhere in the upper field immediately on left when you enter the driveway. There is a locked shed that houses the well pump, and you can use the water spigot and hose. Water is potable lab tested.
Property is shaped like a triangle with Hastings Ave. There is tree cover along Hastings and shared driveway at bottom edge of the triangle. As you continue down the driveway a few hundred yards, you approach neighbor's fence and property line.
Main camp site is the “upper field” where there is room for parking and power/water connections. This is conveniently level with the main road and flat. There is “lower field” that is a trimmed grass field right corner next to the driveway, Finally the “back field” is large, grass field and a fire ring across the northern half of the property. The back field has an unused septic system underground, so we leave the grass and vegetation longer here to attract wildlife and preserve the infrastructure for potential future use. No vehicles allowed in back field.
In the middle of the property is a grove of pine and cedar trees with thick, native salal bushes and rhododendrons crisscrossed with paths created by humans and the local deer population.
Driveway is shared by neighboring property so wave and smile if our neighbors walk or drive out to the main road, and please be respectful of their property line and follow the local culture of 'live and let live'.

We also have the lovely Cowboy wall tent with electricity and extra plugs for charging devices, a small electric heater, larger dorm style refrigerator, Queen size bed and all the bedding, additional oversized twin bed with bedding, 2 lamps, love seat reclining sofa and side table, Bistro style table and two chairs, 2 burner hotplate with coffee and tea, plates, cups and silverware, We provide 5 gallon containers of natural snowfall derived city water at your site.
The wall tent has a separate porta potty with handwashing station.

other campsites.

ACTIVITIES
Other activities include local trails for hiking and biking, close proximity to Port Townsend, town beach and waterfront and a short drive to the Olympic National forest.
FOOD
This year, due to positive feedback, we are increasing our offering of a full course Chuckwagon dinner, two person minimum, paid for when you book your campsite. You can select from smoked pulled pork, BBQ chicken, Smoked ribs or the vegetarian selection, baked spaghetti squash stuffed with a blend of marinara, roasted zucchini, yellow squash and bell peppers, topped with parmesan cheese. Sides served with the dinner include roasted corn on the cob ( in season), potato salad, homemade Horseshoe beans, corn bread and blackberry cobbler . You provide the beverage. Guests meander over to the cook tent at about 6 pm and enjoy dinner seated around tables and chairs complete with plates, cups and silverware. Dinner is served by reservation only on Saturday nights. Dinner is $30.00 per person. 24 hour advance notice required so your food is always fresh.

THE PROPERTY
Just what is Cowboy Camp, you might ask. The traditional definition refers to sleeping outside under the stars with only a bedroll, a fire and the night sky for companions. But if you are a fan of the western genre and lifestyle, you might also know it as a place to go to hang out with like minded folks and experience the Cowboy lifestyle. This includes all people, men and women alike, as the term "Cowboy" is largely generic and not gender oriented. A taste of that lifestyle is what we are offering here at our Cowboy Camp.
HORSES
It wouldn't be Cowboy Camp without horses and they are definitely present. They can be heard whinnying at mealtimes and throughout the day as they keep in touch with each other. They are generally quiet at night. Horses are not allowed in camping areas when campers are present. No farm would be complete without chickens and ours is no exception. A few hens can generally be seen wandering around the barn searching for bugs, We do not have a rooster, so guests can sleep peacefully.
We are offering camping sites ranging from simple tent sites with fire ring, picnic table and soft sandy tent sites to small cabin type tents with beds and electricity.
As part of your cowboy camp experience you can sign up for a horsemanship lesson involving handling and grooming horses and time spent working with the horse in the round pen. (There is no actual riding such as a trail ride offered at this time, we are working on that). You can also sign up for a roping lesson. Learn to throw a loop and catch "Little blue", our roping dummy steer head.
HIKES AND BIKES
We also have games of horseshoes ( with real horseshoes) and corn hole boards. You can take a hike around the property on our trail through mature Douglas fir and majestic Western cedar forest.
A 1/4 mile walk down our quiet country gravel road will take you to the 80 acre Jefferson County Land trust forest with several beautiful trails meandering through mature uncut forest. These trails are suitable for hiking, mountain biking and horseback riding. That forest further connects to the Cappy's trail system, a network of several miles of trails that will wind around and eventually lead into Port Townsend itself if you choose to venture into town.
Or you can choose to travel via mountain bike or foot approximately one mile down the road to the DNR forest property that will lead you through more gorgeous wooded and open areas to access the Larry Scott trail, a 7.3 mile out and back firm surface multi-use trail that leads either out of town through the woods or to the north directly into Port Townsend along the scenic waterfront.
Our beautiful piece of property is comprised of almost 11 acres situated on the northeast tip of the Olympic Peninsula just outside the quaint Victorian seaport town of Port Townsend. It lies approximately 4 miles from downtown with its many art galleries, restaurants, shops, boat harbor, farmer's market and the historic Rose theater.
The farm itself is located within a section of old growth forest comprised of 100 year old Doug Firs, cedar trees and alder groves. There is an open pasture area in the center of the property, which is ringed completely by thick stands of forest, so it feels completely private. You have to look closely to see the neighboring two houses through the forest.
The horses are excluded from camping areas during your visit, and will most likely be housed on neighboring property while guests are present. No need to worry about curious horses coming into your campsite to say hello.
It is a wildlife paradise with frequent visits from local deer, bald eagles, ducks on the pond, owls nesting in the trees, and coyotes travelling through.
The frog pond is alive all night with singing. If you are a light sleeper you might consider earplugs.
We have created a walking trail through the forest around the land that is full of the sounds of life and birds. A pileated woodpecker makes its home in the back corner and two pairs of barred owls also inhabit the nearby Douglas firs. They can be heard at night calling out as they settle in for the evening.
An important note for the walking explorer, please be aware that many areas of the farm are in their natural state. This means you might encounter prickly plants such as star thistle, nettles and tansy ragwort. We are happy to identify these for you if you are unfamiliar with them. Please be aware and dress in long pants and long sleeves while hiking. There are no poisonous snakes present in this region.
We train horses here so there is a full size riding arena and training round pen. On any given day, you might see horses being trained and ridden.
MORE ABOUT THE FOOD
At the end of your day of adventures, you can opt to sign up ( when your site is booked) for a delicious feast at Cowboy Camp. Using old time traditional Dutch oven cooking techniques and slow smoking methods, meals are comprised of such items as slow cooked smoked pork shoulder or ribs, Dutch oven baked "Horseshoe Beans" ( a crowd favorite), fire roasted corn on the cob (in season) , homemade potato salad, green spinach salad, and of course dessert such as homemade blackberry cobbler or pineapple upside down cake. Vegetarian selections are also available upon request.
ADVENTURES CLOSE BY
Venturing out from the farm you can sign up to go on a whale watching excursion with Puget Sound Express out of Port Townsend. Seeing a whale is guaranteed or you get a free return trip.
Also, the Olympic National Park is only a short one hour drive to the west and the view from Hurricane Ridge is not to be missed.
Your Hosts:
Property owners Karma and Rick come with a long extensive history of experience in the horse industry and western culture. Together they share over 100 years of experience with horses, both having ridden since young children.
Karma loves sharing her knowledge of horses and horsemanship with others and has been a certified riding instructor for many years.
Rick grew up with a horse and cattle background from a young age. As a young man he competed in the rodeo sports of bareback broncs, calf roping, bull riding and team roping. He then worked as a professional farrier, horse trainer and ranch employee in Texas. He learned the art of Texas BBQ cooking while living and working on Texas ranches.
He loves to cook for others and enjoys sharing tales of the ranch life.
You can choose to be as involved as you like during your visit. You can sit quietly in the forest and just enjoy peace and quiet if you so desire. We will not bother you. Our goal is simply to provide you with a beautiful place to relax, play, and enjoy during your visit.

Our property is 17 acres of mostly unimproved land. There are open meadows, forested areas, and a trail that circles the property. Find the beginning of the wood-chip trail near the campsite and follow it through the trees. The trail comes out near the house. Enjoy the view and take care near the cliff.
The campsite is in a small open meadow surrounded by trees on three sides and with a view to the south toward the Olympic mountains. We have only one campsite. You will be very private with no other campers nearby. Electrical, water, and sewer hookups are provided.
NOTE: There are no bathroom facilities for tent campers.
SEWER HOOKUP NOTE: Sewer hookup is on the driver's side of the vehicle if you pull in forward. If you pull all the way forwards the sewer hookup will be 24' behind the front tire. There is no turnaround and you cannot drive off the front of the pad.
The hookup is raised about 2 feet off the ground to enable gravity feed. It may not work to back in and run the sewer hose on the ground to our connection.

2026 update! We welcome Tio and Rosie, our two new livestock guardian dogs, to the DunTun this year. We have also installed a perimeter fence around the back four acres but please continue to keep pets on leash for their safety and the safety of our animals.

We are expanding our farm stand, in addition to eggs you will now find seasonal produce, firewood when fires are permitted and souvenirs made by folks who live and work on our farm.
Both campsites are unimproved spots in our future silvopasture food forest. Located on the "back four" acres of our property, they're surrounded by trees and seclusion. We back to a small airport and are near a main road and you will probably hear traffic. Both campsites have trees and space protecting them from views of people or development. We improved our road in 2022 so bring your vehicle with no worries.
We're just outside of the busy part of Port Townsend and close to farms, beaches and historic sites. Go into town for festivals, restaurants and the farmer's market. Chimacum, just two miles away, has several nice restaurants, breweries and farms that offer tours. We're two miles from restaurants, hardware stores and a grocery store in Port Hadlock.
We're just 45 minutes from Olympic National Park and 2 hours to the Olympic Peninsula Coast so we're a great stop over.

At 180 acres Glendale Farm in Chimacum, in operation since 1857, is one of the largest single agricultural properties remaining in Jefferson County. The farm includes prime agricultural soils, over half a mile of East Chimacum Creek, and forested areas. The easement protects a buffer zone for salmon and wildlife habitat along the east fork of Chimacum Creek and protects the agricultural and forestry values of the property forever. Jefferson Land Trust and collaborative partners purchased the easement to Insure Glendale farm maintains agricultural practices and wildlife habitat forever! Please be aware this is a working farm with poultry, livestock, and the use of farm equipment providing a great experience for farm life.
Glendale farm experienced a devestating loss in 2022, the primary residence burned down, and since then has been going through an extensive cleanup from an extreme hoarding situation. We recommend using shoes at all times as we are still in the process of combing the grounds for glass and possible sharp objects. You can expect to see old farm equipment, some derelict Rvs, and material debris which we are raising funds to remove. Please be patient with us as we continue to improve the site with future showers, a comunal kitchen, and improved landscaping.

Each site can accommodate two RV’s or just a bunch of tents. You will have full access to the parcel allowing you to explore or just hang out at the river. We are pet friendly. Well behaved dogs can be off leash this vacation.
The nearest towns are Sequim, Port Angeles, Port Townsend, Victoria B.C., Just minutes from Sequim you’ll find restaurants, wineries and grocery stores.
The nearest attractions are Olympic National Park, Hurricane Ridge, Olympic Discovery Trail, Ferry Dock to Victoria B.C., Lake Crescent, and Hoh Rainforest where you can enjoy activities such as: boating, fishing, wildlife viewing, winter activities, hiking, biking, etc. Also, you can ride directly from the campsite to some fabulous mountain biking trails at Dungeness Trails.

3 Secluded campsites are nestled among cedars, firs, hemlock and maples. Site 1 & 2 have a 2 Night minimum stay, Site 3 has a 1 Night minimum stay. Tents only, no vehicle camping/trailers or pets please. Community firepit has chairs, with Free firewood (‘a curated selection of site-grown firewood’ may include: cedar, fir, hemlock, cherry, madrone, etc). The nearby Tent Shelter features cold water, a picnic table, countertop for indoor/outdoor food prep and dining, along with trash cans and a camp stove. Sanican is a short walk from the tent sites.
We have lovely Woods with sculptures and artwork created from materials found on the property by our friend Pete. We also have Gardens to wander in to support your sense of peace and connection.
Safe, secure, private, scenic. Please have no more than two people and one vehicle per site. There is no electricity available in the Tent camping area.
This is NOT a party camp space. We are a place for peace and quiet where you can enjoy the woods. We are also not suitable for children (if you have tweens/teens, message us). We have too many "attractive nuisances" for young children to be safe.
You're staying on a 7 acre, mostly forested parcel, 1/4 mile from Hwy 101, mid way between Port Angeles and Sequim, WA. Some traffic hum, but not much, and it varies depending on how the wind is blowing. We're 3/4 miles East of the Deerpark entrance to Olympic Natl Park, 4.5 miles East of the Main Olympic National Park Wilderness Information Center.

The entire property is rented as a single camp site, so there is maximum privacy and solitude compared to a multi-site venue like Ft Worden State Park. Green Acre Camp is located in a semi-residential, semi-rural area of unincorporated Port Townsend, only 10-15 min drive to main restaurants, grocery stores, and attractions of downtown Port Townsend.

Enter the property on private dirt road connected to Hastings Ave and you may park anywhere in the upper field immediately on left when you enter the driveway. There is a locked shed that houses the well pump, and you can use the water spigot and hose. Water is potable lab tested.
Property is shaped like a triangle with Hastings Ave. There is tree cover along Hastings and shared driveway at bottom edge of the triangle. As you continue down the driveway a few hundred yards, you approach neighbor's fence and property line.
Main camp site is the “upper field” where there is room for parking and power/water connections. This is conveniently level with the main road and flat. There is “lower field” that is a trimmed grass field right corner next to the driveway, Finally the “back field” is large, grass field and a fire ring across the northern half of the property. The back field has an unused septic system underground, so we leave the grass and vegetation longer here to attract wildlife and preserve the infrastructure for potential future use. No vehicles allowed in back field.
In the middle of the property is a grove of pine and cedar trees with thick, native salal bushes and rhododendrons crisscrossed with paths created by humans and the local deer population.
Driveway is shared by neighboring property so wave and smile if our neighbors walk or drive out to the main road, and please be respectful of their property line and follow the local culture of 'live and let live'.

We also have the lovely Cowboy wall tent with electricity and extra plugs for charging devices, a small electric heater, larger dorm style refrigerator, Queen size bed and all the bedding, additional oversized twin bed with bedding, 2 lamps, love seat reclining sofa and side table, Bistro style table and two chairs, 2 burner hotplate with coffee and tea, plates, cups and silverware, We provide 5 gallon containers of natural snowfall derived city water at your site.
The wall tent has a separate porta potty with handwashing station.

other campsites.

ACTIVITIES
Other activities include local trails for hiking and biking, close proximity to Port Townsend, town beach and waterfront and a short drive to the Olympic National forest.
FOOD
This year, due to positive feedback, we are increasing our offering of a full course Chuckwagon dinner, two person minimum, paid for when you book your campsite. You can select from smoked pulled pork, BBQ chicken, Smoked ribs or the vegetarian selection, baked spaghetti squash stuffed with a blend of marinara, roasted zucchini, yellow squash and bell peppers, topped with parmesan cheese. Sides served with the dinner include roasted corn on the cob ( in season), potato salad, homemade Horseshoe beans, corn bread and blackberry cobbler . You provide the beverage. Guests meander over to the cook tent at about 6 pm and enjoy dinner seated around tables and chairs complete with plates, cups and silverware. Dinner is served by reservation only on Saturday nights. Dinner is $30.00 per person. 24 hour advance notice required so your food is always fresh.

THE PROPERTY
Just what is Cowboy Camp, you might ask. The traditional definition refers to sleeping outside under the stars with only a bedroll, a fire and the night sky for companions. But if you are a fan of the western genre and lifestyle, you might also know it as a place to go to hang out with like minded folks and experience the Cowboy lifestyle. This includes all people, men and women alike, as the term "Cowboy" is largely generic and not gender oriented. A taste of that lifestyle is what we are offering here at our Cowboy Camp.
HORSES
It wouldn't be Cowboy Camp without horses and they are definitely present. They can be heard whinnying at mealtimes and throughout the day as they keep in touch with each other. They are generally quiet at night. Horses are not allowed in camping areas when campers are present. No farm would be complete without chickens and ours is no exception. A few hens can generally be seen wandering around the barn searching for bugs, We do not have a rooster, so guests can sleep peacefully.
We are offering camping sites ranging from simple tent sites with fire ring, picnic table and soft sandy tent sites to small cabin type tents with beds and electricity.
As part of your cowboy camp experience you can sign up for a horsemanship lesson involving handling and grooming horses and time spent working with the horse in the round pen. (There is no actual riding such as a trail ride offered at this time, we are working on that). You can also sign up for a roping lesson. Learn to throw a loop and catch "Little blue", our roping dummy steer head.
HIKES AND BIKES
We also have games of horseshoes ( with real horseshoes) and corn hole boards. You can take a hike around the property on our trail through mature Douglas fir and majestic Western cedar forest.
A 1/4 mile walk down our quiet country gravel road will take you to the 80 acre Jefferson County Land trust forest with several beautiful trails meandering through mature uncut forest. These trails are suitable for hiking, mountain biking and horseback riding. That forest further connects to the Cappy's trail system, a network of several miles of trails that will wind around and eventually lead into Port Townsend itself if you choose to venture into town.
Or you can choose to travel via mountain bike or foot approximately one mile down the road to the DNR forest property that will lead you through more gorgeous wooded and open areas to access the Larry Scott trail, a 7.3 mile out and back firm surface multi-use trail that leads either out of town through the woods or to the north directly into Port Townsend along the scenic waterfront.
Our beautiful piece of property is comprised of almost 11 acres situated on the northeast tip of the Olympic Peninsula just outside the quaint Victorian seaport town of Port Townsend. It lies approximately 4 miles from downtown with its many art galleries, restaurants, shops, boat harbor, farmer's market and the historic Rose theater.
The farm itself is located within a section of old growth forest comprised of 100 year old Doug Firs, cedar trees and alder groves. There is an open pasture area in the center of the property, which is ringed completely by thick stands of forest, so it feels completely private. You have to look closely to see the neighboring two houses through the forest.
The horses are excluded from camping areas during your visit, and will most likely be housed on neighboring property while guests are present. No need to worry about curious horses coming into your campsite to say hello.
It is a wildlife paradise with frequent visits from local deer, bald eagles, ducks on the pond, owls nesting in the trees, and coyotes travelling through.
The frog pond is alive all night with singing. If you are a light sleeper you might consider earplugs.
We have created a walking trail through the forest around the land that is full of the sounds of life and birds. A pileated woodpecker makes its home in the back corner and two pairs of barred owls also inhabit the nearby Douglas firs. They can be heard at night calling out as they settle in for the evening.
An important note for the walking explorer, please be aware that many areas of the farm are in their natural state. This means you might encounter prickly plants such as star thistle, nettles and tansy ragwort. We are happy to identify these for you if you are unfamiliar with them. Please be aware and dress in long pants and long sleeves while hiking. There are no poisonous snakes present in this region.
We train horses here so there is a full size riding arena and training round pen. On any given day, you might see horses being trained and ridden.
MORE ABOUT THE FOOD
At the end of your day of adventures, you can opt to sign up ( when your site is booked) for a delicious feast at Cowboy Camp. Using old time traditional Dutch oven cooking techniques and slow smoking methods, meals are comprised of such items as slow cooked smoked pork shoulder or ribs, Dutch oven baked "Horseshoe Beans" ( a crowd favorite), fire roasted corn on the cob (in season) , homemade potato salad, green spinach salad, and of course dessert such as homemade blackberry cobbler or pineapple upside down cake. Vegetarian selections are also available upon request.
ADVENTURES CLOSE BY
Venturing out from the farm you can sign up to go on a whale watching excursion with Puget Sound Express out of Port Townsend. Seeing a whale is guaranteed or you get a free return trip.
Also, the Olympic National Park is only a short one hour drive to the west and the view from Hurricane Ridge is not to be missed.
Your Hosts:
Property owners Karma and Rick come with a long extensive history of experience in the horse industry and western culture. Together they share over 100 years of experience with horses, both having ridden since young children.
Karma loves sharing her knowledge of horses and horsemanship with others and has been a certified riding instructor for many years.
Rick grew up with a horse and cattle background from a young age. As a young man he competed in the rodeo sports of bareback broncs, calf roping, bull riding and team roping. He then worked as a professional farrier, horse trainer and ranch employee in Texas. He learned the art of Texas BBQ cooking while living and working on Texas ranches.
He loves to cook for others and enjoys sharing tales of the ranch life.
You can choose to be as involved as you like during your visit. You can sit quietly in the forest and just enjoy peace and quiet if you so desire. We will not bother you. Our goal is simply to provide you with a beautiful place to relax, play, and enjoy during your visit.

If you love privacy, nature, wildlife, and fresh air, you will love Deer Park Mountain View RV Campsite.
Our property is 17 acres of mostly unimproved land. There are open meadows, forested areas, and a trail that circles the property. Find the beginning of the wood-chip trail near the campsite and follow it through the trees. The trail comes out near the house. Enjoy the view and take care near the cliff.
The campsite is in a small open meadow surrounded by trees on three sides and with a view to the south toward the Olympic mountains. We have only one campsite. You will be very private with no other campers nearby. Electrical, water, and sewer hookups are provided.
NOTE: There are no bathroom facilities for tent campers.
SEWER HOOKUP NOTE: Sewer hookup is on the driver's side of the vehicle if you pull in forward. If you pull all the way forwards the sewer hookup will be 24' behind the front tire. There is no turnaround and you cannot drive off the front of the pad.
The hookup is raised about 2 feet off the ground to enable gravity feed. It may not work to back in and run the sewer hose on the ground to our connection.

2026 update! We welcome Tio and Rosie, our two new livestock guardian dogs, to the DunTun this year. They are still puppies and learning their jobs so please keep all pets on leashes and away from livestock areas. Our sheep, goats and dogs are on pasture during the day, inside electric fences, so please use caution and keep your pets and kids safe. We have also installed a perimeter fence around the back four acres but please continue to keep pets on leash for their safety and the safety of our animals.
We built a new shelter for the compartment toilet for added privacy and weather protection in 2024!
We are expanding our farm stand, in addition to eggs you will now find seasonal produce, firewood when fires are permitted and souvenirs made by folks who live and work on our farm.
Both campsites are unimproved spots in our future silvopasture food forest. Located on the "back four" acres of our property, they're surrounded by trees and seclusion. We back to a small airport and are near a main road and you will probably hear traffic. Both campsites have trees and space protecting them from views of people or development. We improved our road in 2022 so bring your vehicle with no worries.
We're just outside of the busy part of Port Townsend and close to farms, beaches and historic sites. Go into town for festivals, restaurants and the farmer's market. Chimacum, just two miles away, has several nice restaurants, breweries and farms that offer tours. We're two miles from restaurants, hardware stores and a grocery store in Port Hadlock.
We're just 45 minutes from Olympic National Park and 2 hours to the Olympic Peninsula Coast so we're a great stop over.

At 180 acres Glendale Farm in Chimacum, in operation since 1857, is one of the largest single agricultural properties remaining in Jefferson County. The farm includes prime agricultural soils, over half a mile of East Chimacum Creek, and forested areas. The easement protects a buffer zone for salmon and wildlife habitat along the east fork of Chimacum Creek and protects the agricultural and forestry values of the property forever. Jefferson Land Trust and collaborative partners purchased the easement to Insure Glendale farm maintains agricultural practices and wildlife habitat forever! Please be aware this is a working farm with poultry, livestock, and the use of farm equipment providing a great experience for farm life.
Glendale farm experienced a devestating loss in 2022, the primary residence burned down, and since then has been going through an extensive cleanup from an extreme hoarding situation. We recommend using shoes at all times as we are still in the process of combing the grounds for glass and possible sharp objects. You can expect to see old farm equipment, some derelict Rvs, and material debris which we are raising funds to remove. Please be patient with us as we continue to improve the site with future showers, a comunal kitchen, and improved landscaping.
The Glendale Farm is 1/4 mile walk to and from FinnRiver Farms, where you can enjoy cider, beer, live music, delicious snacks each and every weekend! you can check out their seasonal events.

Fantastic little site! We were the only ones there and though it rained on day one it was dreamy. As other reviews state, it’s pretty tight and the “don’t hit that!” sensors went off a lot going through the gate and driving around the little loop with our Toyota van. Clean and gorgeous.

My fiance and I really liked this site, it’s hidden away in the forest with a nice river near by. The sound from the water was peaceful, but not too loud. Quiet place, you’ll rarely hear any cars driving by and we never heard any other people around us (we were the only ones on the property that night, but we never heard anyone surrounding us). Also easy to find! The instructions made it hard to miss. Simple to navigate, and the bathroom was clean and not fully of spiders, which was a pleasant surprise.

Large open meadow with nice views. We camped here in mid winter so meadow and a few of the sites were pretty wet but there were enough dry ones to choose from. Owner was very responsive. Good value!

We camped for one night and loved this little gem of land. Laurie and her sons were very welcoming and the property is so peaceful and the indoor barn area is very cozy. And we loved the adorable pigmy goats!

This was such a lovely and well taken care of campground. The little gazebo that has been built there was wonderful and the property was beautiful, with a little walking trails and a nice river right next to the campsite. There is plenty of space for pets to roam around and the campsite feels nice and secluded. We would definitely go back!

We love this place! It has the perfect ‘local’ vibe - warm, friendly, helpful, and gracious people on a beautiful working farm. There is community and privacy in a nice balance, and is perfect for our tent camping- which I like to do to save money when in the area. Even on a stormy weekend (in late October!) I was able to make it work with Seth’s help, and I was very grateful. Yes it is a work in progress, but isn’t everything in life? I feel safe and at home here when I stay. It is our second visit, and it will not be our last.

What a lovely horsecamp! Beautiful setting with peek a boo views of Mt Baker and Straits of San Juan. Hosts Bill and Anna were so friendly and easy to work with. We rode horses and really appreciated the map showing all the great trails. I would highly recommend and would love to go back!

I booked the entire site for my birthday and had a great time! The new covered area over the kitchen is excellent, and was especially nice during rainy weather. Multiple tents to choose from, a nice big fire pit, and multiple toilets for easy access. Timber and Bethany were super accommodating and helpful, will definitely be back out here again!

What a beautiful campsite! I stayed here with my girlfriend and our pup for a single, rainy night. There was plenty of flat space for our 22-foot van and a large space that was "our own," which included a fire pit and table. The forested area in the back had a path that led to a creek, which, combined with the rain, created an amazing ambience.
On the way out in the morning, we picked up some apple cider from the small "shop" at the entrance. It was delicious!
Although I think it will be many years before I'm back in the area, I'll certainly be looking to stay here again when I am.
