Weekend Trip to Sleep under the stars overlooking the mountains by babbling stream
Awesome spot!! Ample room for the dog to run around. The proximity of the river access was such a cool surprise! The weather was rather warm for November, so we could utilize the river. Super private. The wildlife/cattle are cool. Incredible stars at night. We had a bit of rain and a sort of crazy windstorm one night, but felt super secure in the structure. This is an ideal beginners “primitive” camping spot.

We loved camping at Garden of Eden! Our little girl loved the play/swing set area. It is secluded enough we felt safe. The sites are spacious and water pressure was excellent. Suzanne was an excellent host and very responsive to any needs or questions we had. We really enjoyed our trip! And will definitely be back and will recommend Garden of Eden to anyone!

We absolutely loved this campground! I can’t say enough good things!!! In a quiet country setting it’s a perfect spot for relaxing. The campground itself is beautiful and the grounds are kept exceptionally clean and mowed… the spots are all pull thru gravel and relatively level which is always a huge plus!! We do camp with small children so we love the fact that the playground area is completely visible from all sites! We enjoyed the large community fire pit as well! Overall we had the best time at Garden of Eden and will definitely be returning soon!!

We love camping at GOE! The sites are so nice- all FHU and nice clean gravel (no mud 😊)! Great land for letting your kids and dogs run to their hearts content. We love how safe and private the property is plus the fire pit overlooking the pond makes for the best evenings.

Amazing location! Beautiful, peaceful and private. Perfect sound of the water flowing over the rocks easily helped us fall asleep. We stayed at site #3 by the River. I would recommend backing down the lane. There’s no turnaround area for full size trucks. Ours is Chevrolet 2500 HD. There’s a slight hill to walk down to camp, no problem for us (maybe 15-20 ft),. Tacoma or 4Runner wouldn’t have a problem in 4WD going down the hill to level site. Our host was very accommodating. We will definitely come back!

Renee’s spot was a perfect place to spend a beautiful fall weekend! Pretty secluded at the end of a gravel road with few cars. Lots of wildlife to see, and a good spot to put in for kayaking, floating, etc. Thank you!

Lovely place to camp. Very private and peaceful with the creek nearby. Hard to beat for a small group of campers looking to have their own space. Plenty of firewood was provided, a few extra chairs, and the A frame with the deck was oh so cute! There was plenty of room for a few tents. We didn’t use the grill. The toilet was a 5 gallon Lowe’s bucket with wood chips - primitive, but gets the job done!
Not sure if this is an every night occurrence, but the cows in the nearby pasture were relatively noisy and interestingly never stopped moo-ing all night long. Wasn’t necessarily a bad thing for us (we kind of enjoyed it) but it wasn’t all that quiet.
The stars were lovely on a clear night with no moon, though the nearby farms did contribute to some light pollution (understandably) so it wasn’t quite as dark as we were hoping for.
We will definitely be back!

This was a most excellent stay in the magical river yurt! We could have had a better time. The people in the area we so friendly and there is so much to see and do.
The yurt itself was so fun to stay in. The hostess had absolutely everything that we would have needed for our stay. She thought of everything.

Weekend Trip to Magical Riverside Yurt w/hot tub
Our absolutely wonderful 10 Wedding Anniversary stay at Magical Riverside Yurt by JoDee, was the getaway we needed. Laid back, private, peaceful and amazingly well stocked with almost everything you'd ever want. The coffee bar was amazing. Sitting in the hot tub while looking at the billions of stars with the full Milky Way overhead was epic. Our first time staying in a Yurt was a pleasure. I had no idea it would be so comfortable and accommodating. JoDee has I think 5 different properties to choose from. Make sure to check out this well deserved Super Host.

Stayed on a long weekend with my partner and our two dogs and can’t overstate what an amazing space Jodee has created. It delivered everything we were initially looking for: a great space for the dogs to run around and play, a creek to wade/fish, living amenities (kitchen, bathroom, ac/heat, bed), great views, and a place to unwind (hot tub/firepit/hammock). What we didn’t expect was how much attention to detail and well curated everything was in an unassuming yurt. Everything, from the arrangements of the stones in the firepit to the hippy decor, felt so well curated and thoughtfully put together. Throughout our stay we would find more little details that really just helped us fall more in love with the place. Jodee was a great host, available for anything we may have needed while we still had all the privacy we needed.
If you’re looking for a relaxing/private outdoor space with all the amenities of an indoor space, then this is the place to be. We were absolutely enchanted by our stay and fully intend to spend another magical weekend here again.
Tip: Renting the side by side is a fun way to explore the area! A lot of hilly backroads to ride along while seeing local wild life and neighborhoods. The best part was our big dogs were able to sit in the back and enjoy the ride after playing in the creek all day.

Our time on Richies land was tranquil and fun! The A frame was perfect and offered great views of the mountains in the distance and animals in the pasture. The stream was beautiful and a welcome break from the heat. Everything you need is offered on the site! Great host, definitely recommended!

Such a cool spot to camp! Very private and peaceful. Loved sitting on the deck at night and looking at all the stars. Our dogs absolutely loved running around and playing/swimming in the creek (we enjoyed cooling off in it ourselves!). Waking up to a field of cows and horses next to us was pretty cool, too, and we even saw a calf and mini horse. Just a heads up, be prepared for lots of dirt/dust around the a-frame from the tilled-up ground - our dogs had a blast in it and brought a lot into the tent haha! Host directions and communication were great. Highly recommend this site - would definitely stay again when in the area!

1 night at Magical Riverside Yurt w/hot tub
The Yurt was amazing. Jodee was so accommodating and thought of every little detail to make things perfect! She even has fishing poles and floats and firewood! The scenery is beautiful, the hot tub was so clean and nice. The entire stay was magical. We loved all the extra special touches...bath robes were a huge hit after soaking in the big tub!! We lover every thing about it and even caught fish!!!! Will definitely be back!!!

Richie has an amazing spot! They had an airmattress on stand by (needed if for night 2 haha), wood for a fire, a few hammocks, propane grill, little river spots to wade and the incredible cows and horses to watch. the A-frame looks amazing with its porch additions. Plenty of shady spots to hide form afternoon sun. Thanks Richie!
