Camping Site - Green Acres Resort
I sleep in my SUV and there was a nice sized level place for me, but it wasn't a traditional tent camping spot with a table and a fire ring. The shower was great and the restroom recently remodeled. Eclectic place with retro camper trailers as cabins. Very quiet with big communal fire pit. Easy to get to.

Camping Site - Green Acres Resort
I loved staying at Green Acres. The bath house was very clean and had great water pressure. There was a great fire pit next to the pond. I enjoyed using the paddleboard and the little kayak on the pond. The location is quiet yet close to town.

RV Site - Green Acres Resort
This is a charming little campground with a very cute beach on a pond, and a nice bath/shower house. We got the RV spot and overall it worked fine for us, but I really did not like the red dirt that gets damp with dew and is just mucky. It really needs some gravel or a concerted effort to grow something there. Also that spot is in the afternoon sun until the sun goes down so in summer, it is hot, but with windows open, we got quite cool overnight. Be careful of ticks! We had two right away. I heard someone else grumbling about the showers having an opening to look outside (and I’m sure to help them dry out) but we lived the showers and the bathrooms. I will say that the RV spot has a view of the shower “windows” and those taking showers, a view if the RV spot. We really did like the campground overall though. Just giving info for others to be informed.

The Spartan - Green Acres Resort
Bruce is an excellent host. The camper was spotless. The bed was extremely comfortable. The showers and bath house were clean and well designed. The beach was an added bonus and the communal fire pit a great place for meeting your neighbors! We’will definitely go back.

RV Site - Green Acres Resort
Bruce was very accommodating and the camp site was great (I will warn they do not have power for either camper or tent currently) even though it states on hipcamp they do. That said Bruce did provide us with power to our campsite, pond was beautiful, bathrooms and showers were great, and everything was well maintained.

Camping Site - Green Acres Resort
Bruce is great and Green Acres is such a gem! We had the best time and can’t wait to go back. Bathrooms are super clean, showers are warm and lovely and the overall atmosphere is peaceful and inviting. I had a blast swimming in the pond and using the paddle boards. The community fire pit and grill area is really nice and was great for cooking out. It was a total 10/10!!

Daisy - Green Acres Resort
We really enjoyed our stay here! We only planned to stay here one night in the Daisy camper, but when our other camping site fell through, we wound up coming a day early and setting up in the tent site. Bruce was super welcoming and took the time to show us all of our options for camping out. The tent site was flat, comfortable, and close to the bathhouse. We loved falling asleep to the sound of frogs and crickets. :) lots of cool birds here, too! We spent the second night in the Daisy camper which was super cute and cozy. The location of Green Acres is also really nice. It’s a quick walk to downtown Floyd, and about a 35 minute drive to Fairy Stone State Park. Overall, highly recommend staying here!
