Our location gets ample sunshine most days and is surrounded on 3 sides by a forest of trees. The property is fenced and access is by gate. There are two seperate campsites which are separated by our central garden and bamboo plantings. There is very little street traffic before 9 AM and after 4 PM Mon-Sat. Sundays are quiet. Both sites can use the portable toilet and outdoor shower. We keep it clean and odor free for a sanitary camping experience. Bring your bikes, boards and outdoor gear! Many adventures to be had here on the central coast. Your hosts are avid surfers and cyclists and can help direct you to the best spots to match your skill level. The property is close to town as well as bike loops, gravel roads and trails. We're also close to the beach. Within a short drive surfers of all levels can find something fun to ride nearly everyday of summer and fall. The 18 hole golf course is just down the street from the property and the town of Waldport is 2 miles away. Yachats is a short 12 minute drive to the south where you can find amazing restaurants where they serve fresh roasted coffee along with a large menu of drinks and treats at places such as The Green Salmon Cafe. White sand beaches are located just down the hill from us where you can walk all the way from the mouth of the Alsea river to the mouth of the Yachats river. Forested and easily accessible walking trails are also nearby. South of the property is Cape Perpetua - a natural wonderland with whales, tide pools, blowholes and a 26 mile trail system. This is a large private site that is surrounded by old growth timber and teaming with flora and fauna. Beyond the adventuring that can be done on the property, Baker Beach state park is less than a half a mile away and there is a plethora of trails, parks, and lakes within 10 miles. The camp spot is a very private grassy nook nestled next to Honey Grove Creek. There are nature trails on the property with blackberry bushes. We offer farm fresh eggs, firewood bundles, and as the garden begins to ramp up- we will offer all the veggies to campers including goat cheese! We can do cash or Venmo payments. Such a beautiful piece of land right next to the Trask river. The cabin was warm and cozy when we arrived, and Carmen was so kind to leave firewood for us in the campfire! We had a wonderful time here, and are leaving full of gratitude for the hosts, the cabin, and the land itself.

Jesse's camp site was perfect for us. I was there with my dog for one night and felt super safe and the porta pottie's were literally the cleanest I've ever used....it seemed like they were brand new! It was only about 15 minutes to Pacific City. I will definitely be coming back!

Weekend Trip to Zen Garden Sanctuary Spa

These guys put the hip in #hipcamp. Jim was a wonderful and engaging host. We stayed in the caboose and the highlights were hanging out with the host and his friends, the sauna, and hot tub. If you are bringing kids maybe check with the host or Eric on the vibe before coming. It is a beautiful property and you can tell Jim has put a lot of thought, effort, and himself in the place. We hope to return, go Hoosiers!

One of my favorite cabin stays Ive ever experienced! The land is magical and the cabin was so cozy and inviting with thoughtful touches. My favorite place was the loft, waking up to the windows surrounding you with beautiful trees and rain pouring on the roof- can’t get much better. My partner and my dog and I felt very welcomed by Danny and Molly and we hope to return!
