We are closed for the season to let our land rest and, well it gets pretty soggy around here in the winter months. We'll open up in again in April but, we're taking reservations for the 2026 season...
Our one designated site, closest to the river bank we call the Riverside Site. It can be reserved for up to 4 people. It can only accommodate smaller tents, campers, pop up trailers, small pod-type trailers and larger rigs up to 15'. has a rustic firepit and your own deck for viewing the river.
For groups of 5 or more or people or camping with large 10 person tents or trailers over 20', there will be an additional fee and you will need to set up camp in our Riverwood Site, about 150' from the riverbank. You will still have full access to the deck and firepit in the other site but, larger rigs cannot maneuver in the site without tearing up the grass and leaving ruts on our property. **Please note**When you make the reservation you will add an "Extra", ADDITIONAL CAMPSITE.
We have indoor bathroom facilities for our guests in a separate apartment we have downstairs of our house. There is a small living and dining area, kitchenette with barista bar, microwave and small fridge. It is about 150' walk and is visible from the campsites but, still feels private.
We also offer our little Bunkie, the Glass House for an extra fee.
The Bunkie sleeps two comfortably. It has a nice mattress (Please bring your own sleeping bags), a comfy bench, a coat rack, remote control lights and a nice electric heater. There are curtains all around for privacy. You'll use the bathroom facilities in the apartment.
All of our guests have full access to our personal dock to get down to the water. Feel free to fish off the dock, swim, Kayak, SUP or just enjoy the evening on the dock.
Our property is about a 10 minute drive to the Ocean/Hwy 101, just south of Lincoln City. There is hiking close by and miles of coastline to explore. We are happy to help you have the best experience at the coast...Just ask!

Since 2015 I have been regenerating the soils and improving this once barren property. There is now diverse plant life on-site which attracts diverse wildlife including insects, birds and reptile. Your stay here helps us to pay the bills and keep making this small patch of earth better.
The property is on a sunny bench not far from the ocean and usually above the fog line. Our location gets ample sunshine most days and is surrounded on 3 sides by a forest of trees. The property is fenced and access is by gate. There are two seperate campsites which are separated by our central garden and bamboo plantings.
There is very little street traffic before 9 AM and after 4 PM Mon-Sat. Sundays are quiet.
Both sites can use the portable toilet and outdoor shower. We keep it clean and odor free for a sanitary camping experience. * PORTABLE TOILET NOT AVAILABLE DURING OFF-SEASON
Bring your bikes, boards and outdoor gear! Many adventures to be had here on the central coast. Your hosts are avid surfers and cyclists and can help direct you to the best spots to match your skill level. The property is close to town as well as bike loops, gravel roads and trails. We're also close to the beach. Within a short drive surfers of all levels can find something fun to ride nearly everyday of summer and fall. The 18 hole golf course is just down the street from the property and the town of Waldport is 2 miles away. Yachats is a short 12 minute drive to the south where you can find amazing restaurants where they serve fresh roasted coffee along with a large menu of drinks and treats at places such as The Green Salmon Cafe.
White sand beaches are located just down the hill from us where you can walk all the way from the mouth of the Alsea river to the mouth of the Yachats river. Forested and easily accessible walking trails are also nearby. South of the property is Cape Perpetua - a natural wonderland with whales, tide pools, blowholes and a 26 mile trail system. Enjoy the scenic 15 mile drive from the farm to get there.

Rustic tent and hammock camping on 20 private forested acres, just half a mile from the Pacific Ocean. It’s peaceful, wild, and surprisingly close to Yachats. You’ll fall asleep to ocean waves, not generators. This isn’t a tourist campground. It’s our home. We’re opening a few of our favorite spots to people who appreciate quiet, nature, and thoughtful presence.
Our campsites were built for our family, not mass use. If you like forest stillness and a touch of wildness, you’ll probably love it here. If you’re looking for drive-in glamping with full facilities, this probably isn’t your spot.
What to expect:

The beach is about a 15-minute walk, including a short stretch along Highway 101. It’s walkable but may feel exposed to some. Yachats, the 804 Trail, and Cape Perpetua are all nearby.
This land once held a WWI-era spruce logging camp. We’ve lived here since 2013, slowly transforming bramble into trails, gardens, and space to grow. Our son is a cancer survivor, and our connection to this land runs deep. We’re not a commercial farm - we’re a family practicing stewardship, slow living, and welcoming guests who do the same.

This hidden gem is only 1/3 of a mile off the highway yet all you can hear is the flow of the water from Rock Creek which flows along the 2 acres. There is plenty of spots to toss your tent. Personally, I prefer the bank overlooking the stream. Cool your feet on a hot summer day in Rock Creek (the main attraction). Enjoy the evenings around the fire pit for an extra $10/day which includes the firewood. There are complimentary tables, BBQ, chairs. We ask if the ground is wet (rain for 24+ hrs) you keep your car on the gravel driveway and not drive in the grass (causing ruts). Don't be a turd. Respect the Hideout. If you plan on partying and/or staying up late around the campfire, don't book this. I have neighbors and respect them. Go do your party booking elsewhere, please. Lastly, if you are bringing dogs, you'll most likely get a bit of barking from the dogs to the east for the 1st hour. I just want to be honest and warn you.

You will be staying in a 16ft Pacific yurt built on raised deck that has a covered deck for shade and rainy days. There is plenty of space for additional tents and RV campers to join! There is a fire pit, picnic table, full propane grill and composting toilet. There is also a wonderful warm wood stove for staying cozy! You can swim in the creek right next to the site or walk over to the North Fork of the Alsea River where there is 1/2 mile of river access and great winter steelhead fishing too.
Close to the farm is world class mountain biking, hiking, fishing, waterfalls, great views, and surfing on the Oregon coast. The camp spot is a very private grassy nook nestled next to Honey Grove Creek.
There are nature trails on the property with blackberry bushes. We offer farm fresh eggs, firewood bundles, and as the garden begins to ramp up- we will offer all the veggies to campers including goat cheese! We can do cash or Venmo payments.

Our farm is nestled at the end of Honey Grove Valley in the lush coastal mountains. The creek meanders through our seven acre property. The north side contains a field, small orchard, greenhouses and barn. The south side is steep and wooded with healthy riparian. An extension to the Honey Grove trail leads out of the property accessing a user maintained hiking/mountain biking trail with 1.5, 3, 5 and 7 mile loop options.
Other nearby activities include hiking and mountain biking in Mary's Peak and Alsea Falls recreational area. Access to the Alsea River is located 1.5 miles from the property on Honey Grove Road or at nearby Clemmons Park.
The guest cabin has two rooms and can sleep (4) guests comfortably and up to (6) guests. It contains (2) queen size beds, and one pull out couch. One bed is in a loft accessed by a ship ladder. There is a small kitchen and an un-attached bathhouse. The toilet is non-flush, composting. From the designated parking area there is a 200 foot walk along a gravel path to the cabin.
Other features include a fire pit, wood fired sauna, and creek access for cold dips. Internet is available in the cabin. There is a Level 1 vehicle charger available for guests.
The property also contains a host residence. The area around the residence is for the hosts.
The cabin and the property are very quaint and inviting but also very rustic. Do not be surprised to see a few or many spiders, slugs and other bugs. There are occasional bunnies, wild turkeys, Garter Snakes by the ponds and newts on the trails. Please maintain good situational awareness when enjoying the property as structures and grounds may have some inherent hazards.
The barn is off limits. Greenhouse and gardens are fine to explore as long as doors and gates are closed and dogs are kept out. Please refrain from harvesting produce and/or eggs unless accompanied or given permission from hosts directly.

We have a one acre lot in the city. Our 22' Tipi with access to a full bathroom (shower, sink, toilet). You may also camp in your own tent or vehicle. Get a fire going under our 20' x 30' canvas shelter and cook dinner or work on crafts (we use this space to teach bushcraft and survival skills classes). Pick plums, cherries, pears, apples and wild blackberries when in season. It's a 1 minute walk to access the best coffee shop and cafe in town. Our camp feels a little like you are in the country while being within walking distance of large city parks (Avery Park and Willamette Park), swimming holes, grocery stores and restaurants. As an urban site, you may hear street traffic on Hwy 99, although it's subtle. There is urban light from both a street light and the storage units on the North border of the property. The Tipi itself offers some barrier to these lights, however, if you want to be in a really dark location and see all the stars, this is probably not the site for you. Also, during the rainy season, the tipi isn't waterproof.
We are close to Oregon State University campus (15 min bike ride, 30 min walk) and easy access to I-5 corridor (about 15 min drive).

Green Crest is an active Memorial Park (cemetery) adjacent to Highway 18 between Portland and the Oregon coast on the South side of Sheridan. This property makes a great stop over while en route to your final destination, but is also a great getaway if you'd just like to relax in a natural setting while having conveniences near by. **if you have an rv that you are planning to back into the site, please enter via the 'exit' as it will allow better positioning to back in. otherwise use the drive marked entrance.**

Rustic tent and hammock camping on 20 private forested acres, just half a mile from the Pacific Ocean. It’s peaceful, wild, and surprisingly close to Yachats. You’ll fall asleep to ocean waves, not generators. This isn’t a tourist campground. It’s our home. We’re opening a few of our favorite spots to people who appreciate quiet, nature, and thoughtful presence.
Our campsites were built for our family, not mass use. If you like forest stillness and a touch of wildness, you’ll probably love it here. If you’re looking for drive-in glamping with full facilities, this probably isn’t your spot.
What to expect:
• Walk-in campsites (5 minutes or less from parking)
• No RVs, trailers, or car camping
• No water, power, or trash service: pack everything out
• Shared outhouse: use for bodily waste only!
• Optional outdoor shower ($10/person) by request. It's attached to our home and rustic (some love it, others skip it - or wish they’d brought a bathing suit.)
• Guided check-in required between 4–7 PM. No arrivals after 8 PM
• All communication via Hipcamp messages - no text messages
• One check-in per group. If arriving in two vehicles, coordinate timing or walk your party in
You’ll park near our greenhouse and home, where you may see chickens, a kiddo on the play structure, or hear a tractor. Campsites are deeper in the woods and often feel totally private. A seasonal creek flows nearby. Depending on the time of year, you might spot wild mushrooms, huckleberries, and more.
The beach is about a 15-minute walk, including a short stretch along Highway 101. It’s walkable but may feel exposed to some. Yachats, the 804 Trail, and Cape Perpetua are all nearby.
This land once held a WWI-era spruce logging camp. We’ve lived here since 2013, slowly transforming bramble into trails, gardens, and space to grow. Our son is a cancer survivor, and our connection to this land runs deep. We’re not a commercial farm - we’re a family practicing stewardship, slow living, and welcoming guests who do the same.
We love hosting quiet campers, nature lovers, foragers, backwoods hikers, and families who understand personal space and come prepared. If that’s you, you’ll feel right at home.

This hidden gem is only 1/3 of a mile off the highway yet all you can hear is the flow of the water from Rock Creek which flows along the 2 acres. There is plenty of spots to toss your tent. Personally, I prefer the bank overlooking the stream. Cool your feet on a hot summer day in Rock Creek (the main attraction). Enjoy the evenings around the fire pit for an extra $10/day which includes the firewood. There are complimentary tables, BBQ, chairs. Did you know the coolest porta-party in the galaxy awaits your visit? Yep, true.
Attractions: Spirit Mountain Casino is only 4 miles away, The Oregon coast is a 25 minute drive as well as plenty of vineyards. Also enjoy 100+ miles of hiking trails. The trail head is only 1 mile from camp. I'm available to answer any questions you have and look forward to your visit.
We ask if the ground is wet (rain for 24+ hrs) you keep your car on the gravel driveway and not drive in the grass (causing ruts). Don't be a turd. Respect the Hideout. If you plan on partying and/or staying up late around the campfire, don't book this. I have neighbors and respect them. Go do your party booking elsewhere, please. Lastly, if you are bringing dogs, you'll most likely get a bit of barking from the dogs to the east for the 1st hour. I just want to be honest and warn you.

A 40-acre isolated forest paradise, our property has several places to dry camp with your tent or with your trailer/RV. We are close to Falls City, the vast wilderness of the Oregon Coast Range, Valley of the Giants, and are about a 15 minute drive from the cities of Dallas and Monmouth. On our farm we grow veggies and flowers. We raise Nigerian dwarf goats, chickens, and honey bees.
You will be staying in a 16ft Pacific yurt built on raised deck that has a covered deck for shade and rainy days. There is plenty of space for additional tents and RV campers to join! There is a fire pit, picnic table, full propane grill and composting toilet. There is also a wonderful warm wood stove for staying cozy! You can swim in the creek right next to the site or walk over to the North Fork of the Alsea River where there is 1/2 mile of river access and great winter steelhead fishing too.
Close to the farm is world class mountain biking, hiking, fishing, waterfalls, great views, and surfing on the Oregon coast. The camp spot is a very private grassy nook nestled next to Honey Grove Creek.
There are nature trails on the property with blackberry bushes. We offer farm fresh eggs, firewood bundles, and as the garden begins to ramp up- we will offer all the veggies to campers including goat cheese! We can do cash or Venmo payments.

Our farm is nestled at the end of Honey Grove Valley in the lush coastal mountains. The creek meanders through our seven acre property. The north side contains a field, small orchard, greenhouses and barn. The south side is steep and wooded with healthy riparian. An extension to the Honey Grove trail leads out of the property accessing a user maintained hiking/mountain biking trail with 1.5, 3, 5 and 7 mile loop options.
Other nearby activities include hiking and mountain biking in Mary's Peak and Alsea Falls recreational area. Access to the Alsea River is located 1.5 miles from the property on Honey Grove Road or at nearby Clemmons Park.
The guest cabin has two rooms and can sleep (4) guests comfortably and up to (6) guests. It contains (2) queen size beds, and one pull out couch. One bed is in a loft accessed by a ship ladder. There is a small kitchen and an un-attached bathhouse. The toilet is non-flush, composting. From the designated parking area there is a 200 foot walk along a gravel path to the cabin.
Other features include a fire pit, wood fired sauna, and creek access for cold dips. Internet is available in the cabin. There is a Level 1 vehicle charger available for guests.
The property also contains a host residence. The area around the residence is for the hosts.
The cabin and the property are very quaint and inviting but also very rustic. Do not be surprised to see a few or many spiders, slugs and other bugs. There are occasional bunnies, wild turkeys, Garter Snakes by the ponds and newts on the trails. Please maintain good situational awareness when enjoying the property as structures and grounds may have some inherent hazards.
The barn is off limits. Greenhouse and gardens are fine to explore as long as doors and gates are closed and dogs are kept out. Please refrain from harvesting produce and/or eggs unless accompanied or given permission from hosts directly.

We have a one acre lot in the city. Our 22' Tipi with access to a full bathroom (shower, sink, toilet). You may also camp in your own tent or vehicle. Get a fire going under our 20' x 30' canvas shelter and cook dinner or work on crafts (we use this space to teach bushcraft and survival skills classes). Pick plums, cherries, pears, apples and wild blackberries when in season. It's a 1 minute walk to access the best coffee shop and cafe in town. Our camp feels a little like you are in the country while being within walking distance of large city parks (Avery Park and Willamette Park), swimming holes, grocery stores and restaurants. As an urban site, you may hear street traffic on Hwy 99, although it's subtle. There is urban light from both a street light and the storage units on the North border of the property. The Tipi itself offers some barrier to these lights, however, if you want to be in a really dark location and see all the stars, this is probably not the site for you. Also, during the rainy season, the tipi isn't waterproof.
We are close to Oregon State University campus (15 min bike ride, 30 min walk) and easy access to I-5 corridor (about 15 min drive).

Green Crest is an active Memorial Park (cemetery) adjacent to Highway 18 between Portland and the Oregon coast on the South side of Sheridan. This property makes a great stop over while en route to your final destination, but is also a great getaway if you'd just like to relax in a natural setting while having conveniences near by. **if you have an rv that you are planning to back into the site, please enter via the 'exit' as it will allow better positioning to back in. otherwise use the drive marked entrance.**
If you have young ones, the park next door has a playground and a stocked fish pond. We also have a pond on sight that is perfect for viewing birds, beaver and having morning coffee. There is the occasional Deer, coyote and raccoons all around on the property.
Two minutes from your site, you will find 24 hour gas and diesel; Subway, Riverside Cafe, Bennie Huies Chinese and the local Grocery store. Did I say there is a Dairy Queen 5 minutes way?
Nearby Ballston Road offers a great rural road system from which to explore by bicycle. Points of interest both out in the wild and more metro are all within an hour drive. We can direct you to some little known sites that offer a great day trip.

This was not our first stay at the Flying F Ranch Bunkhouse, and it absolutely won’t be our last. We’ve stayed here multiple times, and every visit somehow gets better. That alone should tell you how special this place is.
The bunkhouse is always spotless, cozy, and perfectly peaceful. There’s something about waking up to the quiet of the ranch and the rolling Oregon countryside that just resets your soul. It’s the perfect mix of rustic charm and comfort.
But what truly makes Flying F exceptional are the hosts. They are genuinely some of the most marvelous, welcoming people you’ll ever meet. Weekend Trip to Alsea Valley Farm
A lovely weekend spent listening to the rain as we fell asleep. Woke up to gorgeous views of the suspension bridge, got to take part in a sauna and cold plunge in the river, and even found some newts along the trail. An amazing stay and lovely hosts! They were very welcoming and such a cozy stay, we’ll be back for sure. :)

Bev and Brenda were so amazingly accommodating! I stayed in the cabin and loved the comfortable bed and the covered deck to sit on. There was also a propane stove to heat up my water. Needless to say, I will be back for sure to do this again. The campground is very secluded from the main home and the road, the running creek was such a beautiful noise and only about 15 paces away from my front step. My dog was with me and he was loving the space to run and play with the ball.

Nice camping spot close to the beach and lots of things to do. Close to Hwy 101, but as many other reviews point out, the waves and the flowing creek drive out most road noise. Really enjoyed my stay and would not hesitate to book, again. To note: The campsite is completely shaded and even with the sunny weekend, the campsite did not have any sun - something to keep in mind if you have solar. Again, everything is close so charging at the area beach was easy.

We loved it here! The road is steep but I was able to get my 20ft camper up no problem with a 4 runner, would be fine for smaller rigs and vans. Also the power and water are probably 40ft from the camp spot so bring a long power cord and hose. The host were great and the views were great! My wife used it for a writing retreat! We will for sure book here again!

The cabin is tidy and cozy. There are a few games to play, and space to relax. We loved hiking the trails and hanging out near the creek. We heard a great horned owl at night. The property is lovely, and there's great communication with the hosts, who are friendly, and made the stay comfortable. The composting toilet doesn't smell bad at all, and the shower is really nice, with pretty mosaic tiles. This is our second stay, and its a great place to relax and play with family. Our kid really loves sleeping in the loft. Great views all around.

The property itself is very beautiful. The cabin has a lot of charm and character and it was nice being right next to the creek with the sound of the water. Communication with the host was both great before and during our stay. They were super helpful with getting the sauna going when we reached out. The cabin was clean and it was nice to have some legit cookware including stainless steel pots and pans and a cast iron skillet as opposed to the scratched Teflon at so many places. The kitchen has the basics like salt, pepper, and cooking oil. The wood burning stove has a good draw and heats the place well. Nice dried bundles were already next to the cabin for a very reasonable cost of $5 per bundle. There is an electric heating unit in both the kitchen and the bedroom. The only caveat being that they're not suppose to run at the same time. The cabin was really lovely along with the great host so we definitely recommend staying here.

Brent & Tabitha's land is beautiful and serene, I had an amazing stay at the bunk house! I like to go out of town for New Year's Eve to get my dogs away from the fireworks and this place was exactly what I was looking for. They were so kind, showed me how to use the generator and started a fire in the wood stove for me. I definitely recommend buying some of their meat, it's very high-quality! My dogs and I had a wonderful, quiet stay here, I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to get away and unplug.
