Our farm is nestled in the Honey Grove Creek valley in the lush coastal mountains. The creek meanders through our seven acre property. The north side contains a field, small orchard, greenhouses and barn. The south side is steep and wooded with healthy riparian. An extension to the Honey Grove Trail leads out of the property accessing a user maintained hiking/mountain biking trail with 1.5, 3, 5 and 7 mile loop options.
Other nearby activities include hiking and mountain biking in Mary's Peak and Alsea Falls recreational area. Access to the Alsea River is located 2.25 miles from the property on Honey Grove Road or at nearby Clemmons Park.
The guest cabin has two rooms and can sleep (4) guests comfortably and up to (6) guests. It contains (2) queen size beds, and one pull out couch. One bed is in a loft accessed by a ship ladder. There is a small kitchen and an un-attached bathhouse. The toilet is non-flush, composting. From the designated parking area there is a 200 foot walk along a gravel path to the cabin.
Other features include a fire pit, sauna, and creek access for cold dips and kid play. Internet is available in the cabin. There is a Level 1 vehicle charger available for guests.
The property also contains a host residence. The area around the residence is for the hosts but guests are welcome with permission from the hosts.
The cabin and the property are very quaint and inviting but also very rustic. Do not be surprised to see a few (or many) spiders, slugs and other bugs. There are occasional bunnies, wild turkeys, Garter Snakes by the ponds and Newts on the trails. Please maintain good situational awareness when enjoying the property as structures and grounds may have some inherent hazards.
The barn is off limits. Greenhouse and gardens are fine to explore as long as doors and gates are closed and dogs are kept out. Please refrain from harvesting produce and/or eggs unless accompanied or given permission from hosts directly.

We have a beautiful camping spot next to a year-round creek, located in the spectacular Pacific Northwest. We’re also conveniently located for visits to Corvallis or Eugene — both within a 30-minute drive. We provide porta-potties, potable water, and a serene environment for your stay.

A wonderful stay with friends. The cabin had everything we needed, and the location provided great access to hiking and outdoor fun in the creek for the kids. We used the grill both nights, which was a nice bonus. The hosts were welcoming and kind. This is a great place to get together with friends or family. Everything was an absolute delight! The cabin was cozy, but with plenty of airflow through the windows keeping things cool. The linens were soft and warm, blackberries were ripe for the picking, and there’s no beating the views. Kim was a warm and funny host, and tasting wine at Art + Science was lovely, complete with Gerald, the farm cat.

We LOVED this campsite. It was better than camping by the ocean, which it is an easy drive from there. It was private and green. We stayed clean and fresh because the grass kept us out of the dirt. Everything about it was comfortable, the weather, the modest amount of bugs, the sounds, the bathroom, the eating/food prep area. The river was charming and refreshing. The birds sang beautifully but not while we were trying to sleep. Sleeping was very peaceful. It was quiet and dark with the Milky Way in view. There were optional lights to plug in. There was dish soap and toilet paper etc. Plenty of places to sit and plenty of space to play. We tried out the church in Eddyville on Sunday and it was really great and welcoming. Weekend Trip to Nelson Mountain Gardens
Beautiful, peaceful, private. What a gem! Highly recommended if you want to get away from people, traffic, and internet. Loved listening to the birds, wandering around the property, playing in the creek, and visiting the animals. The communal kitchen had everything we needed, and was so cozy. Hosts are great! Loved our stay and will go back during rhody season ❤️

This was the peaceful get away from the city we needed. The cabin is DARLING, had a lovely view, and Kim is a wonderful host We were very happy, none more than my dog who got to sniff and play frisbee in our private area. We would love to return ASAP.

What a gem! The yurt is very private, thoughtfully stocked, and incredibly comfortable. The sauna is stunning with its view of the forest. This was a perfect quick getaway for a quiet weekend out of the city.

Perfect spot for easy camping. Hosts are very friendly and attentive. The site is clean with more amenities than most locations. Natural water features are super close and the fishing at the lake is quite good. Kid friendly, keep pets on their leashes, and you're good to go.

This spot is magical. A cute little kitchenette, composting toilet, a creek and cots in the teepee and wall tent and plenty of space for dogs to roam around in an enclosed space. I would go back. In the morning there were some goats who were loud and the crows had a lot to say. Secluded, lushes and you're next to a quit road.

This is my third time staying here and once again it was such a lovely experience! The yurt, bathroom, and sauna are gorgeous and the host is superb. It’s a special secluded place in the trees!
