The campground is super nice! My campsite was right on Lake creek. There were plenty of amenities available should they be needed. There was also a pavilion with loads of games and a BBQ grill. Although, if you're hoping for complete darkness to see the night sky, you won't get it here. There were solar lights, a big light on a pole, and a lit up building giving off light all night. Otherwise, it was a wonderful little camp spot!

Absolutely loved our stay at campsite #7. We had the whole campground to ourselves and got to fall asleep listening to the peaceful sounds of the creek. Weather was gorgeous and so was the water - bring water shoes if you want to wade in there are lots of rocks! The communal pavilion area was stocked with a bunch of appliances and we were able to use the griddle to cook pancakes for breakfast. All in all loved our stay and the owner and his nephew were very nice. Will definitely stay here again if we’re in the area.

RIGHT ON THE RIVER! I couldnt believe it. This place was so nice and the hosts were really cool. Big open camp site with a fire pit and table just yards from waters edge. I will definitely be back for a longer stay!!!

I’ve been looking for a camp spot next to water for a very long time, and not only did I find it, it exceeded every expectation I could have. From the very first email to Brooke, to checking out Sunday morning waving bye to Tom our weekend at Creekside Retreat was incredible. The campground is stunning, beautifully maintained, and packed full of activities from board games to hiking to a waterfall. The hosts have taken their hearts and souls and embedded it into this retreat and it shows through all the details. Not only will this be my favorite spot forever, it’s the one I’ll be telling everyone about. Thank you for the best weekend away! The appreciation I have for Brooke and Tom for what they have done here is unmatched. If I could give it 10 stars I would! Thank you, thank you!!

The employees and the owner are incredibly kind and hardworking. This site is beautiful- from the creek to the lake to the birds in the trees. The accommodations make it that much more safe and cozy. Highly recommend! Thanks Brooke and Michelle and team, we are happy to have found such a gem.

This spot is quite literally on the Creekside! It was beautiful and we really appreciated the whole space. It was set up with care and craftsmanship- lots of amenities and ways to entertain yourself. We thought we would spend most of our time out on the lake but we ended up at the campground for a majority of our stay! The camp host was very attentive and we wished we could’ve stayed longer

Phenomenal campground with wonderful hosts, clean sites, fantastic composting toilets and so much water play nearby. It’s a perfect spot for lake paddling and natural rock sliding-let alone crawdad catching and wading in the stream next to our campsites. We can’t wait to go again.

The camp hosts helped us switch to campsite 10 when we got there so we could have a little more privacy. Our daughter was obsessed with the creek and swings. The amenities provided here were so nice and clean. We had such a nice time, thank you!! P.S. If you want to stay here just be aware the Hipcamp app has issues with the camp spot system they use for bookings. Please try to book directly via their website creeksidetrianglelake.com

Such a beautiful location! Green and lush wooded setting with a gorgeous creek. It is very well maintained with great amenities like clean bathrooms, showers, as well as ice and firewood available. The community space is lovely with a grill, sink, giant table and fun games to play. The owners and the hosts are friendly and attentive, always making sure that folks have what they need and are enjoying their stay. This was our second trip here and we are already looking forward to many more. I could see having many types of events here like reunions, retreats, and more! There is not a bad site on the property and I love the option to camp or glamp. Creekside Retreat is a wonderful oasis!

Super nice hosts, great common spaces…but imo way too many sites for such a small overall space. Access to lake is by personal watercraft launched within walking distance of the campground or drive to county park fyi. Beautiful setting but just too crowded for our liking. If had 8 sites with more space or privacy between would have given a great review.

This is a wonderful campground for families. The creek (great for a cool dip) runs all along one side. They have hammocks to lounge in, lots of running water, unstinky compost toilets, and a pavilion for games and phone charging. We walked up the road to the falls and down the private road to the river entrance to Triangle Lake. Bring floaties for the lake! The only downside is the road noise which sometimes starts early. If you are very sensitive to noise, it might disrupt your tent sleep unless you pack earplugs. The hosts are super friendly and helpful. Our group of mostly teens had a fantastic stay at Creekside Retreat. We hope to return soon!

Beautiful area next to a stream. A few minutes from a beautiful falls and also a short walk to a lake with private access to launch a kayak or paddle board. Hosts were always available for any needs should they arise like firewood, Ice and a warm 10 gallon shower. They bathrooms were well maintained and I had never used a composting toilet but will again. Nice people, great park, beautiful location.

We loved staying at Creekside! Everyone was super friendly and helpful. #1 had good river access and felt just private enough. The bed was comfy and we had everything we needed. The toilets were clean our entire stay and we appreciated the hand washing station.

The campsite was perfect, and the camp hosts were super helpful and awesome 😊 the camp runs right along a creek that leads onto the lake, just a short walk from plenty of swimming holes and places to launch kayaks and paddleboards and floaties. We had a great time and hope to come back soon!

What a BEAUTIFUL place!! 🌲☀️🐟 The creek is magical ✨ The compost bathrooms were SO clean with extra detail in the construction overall. Michelle and Parker welcomed us right away and are doing a fabulous job taking care of things. We loved that there was a playground there (with swings!!) as well as horseshoe and corn hole games for the adults. The owner was fabulous all the way around and I couldn’t recommend this place more!😊 Thanks for everything, Creekside! 💜

If you have a big group and kids, this campsite is probably a good fit for you. If you’re looking for a quiet and peaceful reflection in nature, this is really not the place. They have a playground set and a bunch of stuff for kids to do so they seemed like they were having fun. The people next to us were loud with yelling kids + playing music and were not asked to quiet down. The campsite even had a drum set which I’m sure is really fun for kids, but as an adult trying to enjoy the nature it was very annoying. Overall, the campsite was pretty well maintained, and the camp host was very welcoming. I think there could be more privacy between the different campsites, but the place is new. If you’ve got a big group and have kids, this is probably a great vibe for you. If you’re an adult, trying to relax this probably isn’t it.
