The Zen Den is an off-grid glamping experience in a round, wooden, cozy bungalow overlooking the rhododendron garden (max 2), and the Peace Pad tent platform, an 14 x 14 raised wooden platform ready for your tent, in a meadow next to a gently flowing creek (max 4 adults). Four permanent residences also enjoy the beauty of Nelson Mountain Gardens. Each are separate and away from the campsites. You are welcome to bring your well-behaved dog(s). Limit 2. Horses are welcome with prior approval. Please let us know when booking. There is no cell phone service in our rural area. Limited wi-fi is available in parts of the rhododendron garden and at the barn for making necessary calls (no downloading, streaming or extended video calls). A phone charging station is located in the sauna house and in the shared loft / kitchen. Parking onsite is free. Smoking or vaping anything is prohibited inside all structures on the property. Smoking anything that requires fire is prohibited except inside your vehicle or on the paved road off of the property. Vaping is ok anywhere outside.

Welcome to the 2026 Hipcamp Season. I am glad you found me. We are ready for fun season and can't wait to meet you! My camp is one of the most unique Hipcamp properties on the entire Oregon Coast.
Come and stay at my licensed Hemp farm! Since 2015 I have been regenerating the soil and improving this once barren property. I plant a large portion of the property in Hemp plants. There is now abundant plant life on-site which attracts diverse wildlife including insects, birds and reptiles. Your stay here helps us to pay the bills to keep making this small patch of earth better.
The property is on a sunny bench not far from the ocean and usually above the fog line. Our location gets ample sunshine most days and is surrounded on 3 sides by a small forest. The property is fenced and access is by gate. I offer multiple sites for camping and glamping.
All sites can use the portable toilet, shower and sink. We keep them clean, odor free and sanitized.
Bring your outdoor gear! Adventures aplenty here on the central coast. Your hosts are avid surfers, cyclists, hikers and can help direct you to the best spots to match your skill level. The property is close to town as well as bike loops, gravel roads and trails. We're also close to the beach. Within a short drive surfers of all levels can find something fun to ride nearly everyday. The 18 hole golf course is just down the street and the town of Waldport is 2 miles away. Yachats is a short 12 min drive to the south where you can find amazing restaurants like The Green Salmon Cafe where they serve fresh roasted coffee along with a large menu of drinks and treats.
White sand beaches are located just down the hill from us where you can walk all the way from the mouth of the Alsea river to the mouth of the Yachats river. Forested and easily accessible walking trails are also nearby. South of the property is Cape Perpetua - a natural wonderland with whales, tide pools, blowholes and a 26 mile trail system. Enjoy the scenic 15 mile drive from the farm to get there.

Our farm is nestled in the Honey Grove Creek valley in the lush coastal mountains. The creek meanders through our seven acre property. The north side contains a field, small orchard, greenhouses and barn. The south side is steep and wooded with healthy riparian. An extension to the Honey Grove Trail leads out of the property accessing a user maintained hiking/mountain biking trail with 1.5, 3, 5 and 7 mile loop options.
Other nearby activities include hiking and mountain biking in Mary's Peak and Alsea Falls recreational area. Access to the Alsea River is located 2.25 miles from the property on Honey Grove Road or at nearby Clemmons Park.
The guest cabin has two rooms and can sleep (4) guests comfortably and up to (6) guests. It contains (2) queen size beds, and one pull out couch. One bed is in a loft accessed by a ship ladder. There is a small kitchen and an un-attached bathhouse. The toilet is non-flush, composting. From the designated parking area there is a 200 foot walk along a gravel path to the cabin.
Other features include a fire pit, sauna, and creek access for cold dips and kid play. Internet is available in the cabin. There is a Level 1 vehicle charger available for guests.
The property also contains a host residence. The area around the residence is for the hosts but guests are welcome with permission from the hosts.
The cabin and the property are very quaint and inviting but also very rustic. Do not be surprised to see a few (or many) spiders, slugs and other bugs. There are occasional bunnies, wild turkeys, Garter Snakes by the ponds and Newts on the trails. Please maintain good situational awareness when enjoying the property as structures and grounds may have some inherent hazards.
The barn is off limits. Greenhouse and gardens are fine to explore as long as doors and gates are closed and dogs are kept out. Please refrain from harvesting produce and/or eggs unless accompanied or given permission from hosts directly.

THE SPACE The 20' Pheasant Creek Yurt is completely yours during your stay. Bathroom area in the main house may be shared.

We are located 15 miles from King Estate and other local wineries, 15 miles from the Covered Bridge Scenic Bikeway, 45 miles from Eugene, and 2 hours from the coast, the mountains, and Portland. While the location is quiet and secluded, we are still an easy 5 minutes to I-5.
Yurt door is usually left unlocked, and we have not had any security issues. Upon request, we can provide guests with a key during their stay.
Unfortunately these accommodations are not ADA-accessible at this time.
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE People from all backgrounds are welcome, but hate has no home here. Please respect our neighbors - we tend to wave to each other while in the neighborhood.
Other residents at this property include: 4 dogs (Duffy and Hamish, Leia and Suleyman), a flock of Romney sheep, 12 hens, 1 donkey (Gracie), 2 potbelly pigs (Hamlet and Pig), 3 cats (Apollo, Minerva, Zelda, and Opal), and multiple geese. Farm access is available upon instruction (proper gate security is a must!)
Unfortunately pets are not allowed at this time because of the animals.

This is a relaxing and unique place, in a forest next to a creek. In addition to the cabin w/ a loft, there's an adjacent/attached bedroom (w/ separate entrance door) and the adjacent bathhouse (w/ shower and toilet). And then there's a sauna building not too far from those buildings. Nice host. Comfy bed (we slept in the downstairs bedroom/next door). Pleasant sauna that's easy to use (has an electric heater). It was a lovely place to be in the early fall. There are some nice trails in the area. Very quiet in the cabin when the cabin heaters aren't running. (For those who are sensitive to noise, you might want ear plugs for sleeping there during heating season, as the older model heat pumps are kinda loud when they come on—at least until you get used to them.) We enjoyed our stay. Two nights was perfect for us.

Our family absolutely loved staying at Tallulah’s Whimsical Tea House! There was plenty of room to spread out, and the activities/loft area available kept my kids busy the entire time. The designated indoor and outdoor relaxation areas were both fun and comfortable. We also appreciated how private and set back from the road the house is. Having the sink available made washing hands and doing dishes very convenient, and the fresh well water was amazing, cold, and delicious!! The home was clean and beautifully lit up when we arrived, which made for a very memorable experience. Thank you for being such a great host, Tallulah!!. This spot is truly wonderful for anyone!

Weekend Trip to The Cloud
We loved staying at the space bell! Our stay was short but very cozy. We got an enthusiastic welcome from the resident pup, Chopper. He is such a sweet boy! Our shy Shiba took a day to warm up to him, but they were good buds by the time we left.
There were group bonfires each night, and some really fun communal spaces on the property. I personally loved the swing and the aerial silks setup!

Jeff’s spot was amazing, the tent has everything you need. There’s a kitchen book and bathroom in the tent that work great. The bed is a circular/modular piece and it took a minute to figure out how to be comfortable but once we figured it out we were very comfy and it fit 2 adults and 3 small dogs. The fire pit is propane only and really easy to cook on as well. The river view is beautiful and is a very peaceful area, the dogs loved it as well. Jeff was a great host and super kind and helpful with anything we needed.
