Spring is finally here and we have our property all spruced up for our campers! Our campsites are easily accessible by vehicle and we have room for tents, small trailers and camper vans too. The sites are grassy and relatively level, situated under large spruce trees. We are still in tidewater here so both sites sit above the river (about a 15' river bank at high tide). The Riverside site has a fire pit and a deck for viewing the river. The Riverwood site is away from the river bank about 100' and sits under beautiful, large spruce trees. It is a short walk from both sites to our ramp and dock to be on the river. We have indoor bathroom facilities for our guests, Yay! We have an apartment in the downstairs of our house, about 150' walk from both campsites. It has a kitchenette with a barista bar, microwave, small fridge, a small living area, private toilet and shower. (bring your own towels, soap, etc.). We also offer our little Bunkie, the Glass House for an extra fee. PLEASE NOTE.....We didn't realize how popular our Bunkie would be so to avoid double booking and disappointing our guests, we will keep you posted on the availability. The Glass House IS currently AVAILABLE these dates: AVAILABLE: April 6th - 24th April 28th - May 17th June 9th - July 3rd July 8th -July 23rd July 29 - July 31st August 23rd - 29th September 4th on into fall... The Bunkie sleeps two comfortably. It has a nice mattress (Please bring your own sleeping bags), a comfy bench, a coat rack, remote control lights and a nice electric heater. There are curtains all around for privacy. You'll use the bathroom facilities in the apartment. Bring your Kayak or SUP to explore the slow moving river (or rent ours!). Enjoy a wide variety of wildlife; migrating and resident birds, Beavers early in the morning and evenings. Our resident River Otters have been very active the past couple of years. You'll see them in the morning and evenings swimming, playing and munching on Crawdads. There are Deer although we seldom see them on our property but, they are across the river. There is a huge heard of Elk down river. Our property is about a 10 minute drive along the beautiful Siletz River to the Ocean/Hwy 101, south of Lincoln City. There is hiking close by and miles of coastline to explore. We are happy to help you have the best experience at the coast...Just ask! A little about the process and the property: Once you reserve a camp site you'll receive a welcome message with the physical address to the property and the instructions on how to navigate the property once you are here. There is a HIPCAMP sign with an arrow to direct you to the 2 camp sites. There are also "END HIPCAMP" signs on our property lines to preserve our neighbors privacy. Check-in is 2pm or later, check out is 12noon or before. To be respectful of other campers that are excited to get outdoors (and to allow us to clean the bathroom and make sure the property is ready for the next campers) we need to adhere to these times. FIRE RESTRICTIONS - There are no fire restrictions currently but, we want you to extinguish fires when you leave the property. We have bottles of water at each site to do so. Also, we provide fire extinguishers if there is an emergency grass fire. A little about the property and us: We purchased this property 10 years ago. It is about an acre total that includes where our house sits and the 3 adjacent lots where our Hipcamp sites are. The property and house had sat vacant for 3 years prior to us finding it. It was a mess, all overgrown with blackberries, moss, etc. We spent the first 3 years cleaning up the house, apartment downstairs and clearing the property so it was usable. Back in the 30's and 40's this stretch of the Siletz River was called Mack's Landing. The original house where there was a gas station and mercantile is still here just SW of here. There were small fishing cabins along about 500' of riverfront where people would come to fish. WE still run into the concrete foundations from time to time. We had only dreamed of having a place on a river...somewhere...when we came across this property. We both love the outdoors and have always loved camping with our kids. Rick is an avid fisherman/hunter while Debbie enjoys kayaking, gardening, reading and watching the river go by. Thanks for checking us out! Debbie and Rick and our two Cattledogs, Luna and PiperWe will be opening March 1, 2024 but, are taking reservations now for spring, summer and fall. The Riverwood site is away from the river bank about 100' and sits under beautiful, large Spruce trees. It has it's own firepit. Both have tables for your use. It is a short walk from both sites to our ramp and dock to be on the river. We have indoor bathroom facilities for our guests, Yay! We have an apartment in the downstairs of our house, about 150' walk from both campsites. The Glass House is currently AVAILABLE these dates: March 1st to May 24, June 1-July 3 July 9- August 5 August 14/15 August 20 into the fall ( A sneak peek into updates...We will be putting in a real mattress (still bring your own sleeping bags and pillows please) And we will be installing a much better wall mounted heater for those chilly evenings. Updating the paint inside and out. The sites: We have two nice camp sites, they are about 150' from one another. Our “Riverside” site, is closest to the river bank. You'll have your own deck for viewing the river (This is where the Glass House is located)  Our “Riverwood” site, is about 150’ inland from the river bank, under the Spruce trees. You'll have a nice grassy area by an apple tree and your own fire pit. You'll have full access to the dock to enjoy the river. Bring your Kayak or SUP to explore the slow moving river (or rent ours!).  Enjoy a wide variety of wildlife: Migrating and resident birds, Beavers in the early morning and evenings. Our resident River Otters ( a family of 6) have been very active this summer and fall. You’ll see them in the morning and evening playing and munching on Crawdads. FIRE RESTRICTIONS - There are no fire restrictions currently but we do ask you extinguish fires when you leave the property. We have bottles of water by each fire pit to do so. There are also fire extinguishers in case of emergency. A little about the property and us: We purchased this property 10 years ago. It includes 7 lots, two and a half that our house sits on, a couple of easements lots and these three lots that is bare land sitting under a beautiful stand of Spruce trees. The property and house had sat empty for about 3 years prior to us finding it and it was a mess, all overgrown with weeds and blackberry. We spent the first 3 years just bringing it back to a livable space. Back in the late 30's and 40's this stretch of the Siletz River was called Mack's Landing. The original house where there was a gas station and mercantile is still here and there were small fishing cabins along about 500' of river front. We still run into the concrete foundations from time to time. We had only dreamed of having a place on a river...somewhere... when we came across this property. We love the outdoors and have always loved camping with our kids. Rick is an avid fisherman/Hunter gatherer while Debbie enjoys kayaking, gardening, reading and watching the river go by. Riverside/Riverwood Camping
We enjoyed our time camping on Debbie's property. The weather was cooler, with some sprinkles but we had plenty of room to set up our Eurovan with a couple awnings, giving us lots of space to cook and relax. The fall foliage and peaceful Siletz were a gorgeous background to a very peaceful weekend. Having access to an indoor bathroom was also very nice.

Host wasn't there, but it was totally easy to access and everything was perfect for use. Didn't get to go into the river, but looks super amazing.

Great spot for our little trailer! Lots of tree coverage when it rains. Spent a couple days down on the dock fishing. Didn’t catch anything but we had a wonderful time trying. Will definitely be back!
