Great location, not the most isolated spot due to it being located right off the road, but the amenities and the convenience of them are fantastic. Walking up to the river roaring is a lovely feeling, unfortunately I did not have the time to do some fishing, but I know the trout were calling my name! Have to stop by again!

Great site! Right on the water, easy access to pond for kayaking. Host is very responsive. Road is close but was pretty quiet at night. We had a great time and our dogs loved swimming.

Lovely place and lovely management,super helpful. Decks overseeing the river were hightlight. We wished there was availablity. Clean updated bathrooms. If you are into fishing it might be the perfect place. We werent but still enjoyed it. There is reception so u can use ur phones( i had to use for work) . No need to buy firewood etc from outside.

This campground was a total surprise wasn’t sure what to expect when I first booked it. When I first reached out to them they couldn’t have been nicer. Showed up and everything seemed to be very well kept. New water and electric the decking was a nice touch with the gravel. The bathrooms are very well kept and clean, the owner just seemed like they couldn’t do enough for you. The campsite rest on the beautiful river full of trout. I will be returning for sure, very please.

The campsite was along the Beaver Kill river. The campsite was very well kept. Getting in and out with a 32 foot Super C was easy. The owners and campers were very friendly.

Everyone was very friendly and made you feel right at home. Rulo, the dog, is a great ambassador for the campgrounds!!

Loved this campground! No spot is too far from the river, there are amenities for the kids, and a little bandstand where they appear to show films on the weekends. I only stayed one night, but I will return for longer!

This large, private site has a beautiful view of Stumps Pond. We had a nice time kayaking and enjoying the sunset over the calm water. The host, Bonnie, was very helpful and responsive to texts. There is 50 amp electric hookup which was great for running the ac. The driveway is easy in and out for our 30 ft TT. There is some road noise but it wasn’t too bad. Highly recommend if you want a peaceful get away.

I had the perfect weekend at Butternut Grove. We stayed at site 35 which is in the grove section. There is the perfect amount of tree coverage for shade and it still gives that woodsy feel. You’re right by the river and so you can hear the noises at night which was awesome. We enjoyed lounging by the river during the day, watching the fly fishers and playing in the water. We met the owner, Paul, as well as his kids and the owners have gotta be the best part of the campground. They helped us out a ton getting settled, brought us fire wood, and offered to have us for dinner along with the other campers. Overall 10/10 experience. Can’t wait to come back

Camping at Julie's place was awesome. The site was perfect for our little camper but easily can accommodate larger ones. It had everything we needed and then some unexpected extras! The location was gravel and level with easy access in and out. Power and water were right there and the She Shed had the bathroom and sink plus a refrigerator fully stocked with drinks. There is also a deck with chairs out front of the shed which was great to get out of the sun. Julie and LJ (husband) were very accommodating and had great communication. They allow dogs off leash and out Boston terrier had loads of space for him to run around. There is a fire pit with wood next to it and lots of seating and a table. We wanted for nothing there. It was a great view and experience!

This was our first real trip in our RV. Despite it being November and chilly, we had a nice time. Kept that fire pit going all day. Appreciated being able to bring our doggies. Nice view right on the riverside. Probably even lovelier in the spring and summer.

We had a great experience on Julie’s land. The site is private enough but close to the common area (she shed and fire pit) to be really convenient. The shed with a standard toilet and sink is a big plus, it’s very nice. She had yard games available (cornhole etc) which is cool…we only stayed one night so didn’t get around to that.
Julie had a fire in the big fire pit so we joined her and a friend and didn’t bother having one at our site (but there was a nice fire ring at the site.) she had firewood available for a donation.
She brought a picnic table over when we were setting up…what service! 😊
The views are gorgeous, mountain farmland. Sunset and then in the morning fog laying in the valley. It’s dark enough for stargazing but she has some solar lights here and there so you can safely/easily walk around at night without a flashlight.
The entire property is not far from a road with local neighborhood traffic (paved country road) so we heard some cars but not bad.
Overall an easy and comfortable hipcamp stay. Julie is a friendly and helpful host.
It was a pleasure to spend the evening by the fire on her land.
