About the Property: Our unique property boasts quiet camping on a beautifully manicured MotoTrials Riding and Obstacle Play Course. 2025 marked our first year offering camping to the public, and we look forward to HipCampers joining us in our unique venue. All 4 camping sites are nestled into the Obstacle course. Trials riders and non-Trials Riders alike will find much to enjoy here. Campers unfamiliar with Trial are welcome to take advantage of a Lesson on one of our Rental Bikes, while the Obstacle Course is also super-fun on foot (for walks or runs), mountain bike, trials bicycle, or for playing with your RC toy! We have night lighting to turn on at your request, even if just to sit in the evening and enjoy the lights reflecting off the pond-We surely do! We are located on NY 38 but our traffic is not obnoxious (Log and Milk Trucks, Farm Tractors and Commuters). It is very peaceful here. Your camping can be as private, quiet and leisurely as you wish. The views and big sky are gorgeous in our corner of farm country. Our small pond (tho not suitable for fishing or swimming) provides entertainment w/ turtle sunbathing raft and lots of nature's visitors. Pets always welcome off-leash with your guidance. About the Trials Riding: Sundays are a practice day or Event day. We host 4 Mototrial Events each season (see below) and if spectating appeals, you can plan your trip to coincide. You're in for a treat if you've never seen these nimble motorcycles do their 'thing'... up, over, and around the obstacles. Events are busy and exciting, but no worries (!) trials bikes are not loud. Riders are friendly and considerate. If spectating not your thing- no worries. Non-event/non-practice days are quite laidback. If Trials riders come here for additional practice (or instruction) it's not loud or invasive, nor interferes with any camper training or play on the course. When riders are here (barring Events or Sunday Practice ), it's typically only 2-4 at once. Multiple activities co-exist nicely, as there is plenty of room for all. There are many days no one is on the course at all (!) and you may have it all to yourself or possibly with another camper. Hope to see you in our slice of heaven! We are a dog-friendly location. Off-leash is okay, as long as your dog responds reliably to recall commands and is friendly with children and small dogs. The owners have two small dogs who are occasionally off-leash. Looking to explore off-site? Ithaca: Cascadilla Meadow is located just 5 minutes from Cornell University and 10 minutes from all downtown Ithaca has to offer. Ithaca is well known for its many incredible restaurants, Farmers Market, local stores and art, theatre, wineries and breweries and of course, live music. Finger Lakes: In just 10-20 minutes from this location, you will find an abundance of waterfalls including Ithaca Falls, Buttermilk Falls and Taughannock Falls. Cayuga Lake is great for Sailing, kayaking and paddle boarding. Lake swimming is available at Myers Park in Lansing or Taughannock State Park outside of Trumansburg. Jump off a diving board into the pool at the bottom of Lower Treman Falls or hike upper Treman to Lucifer Falls, possibly the most beautiful short hike you’ll ever find. The area has hundreds of incredible hiking trails to choose from. Plus, Seneca Lake and the Finger Lakes Wine Trail are just a bit farther west! Biking: The roads of the Ellis Hollow area are popular with cyclists, while nearby Yellow Barn Forest, Hammond Hill and Shindagin Hollow are popular spots for mountain biking.  Full disclosure: Cascadilla Meadow’s RV parking is close to a moderately used local road. Tall power lines cut across this lot. We are also located the equivalent of a city block from a natural gas transfer station. We feel the benefits of solitary parking and the natural beauty of this area outweigh the small downsides of this location.

We are advertising a "RUSTIC CAMPING EXPERIENCE". This isn't the state or county owned or run site. We want you to come and be clean and considerate and have a great experience! I walked many lots over the previous several years and this pasture was perfect. This location is a work in progress. The pictures are over a few years and when you get there the hay could be high, it could have just been cut. The reviews and some pictures begin 3 years ago 3 days after we went online. I stayed with my pup and had a good night's sleep. Great location for visiting Ithica. Just needed a place to park my camper van for the night. The site is easy to find and access. Thought it is relatively close to the road and in front of the house, off the driveway, it didn't feel like it. Road was quiet after 10 and had no issue with reference to the house location. Got to meet Z and he was very welcoming. It was nice to have the electric access and despite the rainy cold weather we had, it was a nice stay. Would definitely stay again. Thanks Z for having your Hipcamp!

A very nice camp site (#2). This is located down a rural road that is a little rough. The area was quiet. Nathan stopped in after we got set up and talked to us about some local attractions, which, unfortunately, we were not able to visit. There definitely will be a next time. Very easy access to the site with large gravel drives and pads.

1 night at Little Spring Haven

This was a great spot!! Nathan and his family were so wonderful. Google sent us to the wrong spot and Nathan was very quick to answer the phone and direct us to the campsite. A wonderful spot on a quiet road that goes right to the lake. Very level site with electric hookups, picnic table and fire pit. Pitcher pump on the property was a bonus. We had the full moon the night we were there and it was amazing. Unfortunately, we were only there for one night and we had a problem with our dogs so we didn't get to explore as much as we would have liked. We will definitely be back.

2 nights at Zbarn Home At Last (RV w/30 amp)

My boyfriend and I recently converted a shuttle bus into our home on wheels. This was our maiden voyage and it could not have gone any better. Z’s land was the perfect first step for our trip. Easy to find, peaceful, and close by the state parks which was a plus. We stayed here for 2 nights as we explored the area. Wifi was great. Very convenient to have electrical and water hook up. Level spot too. Z was super responsive and an excellent host. We greatly enjoyed our stay. Thank you Z!

Weekend Trip to Little Spring Haven

Amazing peace and serenity! Located on a lake access road with very few lake homes made for very little traffic. Far enough from city lights made for awesome star gazing. No hunting down firewood. Nathan has wood available with easy access and super fair price. Perfect location for us, as it is easy access to many wineries, and a few distilleries and craft breweries. Short drive to Walkins Glen for great scenic hiking with waterfalls in a nice town. Road bikes and enjoyed the challenging rolling hills. Peaceful with only two very large sites, both immaculately maintained, with nothing else near them. Cute little creek and a large open field behind the site. We always appreciate sites with level pads, and the pads are nice and wide for for our 35 ft 5th wheel. Always a bonus, as many private campgrounds struggle, but the electric hook up is well done and checked out perfect with my tester. We had no issues camp not having water or dump station. Coming from the North, we utilized a free station at an RV dealership nearby. Amazing spot to get away from society, yet still be able to do things life offers!

Nice, clean small camp ground that was very relaxing and quiet. Nice sized sites. Perfect place to get away from city lights and noise but near all the Finger Lakes fun and adventure.

3 nights at Zbarn Home At Last (RV w/30 amp)

We stayed at Zbarn for three nights while we explored the wineries and nearby parks. It was perfect for a self-contained camper van, as it had electric and great internet. A 25 foot 30A cord with adapters for a surge suppressor will reach if you park close enough, but he also provides a 15A extension cord. There is a mowed strip of utility right-of way in back for walking the dog off-leash. If you want to dump your holding tank and get a hot shower (or a hike and a swim), a day pass at Watkins Glen SP is $10. Insider tip if you are there to re-stock wine: go to Northside Wine in Ithaca for advice on wineries to try. They know their stuff and confirmed some of our favorites and ‘meh’ places to skip. There are 150 wineries in the region, and they know them well.
