Lovely creek wraps around boundary of property with medium growth trees. This RV site can fit up to a 28’ vehicle (longer up to 32' can work, but corner backing in is a little tight; contact to discuss before booking). Site is next to stream, bounded on opposite side by local road (so there is local traffic through the trees). There's a 30 amp electric hookup on site, but no sewer hookup. Water can be filled on property if needed. Location is just five minutes to Lower Treman Park or Buttermilk Park, with amazing hiking trails, seasonal stream fishing and swimming. Ten minute drive to Ithaca proper.NO WATER NOV - MARCH, but site is still available. This is a simple RV spot (up to 26’) by the creek, located at the front of this 9 acre property. Easy to access for a short or longer stay. Electricity including 30 amp hookup for your A/C. Water hookup/fill at site. No septic hookup, but you can empty your tanks for a $9 fee at the local park less than 10 minutes away. Spool camp table, fire pit bowl. Local car traffic on other side of creek through trees. WIFI NOW AVAILABLE AT SITE. Five minute drive to Buttermilk Falls or Lower Treman Park for swimming (in season) and hiking. Not a remote site, but clean and convenient for your Ithaca area visit. The site was a gravel offshoot of the owner’s drive by a stream. There was a fire pit and a table. I didn’t meet the owner in person, we were both busy, but communicated with him through the Hipcamp text. He seem personable and caring. I would use this site again.

Thoughtful Owner, Private Spot!

What a wonderful spot! Ivan put down gravel at quite an expense to make the site well-suited for even the rain: we had little mud, the surface was solid for the RV, and overall the experience was great even through it rained the whole time. If it had been dirt: oh boy would it have been challenging. And 30 amp service--wonderful! Ivan was so thoughtful! We didn't get to meet Ivan being away on his own trip, yet he communicated with us via text to make sure we didn't need anything, and that we had some local-area interests for our visit. He clearly put expense and care into the spot (a challenging spot too!) and was concerned that we had everything we needed. Above and beyond! The spot was private, being over the bank from the house and the RV was in-between the house and our campfire area: we had the area to ourselves. The road was nearby, but there are thick trees and bushes in-between the camp spot and the road. We slept well, even outside we didn't even notice the road noise. We have a 25 ft Class C RV and quite easily backed into the spot--our towed Jeep Gladiator was parked in front of the RV. You should check this spot out for a night or two!

The site looks exactly like the pictures. It's a very basic gravel site, no frills but not boondocking, and was exactly what we needed. Ivan was very attentive. The only thing I could even possibly criticize was that the electric pole was too far away to hookup to 30 amp with a 30' cord. Ivan did however have an extension cord available for 15 amp service. If you're looking to stay near Ithaca, this site is does just the job!

It was a simple but private gravel spot for my camper. Electric and water included. It's served my purpose perfectly. Z, the host was attentive and kind!

Had a relaxing long weekend at Zbarn. “Z” was a excellent host, helped us get set up and provided lots of information about things to do in the area. Our first time out in our new camper and overall had a great time.

Site was just as described. Water and electric hook up provided. Very quiet and easy to get to. Close to all Ithaca activities and hiking. “Z” was a great host. He made me aware of happenings in the area (concert at an Orchard nearby). And was easy to communicate with. Nothing fancy but all you need!! Would go again. Nice to be the only camper there.

Ivan was a delightful host. The site is only 10 minutes from everything you could want to see in downtown Ithaca and 5-10 mins away from amazing sites like Ithaca falls, R treman state park and Buttermilk falls. I loved that we’re were the only campers there and would go again next time in a heart beat.
