Hillside Haven offers a peaceful camping experience with ample space and clean facilities. Most campers appreciate the friendly hosts, well-maintained grounds, and the convenience of nearby nature trails. However, internet connectivity can be spotty, so it’s best to plan ahead if you need to stay connected. Despite occasional issues with site assignments, guests consistently enjoy the quiet, scenic environment and plan to return.

Just returned from a weekend at Hillside Haven. We were very happy with our stay. The pull-through site was easily accessible, level, and electric and h2o hookups were conveniently located. Bathrooms were clean and the shower water was hot! Can’t ask for anything more. Owner very easy to reach and responsive. We’ll be back!

Ample space with a pit and a table, clean bathrooms, nice shower and friendly owners, price was right. Very close to shur save which has everything you could need for camping and a gas station beside with the best prices around. I recommend getting all the info you need before getting down there, I had very little signal on the grounds. I recommend earplugs if you're sensitive to noise as the coyotes and cows can be heard at night, but thats to be expected for this area :) I like how remote things felt while staying there

It was okay
We booked a site that we choose and all was good. However, the day before our reservation we were notified that the sure we choose was not available anymore and we're switched to a different. I'm all honesty, it wasn't a bad site. The switch would have been a real bummer if we had chosen the first site for a specific reason and we didn't get it. That seemed to work fine. Just not a good feeling at first. He campgrounds were well. Manicured and it was a nice, quiet place to be with friendly people. The hookups were exactly as described. The second thing that was concerning was the very frequent drop of Wi-Fi connectivity. My wife needed Wi-Fi for work and had to go other places to get it. And when I asked them about connectivity they didn't respond until a couple hours before we were leaving. We had no other issues except it was really a good time. Beautiful land and set up nicely. A very easy to drive a truck and trailer in the campground and back up to our site. So I would recommend to a friend. However, just make sure you have internet somehow via star link or whatever.
