We stayed here for two nights while exploring Ithaca and all of the nearby waterfalls, and it was the perfect place for our trip. It was close enough to town to make everything easy, but also just a short drive from some amazing waterfall trails. If you're planning to spend a couple of days exploring the area, I'd definitely recommend staying here. We especially enjoyed relaxing by the fire pit in the evenings, and it was a really thoughtful touch that our firewood was already covered for us when we arrived.

I had a good time at this Hipcamp and would definitely recommend. I stayed in the RV spot which was closest to the inn. There was a little bit more activity, but nothing that felt bothersome at all. They do have some wifi and I was able to use my hotspot to worked. I loved the trails off of the property and was able to take a couple of nice hikes.
My wife, dog, and I all thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Cocoon! It was a cute little cabin with a nice grassy yard area and nature trail for our dog to enjoy. It’s the perfect place to stay if you’re planning a visit to Buttermilk Falls State Park, as it’s only a short walk from the cabin! Overall, I highly recommend staying here and would happily visit again myself.
Kelli's tiny house oasis is a true hidden gem! It's rare to find a lodging option with the comforts of heat/mattress/indoor space at such a great price. And that's not even the sweetest part, which is the plot of wild-growth-lined walking paths right outside the door. Also a very convenient location less than 10 min drive to town. Thank you Kelli!

Such a cute place!! And loved making a collage. I loved how good the price was, I’ll bring my own bedding and pee in a bucket for that! And I got a bunch of her home made goodies added on they are awesome!!

This was a really nice mostly private space super conveniently located just a few minutes from Ithaca. The ground was level for our van and there was no check in process, we just pulled right into our spot when we arrived. It’s walking distance from Buttermilk Falls Park and we bought firewood from Kelli’s neighbor just up the street. Would stay again!

Location was great! A little close to the road but it was quiet enough at night. No where to build a fire on our site glad we didn’t buy wood. Other than that great spot! Cidery down the road is amazing. Buttermilk falls is just down the hill and Ithaca was a short drive!

Sarah was an excellent host ! We had a lot of privacy and space to spread out our camp site for 4 nights. Her site is a 5 minute walk down the street to Buttermilk state park which has tons of swimming and hiking available. Easy car ride to Enfield state park, finger lakes, Watkins glen and the Ithaca town! We were able to do so much! We even discovered a cider spot 2 minute drive up the road with live music.
There are no bathrooms but buttermilk, enfield state park had showers and for more urgent matters Walmart got the job done!

Great spot in an amazing part of the world! Kelli was super easy to communicate with and has created a magical space out of her property. I loved the little signs hidden around the nature path and the berries were delicious.

The Cocoon Villa was a wonderful place to stay. I loved the trails on the property and how close it was to Buttermilk Falls. My favorite part was all the lightning bugs at night and sleeping with the doors open.

Kelli's place was peaceful and inviting, surrounded by meadowlands and woods, and just a short walk away from a state park. A really ideal spot for a retreat or as a jump-off point for enjoying Ithaca.
Such a great place! Nice, cozy tent site and so close to Ithaca and Buttermilk Falls State Park. Nice to have the portable fire pit.
Very nice space to camp for the evening. Felt safe and comfortable. My dog loved it as well.

Nice place, great for a relaxing weekend in the outdoors!
What a perfect camp site for what our weekend plans were - attending a wedding and visiting friends on the lake. The site was very conveniently located and easy to access. We didn’t see another person all weekend so had much privacy. The night was the best - so quiet and dark, the lighting bugs were our favorite part. I would definitely stay here again :) thank you Kelli

This is my second stay at Kelli's Villa Cocoon. Once again I loved the cozy feel. It's tranquil and safe. Kelli added to the charm by placing some fresh beautiful Japanese Meadowsweet flowers on the table when I got there. It's always a wonderful stay. Thank you again Kelli.

I returned. Once again Kelli's little cocoon was perfect for my needs. I liked that it was set off from the main road which provided a lot of privacy.
The cocoon is a dream, rustic and cozy. It has two French style doors that open up into the grassy area with a fire pit near by. I loved lying on the double sized bed (which is very comfortable, a real bed) in the evening with the doors wide open.
Kelli outfitted the cocoon with so many nice touches: books on wellness, art supplies, a fan, a mirror case on the wall with the essential oils and tea in it. It even has some of the artwork that previous guests created and left behind as legacy.
The thing I liked most about this site is that it offers just enough glamp (electricity, a real bed, and full shelter) to make one feel comfortable, and at the same time it offered challenges that satisfied the adventurer in me. I liked little wash area behind the cocoon. It was humble, and even more rustic than the cocoon, yet very well serviced and clean. And once again I loved the thoughtful touches (hand towel, soap, water in a jug, and even a non flushing toilet that satisfies the need to sit down while you do your business.
Although it does offer a shower outside, Kelli let me set up my own portable shower with pop tent near the cocoon.
Lastly, the price is remarkable. After looking at several other locations here on Hipcamp that offer similar accommodations, The Villa Cocoon is the best for its value. I would love to return here one day.

Had a great stay in this little space. Happened to be there for some chilly spring days and nights but the space warmed up quickly with the heater and the bed was very cozy! It’s a beautiful area with a little trail and the falls close by. Everything I needed for a few days stay, and Kelli was an awesome host.
Kelli’s villa cocoon was sweet and simple. I felt comfortable and safe in the space, and enjoyed hearing the birds and wandering through her property. It’s so close to beautiful nature trails at Buttermilk, and a short drive into downtown! Would recommend, would stay again :-)
