This is an active farm and there will be the occasional tractors that drive by, farmers out in the field at times, and bird bangers are put in the vineyard in mid August to mid September. They only go off periodically between 9:30am and dusk to accommodate guests peaceful mornings. Please exercise caution & respect while on the property with regards to the weather, wildlife, and farmers/neighbours. Hot Days / Hot Nights - For your comfort, plug in the Dyson fan to cool down, or unzip the tent to maximize airflow. We had an amazing stay at the cozy cabin! The beach was just 5 minutes away, making it perfectly convenient for watching sunrise and sunsets. Traveling with our 14-month-old, we felt completely safe and comfortable and the space was very baby-friendly. Gisele and Vik were thoughtful and welcoming hosts, making sure we had everything we needed. We made so many wonderful memories as a family and would love to come back again!

Gisele and Vic were wonderful hosts. The cabin was cute, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The beach, just a two-minute walk away, was absolutely beautiful. The kayaks are fun and the perfect way to get out on the water. The firewood bundle was amazing—packed with plenty of wood, kindling, and paper, making it the best value you’ll find. The area is peaceful and quiet, yet close to lots of nearby attractions. A perfect getaway spot!

So lovely! Amber, husband and all staff were incredible, welcoming and hospitable. We loved staying right with the animals and enjoyed exploring and interacting with the animals independently as well as being invited to feed the animals apples & even bottle feed the babies (I assume we got lucky and this isn't always an offer). The living space is also wonderful. Comfortable, clean and stocked with all that you need. Would recommend this to anyone and stay again anytime!

Pro: - nice host - electricity as well as full fridge. - Porta potty was a flush type so the smell was minimal - watch water skiing from front of cabin and there is nice shade there in the evening - there is a full screen sitting area with lawn furniture. great for keeping bugs off. - Fairly quiet site as long as water ski was not taking place - you can drive up to the Cabin - The pond is very close to main road to go into town. About 20min away from costo and bass pro shop. Con: -Fridge doors opened towards the wall making fridge access extremely limited - Cabin is tiny. when the couch is pulled out into a bed there is maybe 4 spots you can stand. - Cabin is "roughing it" I would have brought a cleaner and wipes to give it a quick wipe down before use. - No walking trails on property - Porta potty is a little ways away so be prepared to walk if you need the bathroom. - There is no latch on the Cabin door. either you lock it from the inside or the outside. it makes it hard if one person wants to nap in the afternoon.

We were provided a nice location to set up our tent, and the views are stunning. My toddler was mesmerized by the animal on the side, which we adored. We received great assistance and were given a pail of water. Taryn's was also kind enough to let us stay longer. If you want a quiet and private camp, it was a nice experience.

Like most folks who’ve been bitten by the water ski bug, I dreamed of having my own lake and when I met my life partner Harald, an elite slalom skier, my search began in earnest. By a combination of good timing and good luck, I was able to make that dream come true and in the spring of 2014 I acquired this land with the hopes of building my dream water ski lake on it. 7 years later, we have a thriving water ski club and are constantly making improvements to the site. We now have decided to add some sites for rent to share this incredible property with others outside the water ski community. Site #1 is a small cabin that sleeps 3 and site #2 is a small houseboat that has been converted to a bunkie. Onsite activities include use of a canoe and paddleboard. Use of a kid's swingset and olympic trampoline. Swimming and fishing. Pets are welcome, campfires are permitted.

Come stay next to the beach! This beautiful rustic cabin sits on a treed lot with privacy. The cabin includes a double Murphy bed, we supply all bedding. A Cot is available for a third person. The cabin is air-conditioned, has a small sitting area, fridge, Keurig coffee machine, and heater for the cooler nights in the fall. Firewood available. Washroom facilities include a hot shower ( bring your towels) and composting toilet within steps of the cabin. There is a propane BBQ and a Gazebo. There is a beach and a public park a couple minute walk from the cabin. There is a 100 km bike trail within a 5-minute bike ride from the cabin. There is a pond on-site that has fish in it. You will hear the bullfrogs and cicadas in the evening. Wake up to the stunning sunrises and fall asleep to sunsets over the fields.
