Pro:
- nice host
- electricity as well as full fridge.
- Porta potty was a flush type so the smell was minimal
- watch water skiing from front of cabin and there is nice shade there in the evening
- there is a full screen sitting area with lawn furniture. great for keeping bugs off.
- Fairly quiet site as long as water ski was not taking place
- you can drive up to the Cabin
- The pond is very close to main road to go into town. About 20min away from costo and bass pro shop.
Con:
-Fridge doors opened towards the wall making fridge access extremely limited
- Cabin is tiny. when the couch is pulled out into a bed there is maybe 4 spots you can stand.
- Cabin is "roughing it" I would have brought a cleaner and wipes to give it a quick wipe down before use.
- No walking trails on property
- Porta potty is a little ways away so be prepared to walk if you need the bathroom.
- There is no latch on the Cabin door. either you lock it from the inside or the outside. it makes it hard if one person wants to nap in the afternoon.

Wonderful houseboat retreat!
This is a perfect spot for a peaceful getaway. The view is absolutely stunning --sitting by the water in the morning or evening is pure joy. 🌅✨
The houseboat itself is very clean, cozy, and thoughtfully arranged. It has everything you need: fridge, freezer, stove,light, dishes, and A/C. A frying pan and at least one blanket would be nice additions, but overall, the space is well-equipped.
The outside area is just as lovely — quiet, private, and ideal for enjoying coffee or relaxing by the fire🥰
The sofa looks so nice, but unfortunately, it’s very uncomfortable for sleeping--even though we brought extra mattress
Overall, this place has a special charm. Great views, privacy, and thoughtful touches --we will definitely come back again! 💛

My husband and I stayed here for a long weekend and we absolutely loved it!!! If you want to get away somewhere where you don't see many people, this is the place to go! Although they waterside, it was quite quiet. We brought a 2 person floatie and sat in the water with that while watching the boat go by. We would 100% stay here again. Only criticism is that the porta potty is a trek away and the bbq was quite dirty so we didn't use it. We loved it there and the host was very quick to reply to my messages. I recommend this place 100%!!!

Little Houseboat
T's Pond was the perfect place for us to stop on our trip to Niagara Falls! We enjoyed our time there and had fun swimming and watching a few skiiers on the lake. I did what a few other Hipcampers recommended and put our sleeping pad for tent camping on the pull-out couch. It was super comfortable that way. The only concerns I had was that the fridge and toaster oven weren't cleaned out from previous Hipcampers. Also, make sure any food you put in the fridge is in sealed containers! Everything I had in sealed containers was fine, but anything outside of sealed containers ended up with a really weird taste and had to be thrown out.
Overall I would say it was a good experience and I'd be happy to go back :)

We really enjoyed our time at the little houseboat. The site is really private and had everything we needed. We enjoyed sitting by the fire, using the BBQ, the paddleboard and generally just chilling out by the water. The houseboat itself is lovely and cozy.
Teresa is an excellent host and was available to answer and questions we had.
Overall it's a great way to spend some time by the water and get out of the city. Would highly recommend.

Its a nice private place , nice and peaceful!
Down fall was the ticks, there was ALOT! I know its nature but im talking double digits and it go-to much when we found in the bed.
Again nice, quiet place but the ticks are alot.
Im having to de tick my dog, car , laundry and stuff and I found them everywhere.

What a very peaceful spot, very private. The views are absolutely amazing. Being entertained by the water sking, Didn't get to meet the host, as we checked in alittle later. but would like to thank Teresa for this beautiful experience, in the little houseboat. Would definitely book this spot again. Next time for a longer stay.

Amazing stay! The house boat is very private assuming you’re ok was the occasional ski boat passing by. Amazing place for a pooch that loves the water. Well priced. Hope to return!

We stayed the 9th-12th! And I must say it was a wonderful time we live in the falls and wanted to go somewhere close but felt like we were far , stayed in the bunkie and it was honestly everything we needed. The fenced in gazebo was a huge bonus met the host she was a charm and even got to see her waterski ! The paddleboard was a fun time and the gentleman using his boat was very respectful and willing to share the pond while we used it ! Everything was clean and accessible , I ended up forgetting my fannypack with my id and wallet in it and Theresa and her husband were more then happy to help me find it and get it back safely to me which I am forever grateful , will definitely be back

This was our second stay at T’s Pond and again a very peaceful spot at the little houseboat. If you are looking for a very private getaway this would be the place!!!

My partner and I have a trailer at a water ski resort so we didn’t mind the water skiing, it was entertaining to watch. We stayed at the little house boat, the very last one on the property which was VERY private!! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Theresa is a great host and very responsive and was very quick to address any concerns we had. We brought our memory foam mattress topper after reading some reviews that the pull out sofa was uncomfortable. We also brought tarps just as you would if you went camping and we were glad we did!! It rained on Friday night so we put a tarp up in the gazebo and over our fire so we could still enjoy the out doors. Swimming was great, however the dock had seen better days, but that didn’t stop us and we really didn’t mind. We were in and out of the water quite often as were both our dogs. The waves that the water skiers provided was great entertainment for our 2 yr old pup that loves to chase the waves!!!
I would recommend bringing cookware if you plan on cooking over the fire. There is a bbq on site and also 2 burners inside for cooking. It is also air conditioned which is a huge bonus!!
The spot is amazing with a beautiful view!! We will definitely be coming back!!

Great little getaway! The water skiing was busy on the weekend but much quieter on weekdays. The bunkie had everything you needed (cutlery, fridge, hot plate, AC!!!)The bathroom was a bit of a trek from the site though. They also have a trampoline and little park on site free to use. Super close to town which was nice (groceries, Tims, shoppers). Overall, had a blast!

For the price, you cannot beat it so close to Niagara Falls, beautiful pond and entertaining to watch the water skiers. For those who complained.. This Bunkie is not pristine and perfect and clean true and there are bugs. But that is part of having a Bunkie that is not a finished cabin that seals the outdoors. It is meant to be a step up from a tent.
In the evenings, the Bunkie Becomes fairly private. As this is personally owned land, be advised that children may pass by the area frequently so judge your activities accordingly.
The host was very friendly and responsive. We really enjoyed our stay and will be definitely back again.
If I were to make a suggestion, it would be to have a washroom or a port-a potty closer to that side of the pond.

The porta potty is too dirty to use & the location is far & scary to walk outside at night coz it’s too dark. You can not swim or use the lake if someone else is skiing. The pull out bed is dirty. There’s a utensil but seems dirty to use especially with no sink & potable water nearby. No door locks.

Bunkie on Privately Owned Ski Lake
A great little get away at T's pond. We went during the week and it was nice and quiet...just a few skiers around dinnertime which provided some nice entertainment! We were thankful for the air conditioner in the bunkie as it was 30+ degrees outside. We loved the fire pit and we were fortunate enough to enjoy a clear starry sky after the sun set. We brought a small tent to accommodate one of our kids and there was plenty of space to set up. The screened gazebo was a nice way to escape the brief period of rain that blew through. The bunkie is rustic but it was equipped with the basic dishes and cookware we needed for the 4 of us. If staying in the future I would bring some eco friendly dish soap and maybe some paper towels/extra dish cloths. The port-a-potty was a bit of a walk...I'd make sure you bring a flashlight if you are going to be using it throughout the night.
We all enjoyed a swim and our dog had a blast!

It was a little hard to find but once we did it was quite the hidden gem! It was absolutely perfect for two people! Dock was beautiful to spend the evening and morning on. We also made hotdogs, had such an amazing time here. Would definitely come back again!

The whole point of choosing that place was to use the lake for canoeing. When we arrived, people were water skiing, making it impossible for us to canoe. They said we could use it later, but despite the schedule showing skiing until 8 PM, they kept going until 9 PM.
The next morning, as we were about to go in, the host said we couldn't use the canoe and should wait because she wanted to ski!!
She told us we had to wait for 15 minutes, but even after waiting an hour, they continued skiing, so we packed our things and left.
The sanitary conditions were horrible; the couches in the pavilion and inside the cabin were so dirty that we had to put covers on them to sit. The refrigerator was extremely disgusting, there was long human hair inside it.

I had a wonderful experience staying at the houseboat and enjoying the views from that spot. It was a fantastic stay, and I especially appreciated the privacy. Since it's the last houseboat in this location, there was no one passing by, so my mom, and I had complete privacy and peace.
The water in the lake is very clean. While it's not entirely clear, it's definitely very clean and has a soft feel to it. We went swimming early in the morning and late in the evening. With the beautiful views around, it was an amazing experience!
The host is nice and responsive, and the spot is so private that you can't hear anything from other people. My mom wants to come back, so we definitely will!

The cabin is tiny, which is really cozy. Enough place to sleep an cook. What else you need for a relaxed and careless stay? Ah yes, a table in the gazebo is a perfect complement to it. Fireplace, BBQ all the attributes of the camping and the lake completing the harmony. Some like it hot, but this one is just perfect for swimming (and fishing, but it is not our profile:)
