Looking for a convenient place to stop for the night while passing through? This large, open field is located just minutes from the intersection of Highway 5 and Highway 6 at Clappison’s Corners, making it an easy overnight stop for road trippers, van campers, and self-contained RVs. Please note that this is not a developed campground. The field is rough-cut and kept simple, with plenty of open space but very few amenities. If you’re looking for a quiet place to park, relax, and continue your journey the next day, this may be a great fit. If you’re expecting manicured campsites or resort-style facilities, this probably is not the right location. We prefer to be upfront so guests know exactly what to expect and can enjoy their stay. The sites are best suited to self-contained campers and RVs, as well as guests who are comfortable camping without amenities. Things to Know • Highway traffic may be heard, although it is generally quieter at night. • Guests must be comfortable driving their vehicles on grass. We are not responsible for vehicles that become stuck. • Some areas of the field are rough or uneven to walk on. • The sites are not completely level and may have a slight slope. • This is a family-friendly area, so loud music and parties are not permitted. We look forward to welcoming respectful travellers passing through the area.

This was a good spot! I hiked to a couple paths & waterfalls in the area along the Bruce trail & the pit stop made for a perfect night afterwards. It is within a few minutes drive to various hiking areas so I loved having somewhere nearby to stay instead of a long drive back into the city. The pit stop was just as described in the listing - highly recommend! Had some highway noise as the listing mentions but didn’t bother me to be honest. Still felt like a nice little chunk of nature to relax.
