Lola’s Loop site is private, less open, enclosed in a natural habitat accessible by short path. Metal campfire holder. No toilet or furniture.
The Rocks is shady, lots of wood to burn, firepit, next to a lawn and a natural habitat for animals. Drive to site.

My second glamping site "The Medieval Encampment", is available for booking starting April 1st of 2025. I will have more pictures soon. In April of 2024, my long awaited 1st Glamping site was available for booking. It's been very popular! Please read the description carefully of the "Gypsy Rose Vardo", to see if it's the right fit for you.
I also have 10 large camping sites available on our 33 acre property located in Northwest NJ. Sites 1 through 4 are on mowed, fairly level fields and are large enough for campers or RV's up to 30ft, or a couple of tents, and sites 5 and 6 are further back in the woods, available only for a few small tents, sites 7 through 10 are much further into the property and are only accessible with a high clearance AWD or 4WD SUV or you can park and hike your gear in. There are 3 compost toilet outhouses spread out through the property, so it's an easy walking distance from any site.
Although we are only 2 1/2 miles from a main highway, the last 2 miles are on a dirt road with no houses.
We are surrounded by protected land, so no neighbors and lots of wildlife, including the occasional bear, coyote or raccoon. Keep all food items secured. Because we are surrounded by protected land we are not sprayed for insects, so be safe and do tick checks often and bring the bug spray.
We are 45 minutes from NYC or the Delaware Water Gap and an hour away from the NJ shore. There are horse farms nearby that offer trail rides. We are also close to the Highland and Appalachian Hiking trails.
There are two reservoirs within a 20-minute drive for canoeing or kayaking.
There are walking trails through our property, including a ten-minute hike on a marked trail to a small waterfall in a ravine.

We also have a farm brewery open 3-7 in our old dairy barn for you to enjoy. Live music Saturdays and Sundays. Minnewaska State Park and Mohonk Reserve are only 10 minutes away. The rail trail is three minutes away. This trail gives you walking and biking access into New Paltz, where there is tons of restaurants and lots of shopping.
Please be aware that during the months of September and October there may be a Pick-Your-Own customer or two walking around picking apples around the campsite area between the hours of 10:00-6:00. The property has many interesting aspects including great views, old stone walls, old building foundations, and lots of wildlife. The babbling Brandy Brook runs along the edge of the property and though shallow is ready to dip your toes into. We have cleared multiple trails and they are ready for you to explore.
Local legend says that Mr. Dowe himself lived and farmed here and even had a small distillery on the property.

We have 2 sites available on site: (1) Starlite Stay - a new Coleman Travel Trailer that sleeps 4-6 comfortably and (2) The Meadow - a classic site that can accommodate a tent, a pop up, a travel trailer, or RV. The firepit is shared if both sites are booked. We are located in the Rondout Valley nestled between the Catskill Mountains and the Shawangunk Mountains. Our property has great views, hiking trails, and a serene and babbling brook you can explore or lounge near with a good book! We are a short drive away from the towns of Ellenville and Kerhonkson as well as popular hiking and climbing areas in and around Minnewaska State Park. The Wright family are terrific hosts. The apple orchard is beautiful but they are much much more. The camping sites are cool and you have plenty room. Make sure to enjoy the beer and entertainment but whatever you do buy their apple cider donuts. They are spectacular.

We had a wonderful 2 nights at Mohonk Mountain View Farm. The mountain views were stunning, especially during sunrise and sunset. The campsite felt peaceful, private, and well cared for. What a big, beautiful space to relax and enjoy. The weather was rough, but I still enjoyed myself with the numerous fire pits and seating to relax and unwind. There were goats, chickens, and ducks, and they were nice to hang out with. It was a wonderful time, and I'll definitely be back.

We got the spot # 3, but she realized that it would have a big group of campers next to us, so she offered us to stay at the spot # 10, which was the best option! We were next to the waterfall and far away from other campers. I would definitely come back and recommend it for who wants to camp in New Jersey!

Robibero's vineyard was the perfect spot for us. Harry was a great host—helped us check-in later than planned, and he showed us where to get wood for a small fire. The outdoor bathrooms were still closed from the winter, so Harry allowed us access to his barn bathrooms, which were immaculate.
We had the whole field to ourselves mid-April. Such a treat. Each site has a fire pit and picnic table, and we picked the site by the trees. The entire field is very flat, with the exception of one hilly spot. The one by the trees had a slight slope going left, but that can be avoided with tent placement. We will absolutely be back! We loved it!

We booked this campsite for our anniversary and it was spectacular! The fire pit was a great size and we purchased the wood so there was a stack of firewood waiting for us. You can fish right from the site (we saw two nice sized trout at night but couldn’t catch them). The bugs were not a problem for us which surprised me (but at night if you are using a headlamp a mosquito net helps keep the bugs from hitting your face, also we didn’t have any ticks bothering us at all)
The spot is private, huge, and so peaceful. It also looked like there were some outlets we could’ve used for a projector if we would have brought it. If you’re looking for a great camping trip this is the spot!
Ps: We didn’t rent the inflatable kayaks from Blake but we regretted it immediately when we saw people peacefully strolling along the river fishing on theirs.

Loved our stay on Eric’s land. Beautiful, quiet spot with plenty of trails to explore all around. Close enough to amenities but far enough to feel like you’re somewhere special. The horse neighbors were very polite as well. We’d love to come back.

First time camping in an Rv! This has been the most beautiful experience the host are very sweet and super helpful! I feel like it’s heaven here! The horses are the sweetest horse I have ever met and the trails are gorgeous!

Land was as described. There is an RV hookup in front when you arrive and the plots of camping land behind the barn. The grass was fresh, and the fire pits were perfect. I stayed one night and it was alot of fun.

This is such a cute and cozy location. There are 4 camp sites and a B&B on the premises, along with a nice multi use trail. The host allows the use of a hose for water, but you must bring your own jug to fill up. Also, bring a toilet and portable shower if needed. Picnic table and fire ring provided and some scrap wood is available, I'd grab a couple bundles on the way there though. Best part was the rescue horses on site, our doggie Zoey loved them! Eric was very friendly and communicative as well. Don't forget to Leave it Better!!

Delaney was accommodating. Everything was as described. Perfect spot to put up camp and prepare for a couple of days of climbing! Great view. Soothing water ambience with pond. Highly recommend.

It's probably awesome when it's not crowded, but our neighbors played music and were being loud with way more people in their group than the rules allow for. I wanted to show my boys the quiet of nature but it's quieter to fall asleep at home.
Facilities were nicely kept, lake was lovely. Store well stocked. What kept it from being great was a lackluster enforcement of rules.

I love Harriman State Park but not this particular campground. The sites are all extremely close to each other and you'll definitely have large groups nearby with loud radios and making tons of noise throughout the night. If you're just doing a day hike in the area then Harriman is perfect with plenty of great trails sights to see.

Have gone numerous times. Take NJ transit out of Penn Station to Tuxedo Park NY (you'll change trains at Secacus). The train ride lastsabout an hour. At Tuxedo walk to the north end of the platform, make a right onto East Village Road and follow it under the Thruway. At the fork turn left onto Grove St., walk about 100 yards and you enter the park. You can take the Ramapo Dunderberg trail (red/white circle blaze) straight up the hill, or Kakiak trail to your right (white blaze). Bring a trail map (or download one). Camp in or near shelters. Bring a water filter if overnighting. Carry water otherwise. Water is not easy to find (again bring a map). Hang food in a bear bag. I had to talk a bear out of walking up to a shelter area October 2015.

Harriman/Bear Mountain is one of my favorite spots, thought I am biased because it's also super local to me. The park is huge, though, and there are so many different trails and sections to explore, including a few historical spots. Beware the strict no alcohol policy here - and prepare for a car search!!
Best mid week. Weekends you can expect huge NYC family groups. Generators, radios crying kids etc prevail. Beaver Pond is great for its proximity to NY, but it can be its downfall as well.

we went here on an off peak - week night. it was great, the lake was really nice to swim in. the roads were great to enjoy our motorcycles. the camp site we chose was on a raised platform which was a first for me. I've read to avoid weekends as it gets crowed.
