Welcome to our Hudson Valley Farm with your choice of a designated campsite nestled beside a serene pond or our Sky Meadow Fire Ring site. This isn’t wilderness camping, but rather a unique opportunity to experience a beautiful farm experience while enjoying the outdoors. You’ll have a reserved camp spot with easy access to the meadows perfect for leisurely walks, birdwatching and simply taking in the fresh country air and sounds. On cloudless nights, dark skies provide a stunning stargazing experience. Or book a stay during a full moon to experience an amazing evening in our own magical valley within the Hudson Valley. As an active seasonal organic farm, you may see and hear livestock, farm machinery, cars, and other people coming and going during your stay. We ask campers to be mindful of these normal farm operations while enjoying the scenic views. During the summer prepare for a magical display of fireflies, which light up the meadows and pond area, creating an incredible summer experience. For your convenience, there is a rustic barn bathroom with a flush toilet, sink, soap and clean towels available on the property, offering basic but comfortable facilities for campers. This is a pack it in/pack it out property - all trash and recycling must be removed by campers when they depart. All campers must be registered on the Hipcamp app prior to arrival including children of any age. We limit the number of campers and cars at each site both for ecological and practical (septic system) reasons. We are located adjacent to the Mid-County Rod and Gun Club, an 800 acre property which has outdoor sport shooting on occasion that can be heard on our property. We live in a rural area and cannot guarantee that you won’t hear similar or other noise like ATVs, machinery from properties nearby, roosters, peacocks, and wildlife - this is country life! Visiting over the 4th of July? It’s likely you’ll see fireworks nearby from a neighboring property—an unforgettable way to celebrate the holiday right from your campsite. Come reconnect with nature in a beautiful setting with the beauty of rolling meadows, and the calming pond as your backdrop. Wake up to singing birds, walk the meadows with your morning cup of coffee or chill with our chickens :)

Tucked away down a mowed path and shielded by wild brush and trees, this private campsite offers peaceful pond-side solitude daytime views and night stargazing. Just a short walk from the main farm, this clearing feels like a hidden meadow—perfect for guests who want quiet, space, and nature all to themselves. Set beside a serene pond, campers can watch reflections of the trees at dusk, listen to frogs and crickets at night, and enjoy a sunrise coffee with views of the water and pastures in the distance. Two Adirondack chairs are provided at the fire pit, offering the ideal spot for evening campfires and long conversations under the stars. This site is more secluded than our other pond-side camp area and gives guests a true “off-the-beaten-path” experience—while still having easy access to farm amenities, walking paths, and the peaceful charm of our farm. A wheelbarrow is provided to make it easy to bring your gear down the short, mowed path to the campsite, as parking is not permitted directly at the site. Guests have access to our barn toilet for added comfort during your stay. During your stay, you may have the opportunity to purchase a selection of fresh, seasonal produce, lavender and herbs grown right here on the farm. We are a working organic farm, and as part of the natural layout, you will see the owners’ farmhouse and a few farm structures from your tent site close by. During your stay, you may also see our farm dogs, staff and other guests. We are located adjacent to the Mid-County Rod and Gun Club and you may hear outdoor sport shooting and other noise nearby (ATVs/machinery). We appreciate your understanding as you enjoy the setting of the farm alongside our day-to-day activities. Our goal is to offer you a restful stay while continuing to care for the land and animals that make our farm special. Please no check-ins after dark. No fishing or swimming is permitted in the pond. Please ensure anyone who will be on the property is also listed on your booking. If the number of people who arrive exceeds the site stated capacity the additional individuals may not be permitted to stay at the property. We have site capacity limits for ecological and septic system reasons - thank you for your understanding!

As the day winds down, the view transforms into something truly special, with the sun dipping behind the hills and casting a warm glow over the barns, silo, and distant ridgelines. The views here are exceptional. Look out across the pasture to see classic Hudson Valley farmland, with barns and silos in the distance and soft mountain ridges beyond. On clear days, the sky feels endless. At night, it opens up to stars that feel close enough to touch. This is a working organic farm, so you’ll experience the authenticity of rural life—open space, fresh air, and the rhythm of the land. It’s not deep wilderness, but rather a beautifully balanced landscape of meadow, trees, and neighboring farms that create a sense of place and history. Large, weathered boulders form a natural boundary on one side and a stone wall gracefully outlines the water’s edge on another adding to the rustic charm of the space. Overhead, a tall shade tree offers dappled sunlight throughout the day, while the backdrop of forested hills frames the horizon. Morning mist often lingers over the treetops, and the sounds of birdsong and rustling leaves create an atmosphere for campers seeking relaxation and connection to nature. This tent camping provides an idyllic Hudson Valley setting just steps from the pond. The site is accessible for a small RV or Van Camper, however there are no electrical or other hookups. Two Adirondack chairs and a small side table are provided at the fire pit, offering the ideal spot for evening campfires and long conversations under the stars. Guests have access to our barn toilet for added comfort during your stay. Depending on the time of year, we may have a variety of organic fruits, vegetables, cut flowers, herbs, and chicken eggs available for purchase. We are a working farm, and as part of the natural layout, you will see the owners’ farmhouse and a few farm structures from your tent site close by including our edible garden and chicken run. When you reserve our Exclusive Farm Escape, you will have exclusive access to all three of our campsites and no other campers will be booked on the property during your stay. This is such a lovely spot and Allison is an incredible host. She communicated with us in advance to ensure we had everything we needed and on the day of our stay she and her husband met us when we arrived, they showed us all around the property and even gave us a gift bag. I can’t say nice enough things about Allison or the farm. It is the perfect getaway. We will definitely be back.

Sky Meadow Fire Circle

Amazing night at Allison's farm. It was perfectly maintained and beautiful. The three sites are spaced out well enough that it feels private. Recommend the site up the hill. Bathroom was clean. Hose available in the barn. Chairs and fire pit at each site we're in great shape. We had a perfect mid June night - sunset + stars and a very cool/unexpected show by the fireflies in the tall grass. Allison and her husband were super nice and communicative -- but not overly annoying. I'm pretty sure they races home from watching the USA world cup match to meet us on time to let us set up camp. Checked every box and would certainly go back again as a pitstop for hiking trip or just an excuse to get out of the city.

Tent camping on Allison's land was phenomenal. I arrived early and was given the option between three different sites, all of which had beautiful views and a lot of space. Allison was extremely welcoming and a great host as well. I would highly recommend Allison's land to anyone looking for a wonderful place to camp and spend time outdoors.

A Lovely Overnight Stay on the

We stayed at the Sky Meadow Fire Circle site at Hudson Valley Farm Escape while traveling home to Florida from Boston Children’s Hospital, where one of our daughters had an appointment, and it was such a lovely stop along the way. Before we arrived, Allison had freshly mowed the area and even enlarged the site a bit so our van could park comfortably, which was incredibly thoughtful and appreciated. The farm was peaceful, beautiful, and exactly what we needed after a long day of travel. We purchased some of their organic dried lavender and made the most delicious lavender tea during our stay. The sunset was absolutely stunning, with the mountains creating a gorgeous backdrop across the farm. It was such a relaxing and scenic place to spend the evening. The owners were welcoming, kind, and took the time to show us everything available for us to use. Our girls had a wonderful time enjoying the property, and we truly appreciated their hospitality. We’ve added Hudson Valley Farm Escape to our approved stay list on Hipcamp and would gladly stay again in the future. Thank you for your kindness and for creating such a peaceful place for travelers to enjoy! 🌿💜🌅

Hudson Valley Pond Campsite

We loved staying at Allison's spot! Her and her husband welcomed us with a welcome bag of water, cookies and treats for our pup. The location was beautiful and we had a really lovely, peaceful time. Having the firewood available with firestarter also made it so convenient! They were super generous people and we definitely want to come back!

Secluded Pondside Hideaway

We loved camping at the Hudson Valley Farm! It is impossible to overstate how stunning Allison's property is. The sunset view, stars, and colorful foliage over the rolling hills were so beautiful, we could not get over it or stop taking photos! The Secluded Pondside campsite felt private and peaceful, and the fence nearby provided helpful wind protection during an overnight storm. The site is a short walk from the parking spot, so not quite drive up (though the pond site is drive up, fyi) -- be prepared to carry things back and forth from the site, or ask to borrow a wheelbarrow, which made it super easy. It was great to have access to running water by the parking for doing dishes, and a clean half bathroom (with hot water!) a short walk up the hill in the barn. Our hosts were warm, welcoming, generous, and very responsive to messages. Could not recommend this spot more, especially in fall but I imagine it's completely gorgeous year round.
