Welcome to our Hudson Valley Farm with designated campsites nestled beside a serene pond and in our meadows. This isn’t wilderness camping, but rather a unique opportunity to experience a beautiful, peaceful, elevated farm experience while enjoying the outdoors. You’ll have a reserved camp spot with easy access to the meadows perfect for leisurely walks, and simply taking in the fresh country air and sounds. Your reservation includes a bundle of firewood w/2 firestarters/night, s'mores kits/night and a welcome bag upon arrival. Guests have 24/7 access to our barn flush toilet and sink during your stay. ETA required and checkout is 10am. Early/Late Checkout can be selected in app. On cloudless nights, dark skies provide a stunning stargazing experience, or during a full moon experience an amazing evening in our own magical valley within the Hudson Valley. As an active seasonal organic farm, you may see and hear livestock, farm machinery, cars, and other people coming and going during your stay. We ask campers to be mindful of these normal farm operations while enjoying the scenic views. During the summer prepare for a magical display of fireflies, which light up the meadows and pond area, creating an incredible summer experience. This is a pack it in/pack it out property - all trash and recycling must be removed by campers when they depart. All guests must be registered on the Hipcamp app prior to arrival including children, regardless of age. We limit the number of campers and vehicles at each site both for peacefulness, ecological and practical (septic system) reasons. This is not a campground and we do not permit generators or heavy-duty dual rear-wheel (DRW) wheeled vehicles. We are located adjacent to the Mid-County Rod and Gun Club, a 1500 acre property which has outdoor sport shooting on occasion that can be heard on our property. We live in a rural area and cannot guarantee that you won’t hear similar or other noise like ATVs, machinery from properties nearby, roosters, peacocks, and wildlife - this is country life! Come reconnect with nature in a beautiful setting with the beauty of rolling meadows, and the calming pond as your backdrop. Wake up to singing birds, walk the meadows with your morning cup of coffee or chill with our chickens :)

This campsite includes one bundle of firewood w/2 non-toxic fire starters/night, complimentary campfire-building and campfire starting during the hours of 7am-8pm, 2 Adirondack chairs and a small side table and a s'mores kit with skewer - enough for 2 s'mores/person/night. We also provide a welcome bag upon arrival with a bottle of water + a homemade cookie/pastry + dog treats (if applicable)/guest. Guests have 24/7 access to our barn flush toilet and sink during your stay. We LOVE dogs but they must be leashed and have proof of rabies vaccination. ETA required and checkout is 10am. This is NOT a drive up site, however, we are happy to take you and your gear via our UTV to/from your site. Set beside a serene pond, your site is tucked away down a mowed path and shielded by wild brush and trees, offering peaceful pond-side solitude daytime views and night stargazing. Just a short walk from the main farm, this clearing feels like a hidden meadow—perfect for guests who want quiet, space, and nature all to themselves. This site is more secluded than our other pond-side camp area and gives guests a true “off-the-beaten-path” experience—while still having easy access to farm amenities, walking paths, and the peaceful charm of our farm. We are a working organic farm, and as part of the natural layout, you will see the owners’ farmhouse and a few farm structures from your tent site close by. During your stay, you may also see our farm dogs, staff, other guests, cars/ machinery. We are located adjacent to the Mid-County Rod and Gun Club and you may hear outdoor sport shooting and other noise nearby (ATVs/machinery). We appreciate your understanding as you enjoy the setting of the farm alongside our day-to-day activities. Our goal is to offer you a restful stay while continuing to care for the land and animals that make our farm special. No fishing or swimming is permitted in the pond. Please ensure anyone who will be on the property is also listed on your booking. If the number of people who arrive exceeds the site stated capacity the additional individuals may not be permitted to stay at the property. We have site capacity limits for ecological and septic system reasons - thank you for your understanding!

Large, weathered boulders form a natural boundary on one side and a stone wall gracefully outlines the water’s edge on another adding to the rustic charm of the space. Overhead, a tall shade tree offers dappled sunlight throughout the day, while the backdrop of forested hills frames the horizon. Morning mist often lingers over the treetops, and the sounds of birds and rustling leaves create an atmosphere for campers seeking relaxation and connection to nature. The site is accessible for a tent, small RV, pickup truck or Van Camper (no dually vehicles). We are a working farm, and as part of the natural layout, you will see the owners’ farmhouse and a few farm structures from your site very close by including our organic garden, tractor shed, and chicken run. During your stay you may also see our leashed farm dogs, staff and other guests, machinery and cars. Looking for a private camping experience? When you reserve our Exclusive Farm Escape, you will have exclusive access to all three of our campsites and no other campers will be booked on the property during your stay. Our property is best suited for adults age 21 and up as there are hazards such as open water, active farm machinery, vehicles and uneven terrain. This booking includes: • Exclusive use of all three campsites (no hookups) • Complimentary; 30-amp electrical hookup at a 4th location at no additional charge • early check in (12pm), normally 2pm • late check out (12pm), normally 10am • Wi-Fi access in designated areas of the farm/may be limited or unavailable in more remote areas of the property Welcome basket upon arrival including; • Bottled spring water • Farm made cookies or pastries • S'mores kits and s'mores sticks •. Allison & Brian's property is truly special. They were flexible to accept our site request day-of, and were kind enough to help us get the fire started and available in case we needed anything (extra wood, supplies etc). The site itself was gorgeous, overlooking the entire farm with a sunset view of the mountains in the background. We grilled dinner over the fire and cozied up in the tent with our pup and slept very well. The barn restroom, game area, and farm goodies to bring home were exceptional additions. We can't wait to come back and stay even longer!

Sky Meadow Fire Circle

Allison and Brian were the best hosts! They live on a beautiful farm with fruit trees, chickens, and pastures. We went up for my wife’s birthday and they were so generous making sure we had everything we needed and even brought my wife a birthday cake! Our site was at the top of their land and we had a beautiful view and watched the whole sunset. Our firewood was a little damp but we messaged Allison and they came up and got the whole thing going with a blowtorch! It was awesome. Would definitely go back to this campsite. It was a lovely, peaceful, quiet site. Don’t forget to get eggs and pears from them on your way out!

This is such a lovely spot and Allison is an incredible host. She communicated with us in advance to ensure we had everything we needed and on the day of our stay she and her husband met us when we arrived, they showed us all around the property and even gave us a gift bag. I can’t say nice enough things about Allison or the farm. It is the perfect getaway. We will definitely be back.

We spent two lovely nights at Hudson Valley Farm. Allison was a very welcoming and kind host. We felt surrounded by nature which gave us the perfect reset from city life. I would definitely recommend staying there especially at the secluded site or up the hill,

Amazing night at Allison's farm. It was perfectly maintained and beautiful. The three sites are spaced out well enough that it feels private. Recommend the site up the hill. Bathroom was clean. Hose available in the barn. Chairs and fire pit at each site we're in great shape. We had a perfect mid June night - sunset + stars and a very cool/unexpected show by the fireflies in the tall grass. Allison and her husband were super nice and communicative -- but not overly annoying. I'm pretty sure they races home from watching the USA world cup match to meet us on time to let us set up camp. Checked every box and would certainly go back again as a pitstop for hiking trip or just an excuse to get out of the city.

Tent camping on Allison's land was phenomenal. I arrived early and was given the option between three different sites, all of which had beautiful views and a lot of space. Allison was extremely welcoming and a great host as well. I would highly recommend Allison's land to anyone looking for a wonderful place to camp and spend time outdoors.

We stayed at the Sky Meadow Fire Circle site at Hudson Valley Farm Escape while traveling home to Florida from Boston Children’s Hospital, where one of our daughters had an appointment, and it was such a lovely stop along the way. Before we arrived, Allison had freshly mowed the area and even enlarged the site a bit so our van could park comfortably, which was incredibly thoughtful and appreciated. The farm was peaceful, beautiful, and exactly what we needed after a long day of travel. We purchased some of their organic dried lavender and made the most delicious lavender tea during our stay. The sunset was absolutely stunning, with the mountains creating a gorgeous backdrop across the farm. It was such a relaxing and scenic place to spend the evening. The owners were welcoming, kind, and took the time to show us everything available for us to use. Our girls had a wonderful time enjoying the property, and we truly appreciated their hospitality. We’ve added Hudson Valley Farm Escape to our approved stay list on Hipcamp and would gladly stay again in the future. Thank you for your kindness and for creating such a peaceful place for travelers to enjoy! 🌿💜🌅

We loved staying at Allison's spot! Her and her husband welcomed us with a welcome bag of water, cookies and treats for our pup. The location was beautiful and we had a really lovely, peaceful time. Having the firewood available with firestarter also made it so convenient! They were super generous people and we definitely want to come back!

Secluded Pondside Hideaway

We loved camping at the Hudson Valley Farm! It is impossible to overstate how stunning Allison's property is. The sunset view, stars, and colorful foliage over the rolling hills were so beautiful, we could not get over it or stop taking photos! The Secluded Pondside campsite felt private and peaceful, and the fence nearby provided helpful wind protection during an overnight storm. The site is a short walk from the parking spot, so not quite drive up (though the pond site is drive up, fyi) -- be prepared to carry things back and forth from the site, or ask to borrow a wheelbarrow, which made it super easy. It was great to have access to running water by the parking for doing dishes, and a clean half bathroom (with hot water!) a short walk up the hill in the barn. Our hosts were warm, welcoming, generous, and very responsive to messages. Could not recommend this spot more, especially in fall but I imagine it's completely gorgeous year round.
