We bought our beautiful 23 acres with our hacienda on it more than 30 years ago and we have had friends come camp here over the years. Our friends love to swim in our pond and bring their dogs over for hikes and mountain bike rides so we decided to open it up for others to enjoy.Up on a hill 10 miles from Ithaca, pitch a tent by the pond or find a shady spot near under the pines. We have 23 acres of park-like setting with trails that lead from the pond around the property for walking the dog, taking in the beautiful views and enjoying the sunset. Our spring-fed pond is lovely for swimming and it is stocked so you can catch and release. There is enough space that you will not be able to see the other campsites from your site though you may see people lounging and swimming in the pond at any given time. We have our portojohn pumped and sanitized weekly. No soap in pond please. Please let us know if you are bringing your dog when making your booking. Due to the steep banks of the pond, we do not allow young children who do not know how to swim. We recycle and compost. Please comply with this or we will have campers take their trash home with them.

Hillside Pond with a View

We really enjoyed our stay at Sharon’s! She was a great host and super responsive. Our dog was obsessed with the pond and trails! The camp grounds were also really private. The sunsets were gorgeous. There was also a ton of great restaurants, wineries and breweries nearby. There’s a corner store a 7 mins drive away as well. We’ll be back again soon!

Fantastic

We LOVED it! Beautiful location and our dogs were off-leash the entire time. We swam, paddle-boarded, and ate smores by the fire. Heaven! And close to all kinds of great places around Ithaca. We STRONGLY recommend this spot.

Summer Camp Splendor

A lovely trip with a great site. Sharon was very communicative and provided all the essentials. The spot was a great location and had lots of interesting views and items to explore. The best part was the sea of fireflies over the meadows and trees combined with the stars left us in a state of total bliss. Highly recommend!

This site was absolutely gorgeous. The pond was the perfect size for swimming and super refreshing. It is a really nice location, secluded and private but not too far from some really nice restaurants. I would absolutely go back.
