This is a perfect
area for fishing, kayaking, bicycling, kite flying, hiking, wine trailing or relaxing. Enjoy the well-maintained fire pit in the Adirondack chairs. Sunrise and sunset are spectacular here and stargazers will be delighted with the expansive views. Amish carriages and work horses are common sites.

2 RV sites tucked away on a paved county road 3 miles off of Route 414 in Lodi, NY. These sites are close to the NY State Wine Trail with the closest winery a 10 min drive away. Lodi Point State Park is also 5 miles away with public access to Seneca lake. Lodi Point features a boat launch, nice playgrounds and swimming areas. As we are located in beautiful Fingerlakes, you can also find many other state parks including Sampson, Watkins Glen, Hector and Taughannock, all within a short drive. Taughannock Falls is a must see with its 215 foot plunge waterfalls.
Each of our RV sites has a 16ft x 45ft stone pad and full electric hook ups with a 110v 20 amp, 30 amp, and 50 amp service. A picnic table and campfire ring are on each site, but there are no water or sewage hook ups available. There is no bathroom on site, you must bring your own. Sampson State Park is the nearest dump station. If you’re Looking for a quiet spot to spend a night or two, this is place for you.

Pooh's Corner lies in a rural area just 1.5 miles from Watkins Glen. (3315 County Road 28, Watkins Glen, NY 14891). We took great care to make sure each campsite is PRIVATE (parking on-site*) and the trails are easily navigable. Our 'Welcome Shed' is equipped with a compost toilet, local information, (newly added) Hot Water Station, first-aid kit, charging station, bug spray etc. and is located in a safe, well lit, open area on the property. Each site is equipped with a fire pit and comfortable seating with tables, chairs, and/or picnic tables and tripod grills. Firewood is available on a donation basis.
There are State Parks and places to hike one of the many gorges around beautiful Seneca Lake and surrounding area. Take a tour of the many wineries and breweries which our region is famous for. Enjoy hiking, swimming, biking, kayaking, and many historical sites to see. Our reviews tell it all. We know you'll love it here :)
*PLEASE NOTE: Our sites are custom made for TENT or CAR camping. Because we have "parking on-site", Large RVs, Campers (over 16'), and any 5th-wheel campers are very difficult to place since there are no easy ways to back in or turn around. About the Property: Our unique property boasts peaceful camping on a beautifully manicured MotoTrials Riding and Obstacle Play Course. All 4 camping sites are nestled into the Obstacle course. Trials Riders and non-Trials Riders alike will find much to enjoy here. Campers unfamiliar with Trial are welcome to take advantage of a Lesson on one of our Rental Bikes, while the Obstacle Course is also super-fun on foot (for walks or runs), mountain bike, trials bicycle, or for playing with your RC toy! We have night lighting on areas of the course- to turn on at your request, even if just to sit in the evening and enjoy the lights reflecting off the pond-We surely do! We are located on NY 38 but our traffic is not obnoxious-ie: Log and Milk Trucks, Farm Tractors and Commuters travelling to and from work in nearby Cortland . It is a very peaceful rhythm here. Your camping can be private and leisurely and you can watch the world go by. The views and big sky are gorgeous in our corner of farm country. Our small pond (tho not suitable for fishing or swimming-sorry!) provides entertainment w/ turtle sunbathing raft and lots and lots of nature's visitors. Pets always welcome off-leash with your guidance. About the Trials Riding: Sundays may be an Event day. We host 5 Mototrial Events each season (see below) and if spectating appeals, you can plan your trip to coincide. You're in for a treat if you've never seen these nimble motorcycles do their 'thing'... up, over, and around the obstacles. Events are busy and exciting, but no worries (!) trials bikes are not loud. Riders are friendly and considerate. If spectating not your thing- no worries. Non-event days are quite laidback. If Trials riders come here for additional practice (or instruction) it's not loud or invasive, nor interferes with any camper training or play on the course. When riders are here (barring Events ), it's typically only 2-4 at once. Multiple activities co-exist nicely, as there is plenty of room for all. There are many days no one is on the course at all (!) and you may have it all to yourself or possibly with another camper. Hope to see you in our slice of heaven! Only spent one night here but I would come back! Great location, super close to the finger lakes. The staff was super friendly, they upgraded my stay and moved me closer to the exit because they knew it was a better site and it was empty that night. Check in was super simple and there was even live music playing at the gazebo in the evening. The ‘locals’ were super friendly too, we walked around at night and everyone was up and hanging out and one asked if we needed help finding our site. Would recommend!

Just returned from a weekend at Hillside Haven. We were very happy with our stay. The pull-through site was easily accessible, level, and electric and h2o hookups were conveniently located. Bailee was an exceptional host. She messaged us to make sure everything was going smoothly during our stay and see if we needed anything. Loved the versatility of this property to be utilized for groups but it was just us and our dogs this trip. Great remote location without being to far away from lake activity and small town exploring. Nicely landscaped firepit with plenty of room for games/activities. One thing to note is the creek is not directly accessible from the campsites due to a steep drop off. There were paths throughout the woods that led to other entry points, however they were not visible from the main area. I would have liked if they had cut the grass prior to our stay, but that's the only (negative) thing I could say regarding this property. They are doing an outstanding job.

We drove 300 miles to Dawn's Yost Ridge for a 4 night stay. Part way into the 3rd day we enjoyed it so much that we extended our stay for another day! We chose Yost Ridge due to the proximity of 2 of the larger Finger Lakes. Beautiful camp site! The site isn't far off the road but the amount of traffic consists of horse and buggies and a few water tankers for the farms. Hours pass before you hear a car. There are neighbors on each side but both are quiet. The one has a dog who will come out to say hello and then goes back inside. The goats and rooster added a nice country touch. The firepit sits away from the camper spot which makes it nice. Well water is clean and electrical hook up is up to par. Already looking forward to a visit next year! Thanks Dawn!

Nathan's two sites are meticulously maintained, level, peaceful, and surrounded by beautiful rural farmland. It truly is my happy place! We have a week-long family reunion at Seneca Lake each year, and while the rest of the family stays in cabins about a mile away, I much prefer staying at Nathan's Hipcamp.
It's quiet, relaxing, and the perfect place for me to retreat to at the end of a busy family day. I also really enjoy seeing his Amish neighbors and catching glimpses of their busy farm life. Nathan's parents live nearby as well and are always so welcoming and friendly.
I look forward to coming back!

Sampson SP is one the most beautiful state parks in Upstate NY & the Fingerlakes Region. Many great improvements made to park - new section for 4 dump stations & potable water, mini golf course, more food options at restaurant. The park should trim some their hanging trees to accommodate taller rvs, and add more crush stone to some sites to make level and wider.

Large park occupying the former Sampson Navel Training Center during WWII and , later, the Sampson Air Force Training Center during the Korean War. Most of the buildings are gone but there is a museum operated by veterans with artifacts of the park's prior use. Beautiful sunsets over Seneca Lake and surrounded by Finger Lakes wineries. A fun park.
