We had such an amazing experience at this camp! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome, everyone was so friendly, helpful, and genuinely kind. The entire place is spotless, which made our stay even more enjoyable and comfortable. One of the best surprises was discovering they had a pool, it was such a fun bonus and the perfect way to relax after a day of exploring. And to top it all off, the camp is dog-friendly, which was a huge plus for us! Our pup had the best time, and it made the experience even more special. We truly enjoyed every moment and can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend!

Great spot for early morning trip to Monhegan Island. Nice flat area for my tent and an outdoor shower. Can’t beat the price for camping in midcoast Maine.

This is in a rock quarry that the owner still works on occasion. There are several sites. We were in the first one on entry into the area. The assortment of colors, shapes, and sizes of beautiful rocks kept me entertained. The road in is rough gravel and past some other farm sites. But we were behind a linked gate and felt comfortable in our campsite.

Amazing scenic spot! We stayed here in a rooftop tent and next time we come to Maine we will be staying here again!

Great spot for a Van Site. Brendan said he was in the process of fixing it up but with the table, fireplace, and angle you can place your van, it was a nice setup. Definitely a great launchpad for Acadia adventures, this side of the island being so much more quiet. Brendan was nice, communicative, and had tons of amenities on site.

This campsite was absolutely breathtaking! You get 360 degree views which include the surrounding forests, mountains, and lakes. The blueberry fields were gorgeous and it was so peaceful and quiet. There was firewood provided which was a wonderful touch! Super easy to find and the directions given were really helpful. Would highly recommend this site and can’t wait to go back in the future.

What a cool little, tucked away oasis! The host was so nice, greeted us in the morning and played with our dog a bit. The amenities were clear, well maintained and organized. 10/10 will be staying here again!

I didn't take any photos, because they wouldn't have done this slice of heaven you're able to access on Vinalhaven an iota of justice. If you want a chance to camp on a piece of essentially untouched wilderness on the coast of Maine this is the place. I would recommend more of a backpacking type set up and tread lightly to preserve this amazing place.

3 nights at Hazelbrook Cabin at Full Plate Farm

Hazel's cabin was an absolute delight. Everything was clean, comfortable, beautifully decorated, thoughtful and peaceful. We were able to deeply relax and enjoy the surrounding landscape. Hazel and Mike were helpful, friendly hosts who gave use great local recommendations and were available yet very respectful of our privacy. We loved the wood stove, outdoor shower, freshe eggs and cozy loft. Also appreciated the rainbow flag, knowing we were welcome! We will be coming back.

This is the most beautiful cabin! Everything about it is cozy and unique. We cooked with ease and enjoyed the shower and the fire. We were able to go the nearby beaches and walk right from the cabin to a nature preserve. I highly recommend a stay.

This is the nicest place! Every piece of it is a beautiful piece of art or handpicked item. The bed is super comfortable and the shower is hot. The hosts are incredibly kind. You can drive 20 minutes to a bug grocery store, go on a hike from the house, and drive 10 minutes to the beach

So gravel pit is being mined for materials to maintain whole gravel section of Egypt lane (private road.) It’s 2 miles of gravel road . Then it will be reclaimed also . The pit is not to be explored . Also is not part of the campsites that are booked . There is plenty of flat land to stay safe In the meanwhile . there are sites that are semi complete wooded partly . Until they grow back . Your booking $ helps fund all of these projects that I do . Plenty of acres to explore quiet and peaceful. . Egypt stream flows around half the property .Gated for your security. A lot of nature . Wild life present. please leash your pets there’s porcupines around ! . Peaceful and Quiet! Close to a few parks and Acadia national park. Lemoine state park is very close . Bar harbor also . Campfires are ok no bonfires tho. When this area was originally settled, the farm was located on the "highway" from Camden to seasonal pastures in Lincolnville. The trails leading to the park still go by the old foundations that dotted the old Government Road from Camden. The farm has 46 acres of flowing pasture, hardwood forest and flower and vegetable gardens. At the heart of the property is a large farm pond that has been used to water livestock for generations. The couch in the sitting room also folds-out to a double bed for the children. We use high-quality cotton sheets, pillows and down comforters - to assure you will be cozy and feel pampered. We provide coffee/tea service in the morning in our farm store. The cabin does not have heat, electricity or running water. We provide numerous battery-charged lights and candles making this a is cozy, relaxing and perfect way to experience Maine farm life. An outhouse is nearby. We provide an outdoor hot-water shower. Plan to visit our farm store where you can buy goat-milk soap, beeswax candles, organic wool pillows, sheep and goat skins and other creations made by Patti.
