Cute spot on the water with a fire pit and outhouse! Great for a rest stop if you’re in the area or driving through. A short walk to the car park and outhouse.

My friends and I had a lovely time spending a weekend here! Hosts were great, site was better than I could have imagined. Lots of space, private, firewood is available there, and I got to enjoy the harvest Moon from a great view! I'm sure I will find my way back there again next year

Beautiful property with plenty of spots for a group, family, or individual to camp on. The hosts are great and were very helpful with accommodating our large group.
It can get buggy though so just bring bug spray and long sleeves, but that should be expected with any camping.

Beautiful, secluded campsite overlooking the bay. Comfortable, flat tent area and nice fire pit. Sara was very easy to coordinate with and the campsite is down a wooded hillside from the house so it felt very private. Amazing paddling with my kayak on the bay, but be mindful that it needs to be close to high tide to access the water! Nice nature preserves for walking/running in the area too - would highly recommend this site!

GORGEOUS site!! The campsite itself is far away from the house and very quiet and protected. The home/garden of the host is absolutely gorgeous and the outhouse is so cute and there’s clearly a lot of attention to detail and care put into the site. Recommend for sure!

Sara and her husband were very kind and welcoming. Outhouse was very clean, and the campsite was beautiful, right on a little cove. The campsite is down the hill from the hosts’ home, which is a gorgeous field setting with animals, and was plenty private. Served as a great jumping off point to surrounding areas, where we explored Waldoboro, Friendship, and Boothybay Harbor.

Beautiful spot on the shores of Muscongus Bay, a paddler's paradise. Camp site is secluded, overlooking a tidal bay. Nice breeze keeps the spot cool and bug free. Site is impeccable, so is composting toilet. Hosts are beyond nice. Narrows Tavern in town a great after paddle stop. Will definitely be back!

This was literally the gem I was looking for. I wanted a place to get away from crazy life and this did the trick times 10. It was the perfect time to visit main. The bay on some more ingredients was so calm it was literally like a mirror. I was also the only person kayaking. Literally in a bay that was probably thousands of acres of water. I saw seals, bald eagles, loons and more. At night 90 percent of the time all I heard was the wind, the birds and an occasional owl or coyote. Suring the day it was equally almost as quiet. There were zero boats around except one fishing boat on one day I stayed. Some of the nearby neighbors have dumpy properties with fishing gear laying around. But Sara's little homestead is an oasis. She provided delicious main well water, firewood for purchase and the outhouse was thoughtfully put together. The campsite was pristine and private. She and her family left me alone and never intruded. Main has a special place in my heart now.

A couple friends and I tent camped on Sara’s land for just one night. The spot was perfect for us. We had plenty of room for two tents and a hammock. With water on three sides and a fire pit, there’s not much more we could have asked for. Sara and her family live right up the hill, but it felt like we had the space to ourselves. Highly recommend!
