I loved this spot scenically but I would've loved a bathroom situation for a campsite at this price, but I don't know if that's just the going rate for this area. Overall a very nice quiet location. We did have to do some thorough tick checks

Super peaceful and scenic camping spot. We walked about a mile up the old carriage trail and back in the evening and the whole property is beautiful. Jeff was very attentive and made sure everything was perfect for us when we got there. He was waiting at the end of the road to guide us to the camping spot. Others have said to watch out for the ticks but like anywhere in maine the last couple years they're everywhere but we only found 1 in the time we were there. Staying out of the tall grass probably helped.

We loved camping on Jeff’s land! The site was perfectly secluded yet easy to access from the main road. Both sun rise and sun set here were breathtaking, not to mention a dazzling view of the night sky. 10/10. We will be back!

Had such a great time here! Jeff and his wife were very welcoming and answered all of our questions about local activities. The lake is great for SUP, and our dog had a great time exploring. So amazing to wake up and go on a morning dog walk and not see any people! Thank you Jeff!

Such a gem of a campsite! And amazing, kind hosts. The site itself is down an old stagecoach road lined with apple trees — very secluded with no other campers around. We brought our paddleboards, spent the day on the water, followed it up with a hot outdoor shower, and topped it off with fresh strawberry shortcake and jamaican jerk chicken from Beth’s farm market down the road. So good!

So much. Beth’s, which is right down the road, really has everything you could need for a camping weekend. You’re also close to Warren (St. George Pizza), Waldoboro (Odd Alewives, Idas Wine Bar @ The Waldoboro Inn, The Waldo Theatre), Thomaston (Uproot Pie Co @ Carriage House), Rockland (Cafe Grazie, Sammy’s Deluxe, Luce Spirits, The Farnsworth Museum), Rockport (Seafolk Coffee), and Camden (Winona’s, First Fig, Megunticook Lake, Camden Hills State Park)
Amenities: There’s a platform for your tent, a picnic table, firepit, and adirondack chairs. When we showed up, the hosts left fresh cut flowers at the site for us. There was also a little toilet + trashbag set up but we just used our luggable loo camp toilet + wag bags.

A beautiful site with a gorgeous view of the Camden Hills. When the day was hot we swam in the pond on Jeff's property across the road. Jeff and his wife are super nice and accommodating. Very private. Highly recommended.

Excellent excellent spot! Wow such a beautiful gem of a place. Jeff and family were so kind, responsive, and generous. The camping area is about a 1/3 mile from the road and set up with a nice picnic table, large tent platform, and lovely views. There's a pond nearby and lots of field and trail to walk. Would definitely come back. Thanks!

The area was wonderful and easy to find. Beautiful view and nice to have pond access. Jeff was very friendly and accomodating. Great mini getaway or place to stop midway through trip where you feel like you are out in nature and still have privacy!

Jeff and Leila have a beautiful spot. We loved waking up and looking over the fields from our campsite on a hill. We were truly all alone out there. The site is a great size, and was easy to pull our tiny teardrop camper in to. We’d love to go back!
If you go, be prepared for ticks, which is the case pretty much anywhere in the region these days. We pulled several off ourselves and our dogs over the weekend. Avoid letting your dogs walk in the longer grass outside the site.

A wonderful campsite with beautiful views and very hospitable hosts. The site is comfortably set back from any main road, giving you a great view of the 200 acre property as well as privacy. Our hosts went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay, I bet they’d give you the shirt off your backs if you asked them! Don’t forget to bring a treat for their handsome and very friendly pup, Henry. We will definitely be back!

Jeff has a gorgeous property with great views and a cozy campsite w/ a tent platform. Everything was prepped for us including the fire pit, the grill, and a makeshift porta potty. We loved our stay so much and can’t wait to visit again.

Jeff was a fantastic host who went above and beyond to the camp site as comfortable as possible. We saw (and heard) lots of wildlife and enjoyed walking along the old stagecoach road. Jeff and Leila (plus their sweet dog Henry) have a beautiful piece of land and the spot to set up camp was picture perfect. Sunsets and sunrises. A fire pit, picnic table, barbecue and even a set-up to cook lobster. An outdoor potty set up so you can enjoy the view while you go. An extra large platform for your tent. I loved this location and plan to return. They are wonderful hosts and I enjoyed meeting them and the time I spent on their land. It's 250 acres, with a pond and forests and lots of birds. So much to enjoy, I think its worth 6 or 7 stars!!
Jeff told me about Beth's Farm Stand thats just down the road. He mentioned the strawberry shortcake a couple times. I stopped there and the shortcake did not disappoint. It's the most amazing farm stand. Another place not to miss.

This is a lovely plot of land, textured with different shades of green and some wild flowers. You feel like there is not another house for miles away, and not having to share the space was another guest was wonderful - I find a spot like this, I will always forego staying in a crowded campsite despite the added amenities of fresh water, showers and toilets.

Great site on a large parcel of historic farmland. We were tucked back off the road perched on a small hill, so we had privacy and views. The site was clean, mowed, and ready for us when we arrived. Jeff and Lyla were very warm and welcoming and provided an ample amount of wood to keep the fire burning for 3-4 hrs. -highly recommend purchasing the firewood option available on the listing. The ground is a little uneven, but we had no problem finding just the right spot to level our campervan. Great experience!

It was an amazing stay. We ended up staying an extra day despite our busy schedule , as we absolutely loved our stay. Hosts put a lot of love and care in creating the most beautiful, accommodative welcoming setting for campers. Very private yet very safe with beautiful location and views. Jeff was highly responsive and just very nice in general. Will be definitely back ! And there is a private access to a lake that is on its own makes this place must stay !
