Deer Run
Best camping spot
I dont know if I have words to describe this place. We have seen many places on our trips, including Hip Camp places. This place is the golden standard, no , its better. The land is absolutely gorgeous and there is a lot of space. There a different camping spots,, each of them unique. We stayed the 2nd time at the Deer Run spot and we are loving it. The bathrooms are so beautifully built, yes, i am taking about a bathroom, well built, it looks like its in a house, it smells fantastic (that is no joke). The showers are amazing and the hosts provide shower bags. There is even shower gel, hair shampoo and other items for your hygiene, provided by the host. The fire place is perfect, there is also a grill for the fireplace, wood and kindlings are provided. There is a tent thats has lights on top, very romantic, flowers on the table cloth covered picknick table, a lantern, water etc. We are in aawwwhhh how friendly the hosts are. This place stands out and i wished, every host would have that much pride. Jeff and Cathy created a paradise for campers. Thank you both for being outstang and so wonderful. We will be back for sure.

Jeff and Cathy were wonderful hosts! They were very welcoming and accommodating, always responding quickly and giving clear directions. They provided a tent over the picnic table along with lights, tablecloth, an adorable little vase of flowers, firewood, and nonpotable water. We all felt immediately at home upon arrival. They also had outhouse bathrooms and shower rooms with provided shower bags. We stayed at their Woodchuck Acres which was perfect for our group. But Jeff and Cathy also invited us to check out their other unaccompanied sites. They have every type of camping option available, all beautiful and unique. We had an amazing stay and would definitely come again to this treasure tucked away in a corner of Maine.

Hummingbird Hideaway Tree House
Fun getaway
A group of us stayed at the Hummingbird Hideaway Tree House and loved it. A wonderful, fun structure in a beautiful outdoor setting. The additions of firewood, bug net, chairs, cooler, and portable grill were a huge plus. Bathrooms were close by and clean. The women really appreciated the extra amenities in the restroom too. The host was very kind and welcoming. We hope to be back someday!

Oasis in the Woods!
What a wonderful piece of heaven Jeff and Cathy have created! We were lucky enough to stay in the platform tent, "Owl's Nest". The decor was thoughtful and it was clean and comfortable! We loved listening to the rain drops from the comfort of a bed! Jeff and Cathy came to meet us upon arrival and showed us the clean and whimsical bathrooms. They also show us the Hummingbird Treehouse that Jeff built and Cathy decorated!! Definitely a great place for a family to stay. If you forgot anything like a toothbrush or soap, they had a complimentary container for the campers. The whole vibe of the place was very guest centered and I hope more people get to experience this lovely place to stay. Happy Trails.
