The campsite was purpose-built for friends and family who come to visit this slice of paradise we call home. Ideally located in the heart of spring country in North Central Florida, we have over 18 major springs within a 50-mile radius of this location, which allows for all the outdoor exploration and watersports you desire. With tubing, kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding, swimming, boating, and fishing available within feet of the campsite, you can stay nearby or venture out to some of the best springs in the world.
Boaters – Private boat ramp is 200 yards up the road on the Santa Fe, public boat ramps within 10 miles on the Santa Fe and Suwannee rivers.
Tubers – Tube the private section of the crystal-clear Ichetucknee river accessible only by the homeowners via our 3 waterfront parks. Both get-out parks are within walking distance to the campsite for your convenience.
Paddlers – Paddle the Santa Fe or Ichetucknee rivers from within the neighborhood, or if the time of year is right, venture up to the Ichetucknee State Park to paddle the head waters and north entrance. This is limited in season and numbers to keep the impact on the river to a minimum.
Swimmers – Swim the Santa Fe or Ichetucknee rivers from within the neighborhood via our 9 waterfront parks (6 Santa Fe, 3 Ichetucknee) or venture to either entrance of the Ichetucknee River State Park just a few miles away.
Nature lovers – Explore the unspoiled conservation areas within the neighborhood that can be hiked and explored. Setup a hammock and sit by the river and watch all your worries wash away, you may get to see the occasional manatee.
Whatever your passion, this campsite accommodates it with electric (50/30/15), water, picnic table, concrete firepit, clothesline and plenty of room to spread out. The neighborhood is golf-cart and UTV friendly and has lots of dirt roads to explore. The deer can be found quite easily every morning and evening while riding around and rarely run away from the vehicles.

We have reserved 4A River Camp multiple times during February and each time we have loved this beautiful and peaceful site! Being right on the banks of Santa Fe River is amazing! The site is spacious and private as well as being accessible to Ichetucknee Springs SP. We always enjoying canoeing, snorkeling, bicycling right from our camp.
Michael is a gracious host and always willing to do whatever he can to accommodate our needs.

Just returned from tent camping along the Sante Fe River in December. It was yet another absolutely wonderful experience. The crisp winter air, combined with water made for a peaceful and refreshing getaway. You've just gotta see the morning fog over the river. I went with a small group of friends and brought along our dog, who had the time of her life exploring the yard, playing fetch, and basking in the sun.
The Hipcamp location itself is well-maintained with tons of space, and a beautiful view on the water. Even though it was December, we stayed warm with a campfire, hot drinks, and plenty of layers. Great nighttime stargazing, too.
What really stood out, though, was our host. Michael is incredibly friendly and helpful. His hospitality truly enhanced the experience and made us feel welcomed and cared for.
I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a winter tent camping spot by the river.

My husband, myself and another couple (and a dog) camped here for a long weekend. While it is along the side of the property owners house/parking area, Mike is a great host and it is waterfront, right along the Santa Fe. Outside of checking in with us to ensure we didn't need anything, we were left alone to enjoy ourselves. This area is truly stunning, and a 3 minute drive on a golf cart to a private park with flushing toilets and access to the Ichetucknee. If you've never seen the Ichetucknee, it's positively breathtaking, and this campsite gives you access to it. There's electric, water, a firepit, a sink, and a closet thing where you can take a hot shower and use a bucket toilet if you need it. At night deer are just walking around in the area, and the trees are old and massive. We absolutely LOVED the area and will definitely return!

We loved the camp spot. The view of the river was amazing. We enjoyed fishing, taking a walk down to the park.
The spot may seem small when you 1st arrive but once settled in it had plenty of room and privacy.

I had an amazing camping experience on Christine’s property. The location is absolutely beautiful and incredibly peaceful—perfect for unwinding and reconnecting with nature. Christine was a fantastic host: friendly, welcoming, and went out of her way to make sure everything was just right. The campsite itself was well maintained and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I’ll definitely be coming back again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a serene escape!

We had a wonderful time at Camp 4A! The property is beautiful — peaceful, private, and surrounded by wildlife. We saw so many deer and wild turkey throughout the neighborhood! Mike was an excellent host, very responsive and helpful before and during our stay.
Our only downside was that the dock was broken during our visit and the riverbank was mostly slick limestone, which made it tough to get in and out for swimming. However, there’s a gorgeous park less than a ten-minute walk away where you can access the river easily for a dip! Firewood available onsite for a reasonable price was also a bonus!
