We had an amazing time camping in the tree house! We are “young” empty nesters and this was a great adventure in figuring out what future adventures will look like! Trudy and Greg were so kind and super hospitable! The weather was perfect! We bought the farm fresh eggs and they had an electric griddle to cook em. We sat on the porch while it rained, reading a book with each other, sipping coffee and enjoying the beautiful of the land on the farm. My wife painted a painting in the garden to add to hundreds of others… it was cool to be a part of so many others that have been through. We pet the horses, fed the roosters, played fetch with the dogs. We drove about 15 minutes to Suwannee state park and hiked Balanced Rock Trail. Our time at Kokomo was sacred, and for us a pivotal point into the second half of life! I know it’s a source of income for them, but it felt like they were truly sharing their land and home with us. Such a great time!

I took my boyfriend here for his birthday and unfortunately we had to cut our trip short due to an emergency back home, but boy were we sad to go. The treehouse is such a fun camping experience and our host, Greg, was so kind. He had farm fresh eggs for us every morning and even let us use some of the garlic from his garden. We woke up to his chickens greeting us every day and got to feed his horses. We were so bummed to have to leave whether it was a day short or not but we will definitely be returning to try one of the other camp houses they have available.

It was absolutely beautiful out there. Quiet and in the heart of natural florida and Seminole lands on the Santa fe river. Easy check in and clean cabin. Perfect little spot to stay for a nite or a few! Comfort station with coffee was the best. Also had games and a cook station with grills and smokers for use! Will definitely stay here again. And also just a quick 10 minute trip to the springs for tubing swimming ect.

Absolutely amazing stay! Super quiet, large property, and felt extremely private. The bathhouse for showers and bathroom were literally steps outside the door. Stacey was amazing and took care of any issues (adjusted the AC for us while we were out), brought a camp stove, AND set us up each day with pine needles for a campfire (every 12 year olds wish!!!). Best of all, we caught two fish when out fishing and could not find anyone to filet them for us. The place used to be a campground and also on the property is a restaurant. The place was very popular, but unfortunately somehow it got closed.
