Down a hidden gravel drive with wetlands on either side you will find a completely fenced in field surrounded by pine, oak, and swamp maple trees. There are two ponds located on the property both stocked with bass, bluegill, and sunfish. The front pond is home to many natural Florida wildlife and is a great location to bird watch.
Located a few miles from Brooksville and the Suncoast Parkway, this quiet and peaceful setting is just 5 minutes from the parking area and trailhead for the Suncoast Trail and 10 miles from the famous Weeki Wachee Springs, where you can spend the day at the local park or float down the river with the manatees.
Withlacoochee State Park and other natural preserves with trail access and kayaking are only a short distance away, and Dames Cave, Homosassa Springs, and Chasawiska Springs are all within a ~20-minute drive as well. Spending a day at the beach is easy with plenty of options along the Nature Coast. We’re also less than an hour from Tampa and Clearwater and two hours from Orlando.
A perfect weekend get-away for anyone looking to “unplug,” Smokey Acres is also a great stop for those passing through the area. We are a close distance to many racing, livestock, boating and fishing events. We have no problem accommodating whatever you’re towing!

This property has been in my family for decades. My Husband and I were married under the oaks and have had our share of campfires out there.
Down a hidden gravel drive with wetlands on either side you will find a completely fenced in field surrounded by pine, oak, and swamp maple trees. There are two ponds located on the property both stocked with bass, bluegill, and sunfish. The front pond is home to many natural Florida wildlife and is a great location to bird watch.
Located a few miles from Brooksville and the Suncoast Parkway, this quiet and peaceful setting is just 5 minutes from the parking area and trailhead for the Suncoast Trail and 10 miles from the famous Weeki Wachee Springs, where you can spend the day at the local park or float down the river with the manatees.
Withlacoochee State Park and other natural preserves with trail access and kayaking are only a short distance away, and Dames Cave, Homosassa Springs, and Chasawiska Springs are all within a ~20-minute drive as well. Spending a day at the beach is easy with plenty of options along the Nature Coast. We’re also less than an hour from Tampa and Clearwater and two hours from Orlando.

We were cooking a meal so brought our own measuring cups/spoons, colander, pot, frying pan etc. Great A/C and hot water, no WIFI. Table and chairs outside, private setting but you can hear the road noise from the highway. Plenty of room for family of 4. Can recommend!

We had such a great stay! Me and my husband had a lot of fun. The hosts were very welcoming and made us feel comfortable and safe the entire time. Everything was clean and well taken care of. They also gave us great recommendations for fishing and nearby springs, which we really appreciated.

There was another camp site but nobody there and even though owners are on site, there was plenty of privacy. It was the perfect mix of camping and modern conveniences included. Overall my experience was good! Deirdre is very welcoming and helpful. When I arrived the air conditioner was broke and she immediately had it replaced with a brand new one. The cabins and bathrooms and kitchen are very clean and well stocked with essentials. There is a small fridge though the freezer portion doesn’t keep stuff frozen. It’s only a few minutes from town which is continent though because it’s near the highway there is some traffic noise. Also be prepared for a morning wake up call from the New Guinea hens. There’s someone living in a camper right next to the cabins and bathroom/kitchen area, they were very quiet. Overall I had a nice stay, the accommodations are great, just would have liked a little more peace and solitude.

Super easy booking. Flawless check-in. The site and RV were as described. Everything needed was included. Everything was labeled which was helpful. Joshua was quick to respond to any questions I had. RV was clean. Bed is definitely firm, but I prefer that. Basics like body wash/shampoo were included. Stores are close by if you forget anything. Campfire was wonderful. Right down the road from Rainbow Springs. We had beautiful weather and this RV and campsite was a 10/10 getaway that we needed.

The RV was a home away from home. It was great for a family of five. We had a separate space from our kids and our kids loved the bunk beds. It’s easy to cook inside and outside. The hosts are extremely attentive and responded quickly to our many questions. We loved hiking through the cypress trees. Just watch out for the roots. Signs warn you of them too. We loved the communal space around the bathroom and showers. Our kids played in the sand for hours. We loved taking the tour to meet the goats, house pig and horses. You get to feed the horses too which is really fun. We can’t wait for our next trip. Our kids were sad to leave.

Me and my girlfriend rented this cabin on a spur of the moment weekend getaway. Overall we were very satisfied. It has a twin bed but it's very comfortable and was a cozy little cabin. The biggest complaint I had about the cabin was it had a hay rake hanging over the bed that I hit my head on pretty regularly during our stay. The shower and toilet are outdoors as well as the kitchen area. If you need running water and ac this definitely isn't the place for you but if you want a quite place to recharge for a weekend this is the place for you. Leonard is a quite and nice guy.

Great value felt private despite the propertys main home & other campsites being nearby, some areas on the property could require four-wheel drive, make sure to communicate with the owner so you don't get stuck.
The camper while approaching it was small, but once inside found it to be roomier than expected, you need to find something this old, in good condition. Unexpected Plus the bed was very comfy!!

The cabin was cute and fit my needs, mostly. Plenty of space, working AC. Very cute and I felt very safe. The road to the property wasn’t in great shape but I can understand how that can change depending on the weather. If you have a lower clearance vehicle like I do, you might not want to drive it down the road. It rained pretty hard while I was there and it was a very dicey drive out. Quiet property. Happy to have a bathroom. Sad that the hot water wasn’t working but it wasn’t a dealbreaker. The pull-out bed in the cabin was the most uncomfortable thing I’ve ever slept on. I regretted not bringing my camping mattress.
