We had the best time at El Q! So spacious for us and our four German Shepherds. Maurice and his wife were so welcoming and offered tips on shopping and restaurants. We wanted to get out of the city where it's peaceful, our dogs could run and we could just chill... El Q was PERFECT! Well maintained site and bonus restroom with shower for tent campers. Site accommodated our large rig (42' 5th wheel with back patio) with ample space! Site faces east so sunrise was awesome, sunset behind us so sitting outside was in the shade looking over the open field. Lots of trails to hike/wander with the dogs. Picnic table and fire pit also on site. Overall a gem and we will definitely be back!

Quiet and clean, easy to find, easy to access and set up. Host was nice and respected our privacy. Answered any questions we had promptly and quickly. Spot was perfect for our needs, great location almost half way between my wifeâs family and mine. Will definitely be reserving again in the future. Couldnât be happier with our stay.

This property is beautifully maintained and the perfect place for a dog that loves to run. It is dark and quiet, the amenities are all we could ask for. Maurice responds well to inquiries too and directions to the site are easy to follow. It is a lovely country setting.

I extended my stay a few times because it's such a great, beautiful, and secluded site.
No issues with electricity ( I'm 50 amp), strong water and good sewage outlet.
Beautiful sunrise and plenty of room for your dogs.
Maurice was a friendly and responsive host who checked in to make sure everything was good.
Site is about 15 minutes south of the I-10 with great cell reception.
I recommend this site and I will probably return.

Beautiful and secluded site. Electricity, water and sewage worked great. Amazing view of the sunrise if you are up early enough. And my dogs enjoyed the freedom or running around.
Maurice was a great host, checking in to see if I needed anything and making sure my stay was comfortable.
About 15 mins south of the I-10 and a short drive to Madison or Lee to pick up supplies.

Second time camping here and it was even better than last time!! The new addition of shower and bathroom makes it the complete package. We loved the open space and privacy. Maurice was always quick to respond and gave us all the info needed for our stay. I always highly recommended his site!

Great spot close to the highway but quietly nestled in the woods, host is very responsive, lots of privacy, great view for star watching and plenty of space for the pups to run off leash. Almost didn't want to let the secret out so we can keep it all to ourselves, lol

Perfect for a last minute quiet stop. They had water, electricity, and bathroom. (Didnât use we are self contained) did check out the bathroom but there was a lot of rat poop so I kept to my rig.

Our first time here and would stay again! Maurice was an excellent hostess. Lots of room too roam for our pup and cat. Paths to walk every morning and evening. Very little noise and the stars at night were breath taking. Looking forward to our next visit!!!

We wanted a break in our long travel time to get to our final destination. This was a quick overnight. We got a much later start than anticipated. I text Maurice to let him know we would be coming in late. He immediately responded and let me know it would not be a problem. The campsite was well lit for our late arrival. Spot was perfect for overnight. The restroom was very clean!
It was definitely not a problem but the road coming into the property is not paved. It was a little muddy from all the rain. Most true campers donât care about a little mud. đ

Very private and level campsite. It was easy to find. We didn't use the hookups, so I can't comment on that, but there was good water pressure and a new modular bathroom. We were unable to get power to the bathroom but it wasn't a big deal for us.

THE Ultimate Spot

This spot is the perfect spot for privacy and space. The property is a mix of open space and trails thay loop throughout. It was the Ultimate spot for us since we have 3 dogs. I think it would be perfect for families. There is a large solar farm across the road so you occasionally hear workers outside but it is entirely quiet otherwise. We also want to give Maurice huge bonus points for being awesome. He is a great host, flexible, great communicator. We will most certainly be back even if it is just to see Maurice!

We loved that we had a peaceful space to park for the night. Spent a few hours letting our kids and dog run around and play. We would have spent much more time hanging out in this quiet corner if we weren't just passing through. It was as good as expected!

We booked this spot to escape Hurricane Milton, and it turned out to be the perfect mini vacation for me, my boyfriend, and our two dogs. The wide-open space allowed the dogs to wander freely, and I didnât have to worry about them, which is exactly what I wanted for them! The peaceful environment, combined with the beautiful surroundings, gave us the ideal getaway to relax and enjoy some quality time together. We couldnât have asked for a better place to recharge!

The land was absolutely beautiful and incredibly well maintained. Maurice cleared out an area right before I got there so that my campsite could have proper shade which was perfect with how hot it was. He also let me borrow a pop-up canopy which was awesome. There were also a lot of self made trails through the area which were nice to explore in the morning. Maurice made me feel comfortable being at the campsite by letting me know I could have all the fun I wanted as long as everything was kept clean and safe of course. I will definitely be booking again in the future and I couldn't stop recommending it to friends I talked to.

If you are looking for a quiet place surrounded by beautiful pine trees and the occasional deer or turkey make a visit, this is the place. We took our 3 pit bulls and 15yr old Yorkie and let them run and play and the space was great. We really only used the power hookup since our tanks were already full but there was a non-potable water hook-up and sewage hookup. The stars here at night were amazing, we live near Fort Lauderdale so we donât see them often enough. About a 15 minute drive to a market and within 20 some Florida state parks with Springs.

Our family recently stayed at this amazing Hipcamp spot that felt like a home away from home. The privacy was unparalleled, providing a tranquil escape. The spacious grounds offered plenty of room for activities like throwing a Frisbee, and the open area was perfect for our family dog to roam and play. Loved the privacy and easy setup. Site was great for our overnight stay, easy location to access, close to I-10. Property has all the necessary hookups plus a few amenities for a more comfy stay. Host was very responsive. No questions or issues as they prepared for everything. Will definitely be adding to our FL I-10 camp favorites!
