We recently stayed at Suwannee River Green Acres and had a great experience. The property was very private, peaceful, and exceptionally well-maintained. Everything was clean and organized, making for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The location along the Suwannee River provided beautiful scenery and a quiet atmosphere where we could truly unwind and enjoy nature. It never felt crowded, and there was plenty of space to spread out and enjoy the outdoors. If you’re looking for a clean, private getaway with easy access to the river, I highly recommend Suwannee River Green Acres. We will definitely be back! Thanks Lara

Saw some wild life: turkeys, armadillo, rabbit, squirrels, deer (does and bucks). Sits about 1 acre away from river with a good deck to fish from. The site with full hook-up had no shade. The property lock has small numbers which are difficult to see.

We really enjoyed our stay! The property is well kept and feels secluded but you’re less than 5 min from a few stores and restaurants. There’s no visual barrier between the one neighbor but they were polite and not intrusive at all. It’s a very quiet area and it was great to kick back and relax. We loved hanging out by the river and our dogs were in heaven.

Nice Spot. Easy to find. Bigger rigs should come in from the long way and host will send instructions. Fill you water tanks before arriving.

The spot was great and we enjoyed our stay. We especially enjoyed the river and fishing. . There was plenty of room for our dog to run and play. We are looking forward to returning.

On our second trip, we had an issue with the neighbors on the adjacent lot. There is a common fence between us, and the older man regularly feeds wildlife on the ground (which is against FWC regulations).
At one point, he even dared to yell at us while we were on our rented lot, presumably because our dogs scared off the deer, armadillos, and maybe some other animals his bait had attracted to his own lot. This illiterate loudmouth even went so far as to provoke our German Shepherd by barking at it. :)))
It was an unbelievable display of stupidity, lack of manners, and a reckless lack of knowledge regarding the serious issues caused by such feeding.
Additionally, the increased concentration of armadillos lured by the food meant our dogs were paying unneeded attention to them—hopefully, he and his partner don't end up attracting predators as well.
It is worth checking if this couple stays long-term in their travel trailer with the proper permits and reporting these feeding activities to the FWC.

We had a nice stay, and all the hookups worked well. There are actually three RV sites total: two with hookups (one including sewer) and a third spacious spot near the river if you are okay boondocking. A huge bonus is that the owner does not rent the other spots to anyone else—all three are yours to enjoy during your stay! Our dogs loved having such a big grassy field to run in. Plus, it’s only a 3-minute drive into Branford for any stores or supplies you might need.

We enjoyed the open space to ourselves with a river access! Our dog loved to run and the hookups were good. The water hookup ( like she said is sulphury so keep that in mind). Lara was a great host and responded quickly with anything we needed! Close to a small town and lots of activities nearby!

We love exploring by boat and the dock included with this campsite was handy for keeping our jonboat for the 3 nites. There is only one cleat on the dock so prepare to be creative with how you tie off. We used an anchor and a nearby tree. Launch ramp 2 miles away was handy and very well designed. The hosts were always available and very accommodating. The place has hook ups 2 sites located near the entrance. We don’t need hook ups and wanted to camp overlooking the river so Lara let us move the fire ring & boondock a few feet from the river. It’s a nice quiet place and we would go again.

Hasn't even been one week and we already miss the beautiful river spot at Green Acres in Branford! What a perfect place right on the Suwannee River for relaxing, fishing, swimming, bonfires, grilling, chilling out, etc! Our 2 large dogs are 12+ but we couldn't keep them out of the water, they loved getting a little swim everyday!! Maybe we'll get lucky and stay on our way home next month, lol Perfect, perfect, perfect!!! Great job Lara! As relative newcomers to the RV camping world, my wife and I were eager to return to the Suwannee River area, having enjoyed our previous experience. We stumbled upon Green Acres, and it proved to be a delightful find. Its easy access and proximity to Bradford made it a convenient base, especially since we were there during strawberry season – a local treat we wouldn't miss!
The property itself is stunning. It offers a true 'middle of nowhere' feel, providing a serene and secluded atmosphere. Green Acres offers two distinct camping options: one with power and water hookups, and another with sewer connections (requiring a longer hose). We particularly loved the breathtaking river views and the easy access to the water, even though the recent storms in Georgia meant we couldn't actually launch our kayaks.
A standout aspect of our stay was the exceptional communication with Lara. She was incredibly helpful and provided clear, comprehensive information about the property. Her responsiveness made the entire process smooth and stress-free.
For our next visit, I plan to inquire with Lara about the possibility of boondocking closer to the river with our RV. The idea of waking up to those magnificent river views is simply too tempting to resist. Green Acres offers a beautiful, peaceful, and well-managed camping experience, and we wholeheartedly recommend it to fellow nature lovers.

Beautiful patch of land. Really enjoyed how quiet it was. If you are not familiar with good old fashioned well water you may want to fill your fresh tank before arrival. Overall good experience.

Quiet seclusion next to the Suwanee

Our stay was great! Nice and quiet. The hookup spot was on the opposite side from the only neighbor. It was far from level but we sorted it out. The roads were quiet, great for long walks with our dogs. It rained on one of our days but the rain drained well (as it usually does in Florida) and left no puddles nearby.
Notes:
* We used the provided water filter but the water was nevertheless sulfury (the host did warn us that it could be when the river was high). In hindsight I should have doubled up with our filter.
* The black-water septic was between the pole-barn and power pole/stairs and was a bit of a stretch to reach.
* The lot is not entirely enclosed by fence. Near the river end of the lot there is no fencing. So heads up if you bring your dogs and one is a "runner" (as is one of ours!).
* Campfires are allowed but there is no firepit near the hook-up. We brought our own firepit though so that worked.
