Our love affair with wine began in the late ’90s, surrounded by the vineyards of Sonoma County. The tasting rooms, the people, the passion—it was contagious. Alyse found herself working for a boutique winery owned by Korbel, gaining an inside look at the magic behind the bottle. The neighborhood of this area is also one of the more safer bike friendlier places, you can ride into town along the NID trails, or set up camp and head up the 20HWY less than 20 mins to enjoy Epic Mountain Biking Trails.
Not only are we crafty, but also nature enthusiasts to feel free to reach out and ask about fun things to do here, if you are looking to stay busy exploring the nature. We also have a beautiful sunset hike that overlooks some beautiful views.
Oracle Oak Grove has a wide variety of camping options.
We have a camp grounds on the lower end of the property that currently hosts 4 different camp sites. the 3 May Pole zone, and 1 Faerie fields.
There is one shared Bonfire zone that can be used for friends camping together during the spring and late fall months when we are not in fire season.
We love hosting groups and birthday parties. Also individual campers as well.
We have two yurts available if you are more into the Glamping experience or especially if camping in the winter.
The Witches Hut and The Little Witch Hut!
The Witches Hut which is larger and can fit a family of 3 or 4.
This hut includes a patio, grill, and Private entrance.
The Little Witch Hut is smaller and more suitable for a couple or a single person wanting some solo retreat time. This one has cooking amenities accessible in an outdoor kitchen just outside the yurt. This one also gets better access to the Starlink available on the property. This yurt has the compost toilet outside and is a less than minute walk to it.
Both yurts have the ability to park fairly close to them and both are fully furnished. The Yurts are available for a higher expense than the camping of course.
We are sorry to say that Hot tub season is now closed.
We do have a wood-fired Cedar Hot tub, she is our Cauldron she is only available during winter and very early spring visits. I am sorry, but due to fire season and her being wood-fired she is not available outside hot tub season.
If you are interested in the experience it requires advanced noticed as well as an extra charge for wood, cleaning, and tending. She is a labor of love, and such a unique experience. Enjoy the smell of cedar, chlorine free waters under the stars.
Enjoy and hopefully you come and experience the Magic we have made Stewarding these acres.
PLEASE come check in before DARK. We are in a very Rural Area and it can be difficult to see a night where to park and camp. We have pathways and lights to guide, but there is a DESIGNATED parking zone and a cart available to carry your stuff to your CAMPSITE. This is not a CAR Camping spot there is ONE car camping site and the rest you is a very short walk to your site. Thank you.

The Space:
A 13 ft Bell tent is setup for you with one queen bed and one single bed inside (beds are made with sheets and comforters). The tent sits approximately 75 ft above the river with breathtaking views of the river and canyon. If you are coming with a group, there is over an acre of flat land which is perfect for any type of tent setup.
At the tent site you’ll have access to a table and chairs, lounge chairs, picnic table, gas BBQ, basketball hoop and balls, rock campfire, kayaks, and a porta potty. A short 3-minute walk away from the tent you’ll find the shore of the Bear River.
Guest access:
The tent site is only accessible by 4-wheel drive vehicles. If you do not have a 4-wheel drive vehicle there is parking for up to four vehicles at the house. The tent site is less than a quarter mile walk downhill from the house.
River access:
If you’d like to visit the river to hang out, swim, or fish you can follow the dirt road next to the tent down to the river (3-minute walk). The riverfront has lounge chairs, a picnic table, and kayak's. The riverbank has small pebbles and rocks so water shoes are highly suggested for comfort when going into the water (recommended but not needed).
Come and enjoy the views of the river, forest, and wildlife!
This is a private tent site with one other listing on the property which is located at the house. You may rarely see other guests during your stay.
Check out is at 12pm. If you or anyone in your party stays past 12:30pm you will be charged for an extra night for your full party.
For guests that come for the day but do not stay the night there is a $25 fee per guest(s).
If your vehicle gets stuck on the property and you need a tow we may be able to accommodate for a $350 tow fee per vehicle.

The neighborhood of this area is also one of the more safer bike friendlier places, you can ride into town along the NID trails, or set up camp and head up the 20HWY less than 20 mins to enjoy Epic Mountain Biking Trails.
Not only are we crafty, but also nature enthusiasts to feel free to reach out and ask about fun things to do here, if you are looking to stay busy exploring the nature. We also have a beautiful sunset hike that overlooks some beautiful views.
Oracle Oak Grove has a wide variety of camping options.
We have a camp grounds on the lower end of the property that currently hosts 4 different camp sites. the 3 May Pole zone, and 1 Faerie fields.
There is one shared Bonfire zone that can be used for friends camping together during the spring and late fall months when we are not in fire season.
We love hosting groups and birthday parties. Also individual campers as well.
We have two yurts available if you are more into the Glamping experience or especially if camping in the winter.
The Witches Hut and The Little Witch Hut!
The Witches Hut which is larger and can fit a family of 3 or 4.
This hut includes a patio, grill, and Private entrance.
The Little Witch Hut is smaller and more suitable for a couple or a single person wanting some solo retreat time. This one has cooking amenities accessible in an outdoor kitchen just outside the yurt. This one also gets better access to the Starlink available on the property. This yurt has the compost toilet outside and is a less than minute walk to it.
Both yurts have the ability to park fairly close to them and both are fully furnished. The Yurts are available for a higher expense than the camping of course.
We are sorry to say that Hot tub season is now closed.
We do have a wood-fired Cedar Hot tub, she is our Cauldron she is only available during winter and very early spring visits. I am sorry, but due to fire season and her being wood-fired she is not available outside hot tub season.
If you are interested in the experience it requires advanced noticed as well as an extra charge for wood, cleaning, and tending. She is a labor of love, and such a unique experience. Enjoy the smell of cedar, chlorine free waters under the stars.

PLEASE come check in before DARK. We are in a very Rural Area and it can be difficult to see a night where to park and camp. The Space:
A 13 ft Bell tent is setup for you with one queen bed and one single bed inside (beds are made with sheets and comforters). At the tent site you’ll have access to a table and chairs, lounge chairs, picnic table, gas BBQ, basketball hoop and balls, rock campfire, kayaks, and a porta potty. A short 3-minute walk away from the tent you’ll find the shore of the Bear River.
Guest access:
The tent site is only accessible by 4-wheel drive vehicles. If you do not have a 4-wheel drive vehicle there is parking for up to four vehicles at the house. The tent site is less than a quarter mile walk downhill from the house.
River access:
If you’d like to visit the river to hang out, swim, or fish you can follow the dirt road next to the tent down to the river (3-minute walk). The riverfront has lounge chairs, a picnic table, and kayak's. The riverbank has small pebbles and rocks so water shoes are highly suggested for comfort when going into the water (recommended but not needed).
Come and enjoy the views of the river, forest, and wildlife!
This is a private tent site with one other listing on the property which is located at the house. You may rarely see other guests during your stay.
Check out is at 12pm. If you or anyone in your party stays past 12:30pm you will be charged for an extra night for your full party.
For guests that come for the day but do not stay the night there is a $25 fee per guest(s).

This was the most fun quick getaway for our families! Exactly as described, beautifully maintained property, incredible hosts. High end blankets and towels, very clean dry flush toilet, and so many cozy seating options. My kids loved the welcome shed, and there were too many thoughtful personal touches to mention.
The location is incredible. we explored grass Valley and Nevada city, both had a great selection of well appointed shops and restaurants and were less than a 15 minute drive from the property. We can’t wait to come back in the summer!

My second time here and I booked just one day before, knowing I needed a space I could have to myself, that offered rest and “being.” Rachel and I got to meet this time, and she helped me set up for an outdoor fire, and even helped with the new hot water heater for the shower. Truly so much love is put into the bus and surrounding areas. I plan to share this place with other solo travelers, because as a solo preferred traveler, this spot is safe and the host is incredibly helpful for anything!

Chris and Rebecca’s place is the perfect gateway for relaxation and amazing views! They are also super responsive and kind. For a little extra comfort, we definitely recommend adding the little house to your stay! We love it there. Second time we visited and hope to go back again soon!

From the moment we arrived, we knew this place was special. The sweeping views and gentle quiet made it feel like a hidden retreat, yet it’s only about 11 minutes from the charming streets of Nevada City.
Our hosts, Chris and Rebecca, were warm, welcoming, and attentive. Saturday morning, our car key’s remote battery unexpectedly died. Instead of having to call an Uber or drive into town for a replacement, they cheerfully produced a spare battery—turning what could have been a stressful moment into a reminder of their thoughtful hospitality.
It’s rare to find a spot that combines natural beauty, convenience, and hosts who genuinely care, but this place has all three. We left feeling relaxed, grateful, and their thoughtfulness truly made our experience even better. Highly recommended!

Weekend Trip to Tranquillity Base Ranch
We LOVED this yurt. So peaceful and cozy. Easy to find, close to Nevada City, but feels private and secluded. The wood burning sauna and outdoor tub were great, as was the shower at the yurt. Had a great experience, and will definitely be back.

This is a beautiful spot with an amazing view of the Yuba river canyon and beyond. We slept in the Little house, it was very cozy. Chris and Rebecca are very welcoming and know the land and the area well.

What a great way to celebrate my birthday. We took two spots - one tent and one RV and as it turned out we had the place to ourselves! Lauren and Scott both stopped by to check in and we had a wonderful time. A quick walk to town for lunch and shopping and lots of quiet time on their special land.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay! The woodfired sauna and outdoor tub under the stars or just what my husband and I needed. We really enjoyed the yurt space and the bed was very comfy. We will definitely go back. Just an FYI, for people looking this is a rustic experience - compost toilet, no wifi, so if you’re looking for something a bit refined, this might not be as awesome for you as it was for us.

2 nights at Hilltop Acres Tipi Glamp Camp
Nice and quiet spot with everything you might need provided. The neighbors dog Abby greeted us every day and she was a sweetheart. The teepee was decked out in a comfy World Market boho vibe and even had a mini fridge. Oh and the sheets were the softest. Nice bathroom not far from the sight. If you are cooking at night by the bathroom, it's a bit dark. Just turn on the bathroom light and pull back the curtain, that will help. The teepee did have a smokey smell due to the fires inside, but I am sensitive to that kind of thing. Overall loved the place and would camp here again.
