Camp in the Vineyards
We had a lovely time spending two nights on the vineyard. The campsite we chose felt like it was tucked away nicely with rows of grapes on one side, a fenced off pasture where cows grazed on another, and a little pond on the third side. Oak trees around for shade. Gravel roads lead right up to the campsites, so we were able to utilize our rooftop tent on our car. Loved greeting the horses and giving the pigs our scraps from cooking our meals. There were some coyotes howling in the distance at night and sometimes dogs from nearby properties could be heard joining in, but otherwise just crickets and frogs could be heard at night.

Beautiful vineyard and lovely wine!
Everything at the camp was perfect. Clean water and flushing toilets. Wine tasting by Todd! We loved feeding the pigs, and meeting the dogs and horses. The heat was crazy and the flies were out (42c) but we survived!

Vineyard Camping
Alyse was very kind and flexible. She inquired what time I would be arriving and met me at the property to show me around. The property was quiet and very pretty with clean bathrooms and good drinking water. Plenty of places to sit with shade and a place to cook. I would definitely stay again. Thanks Alyse. Happy Mother's Day!

Most relaxing stay at the vineyards
This was our first Hipcamp and it was very nice. We stayed Thursday-Saturday and we were pretty much the only people at the Vineyard. I think that going on the weekend, there would be more going on. The tasting room was closed, so we missed out on that. We have no complaints at all. It was super relaxing and quiet. We will be back for sure.

Wine, Moonshine, Camp? YES PLEASE!
Went to do wine tasting and stayed at the vineyards to camp. I'm not a huge wine taster but my wife enjoyed the afternoon doing just that. I did however taste a few different flavors of moonshine, delicious! The camping there was great other than one thing; the tent area isn't very flat. Bathrooms, playground for children, and animals for the kids to enjoy makes it a very easy place to go back to some day. 10/10 would recommend!

We had a beautiful stay at Alyse’s vineyard! The property is unreal - we felt so lucky to be able to camp there. There was a camp spot right next to the bathrooms which was really convenient. We really enjoyed walking around the vineyard and petting the horses and dogs. We’d love to stay there again in the future and do a tasting at the Hickman Family Vineyards.

Alyse was very helpful and quick to respond. Easy to find with the instructions given. We felt very safe staying here on the property, the bathrooms were very clean, the views and farm animals were perfect.
Planning to come back the next time we are traveling in this area.

This place is truly a hidden gem! Directions were clear and Alyse is very responsive and friendly. Camping in your tent at a vineyard is such a unique California experience that you can only have on Hipcamp! Plus having a bocce ball court is a lot of fun. We will certainly be coming back again.

The campsite was beautiful and very peaceful, especially with the sunrise over the vineyard. The site was spacious and the regular toilets were a treat compared to the usual portable toilets at other campsites. We loved being able to see so many stars and hope to be back again!

Loved our stay!
We really enjoyed our stay at the vineyard! Alyse was wonderful, and made sure to be there to greet us when we arrived, and to see that we had everything we needed. My husband and I set up our camper on the cement block with water and electric hook ups. She invited us to a private wine tasting with the other two campers that were there at 5:00, which was delicious and fun! We played bocce ball and corn hole outside… tasted the grapes… fed the horses and pigs… it was a great time! I hope to come back!

Really loved our stay at the vineyard. We didn’t meet Alyse in person, but she was very responsive and quick to reply to all of our questions we had during our stay. She was very accommodating when we requested to stay an extra night. We stayed at site #1 which was set up for RVs with a cement area that we parked our car in and set up our camp stove. We pitched our tent next to the cement under a tree and had amazing views of the vines and a little pond. We met Todd for a wonderful wine tasting. Our dog loved walking around the property and looking at the animals (pigs/horses/etc). Will definitely visit again if back in the area.

Such a beautiful place to stay! Definitely enjoyed the comprehensive wine and spirit tasting while our kiddos stayed entertained on the play structure outside. Nice and dark at night for excellent sky viewing as well! We hope to make it back here again!

We had a great stay and were able to park our small Dodge ProMaster camper van right next to the vineyards. We arrived late but still enjoyed our dinner and a bottle of wine under the full June moon. Very quiet and peaceful.

Great spot to be! We did not meet the host, but Valerie was absolutely gorgeous and her incredible insider tip for dinning at „Cafe Collage“ was extremely delicious. We had the food prepared by a former chef as take out and enjoyed it on our picnic blanket with a nice bottle of wine from the Hickman Family in the middle of the vineyard. Thank you for having us there - it was amazing!

Spectacular - We'll be back
Caution first, then I'll gush: Know Your Dog. Why? Because the vinyard dogs are super sweet, social & happy greeters who will scamper over to say hello and accept an offered pet or ear rub. If your dog is (like mine) less than social (a brat), make the appropriate plans to avoid conflict. We had no conflict because my brat didn't get to make up-close introductions.
Now for the good stuff:
Alyse was phenomenal, from the "hey how do I work this tech email/message/text/app/thingie" part through site selection, wine tasting, introductions, and (yes) earthquake communication. The property is gorgeous, the animals are freindly & respond to inviting body language at the appropriate level, and the wine...I am decent with words, not great with wine-words, so I'll just say it was divine.
Alyse's tasting was 1-on-1, which alone felt so decadent, and she tailored it to my stated preferences and interests. No by-the-numbers pre-planned list of wines, not even close, she seemed to adjust on the fly based on my comments to offer me different glasses that delivered new flavors and frangrances each time. She didn't abuse common wine-lingo, or appear to either condesend or over-complicate; she just gave a nice intro, with a little history, and let the wine explain...Which it did...Understandings were reached...Bottles re-homed...
I can't wait to come back here with my husband...or adult kids...or mom...I just look forward to coming back!
