We are conveniently located off of US 101, therefore there may be some freeway noise, during commute hours especially. It has become like white noise to me, but it is only fair to mention it. We offer full hookups which consists of 50 amp & 110 volt electrical outlets, potable water, sewage dump. We also have one pigtail available (with a refundable deposit) if needed to convert 50 amp to 30 amp. We also have one place in the middle of our big vineyards with a 30 amp and water only. No sewer. Our sites are located one mile from Healdsburg plaza, the heart of Sonoma County Wine Country. Our town offers amazing wineries, fantastic restaurants, and quaint shops. It is an excellent place for wine lovers. There is a pre-prohibition winery right across the road called Foppiano. There are many other fabulous wineries are nearby. Ask the host for discount passes or complimentary tasting cards for some of the local wineries. We are in an excellent location for outdoor adventurers. There are plenty of hiking trails near by as well as bike rental shops for those who enjoy trekking, and even a couple of rafting places right here on the Russian River. We are close to places like Armstrong Woods, Safari West, Getaway Adventures, The Sonoma County Fairgrounds which hosts the Summer Country Concerts among other events, Harmony Festival, Santa Rosa Full Camp; Half Marathons Camp; 5K, Sonoma Zip-line Adventures, and Much More! When to go

Spring to fall offers the most pleasant weather in Novato. From May to September, a popular farmer’s market is held weekly. Summer also sees a series of outdoor concerts and several car races. In the fall, outdoor movies are popular. Visit in the winter to forage for mushrooms. Special family-friendly events are held near the Christmas holidays.

Know before you go

  • There is some public transportation in and around Novato, but a car will make it easier to visit other areas in the region.
  • Reservations are required for certain campgrounds, and it’s best to book ahead, especially over the summer.
  • Permits may be required for mushroom foraging and some parks do not permit it.
  • Many parts of the northern California coast are not safe for swimming and there are very few lifeguards on duty.
