Iron Quail Ranch
2 sites · RVs15 acres · Marana, AZIron Quail Ranch is a modern off-grid homestead. The ranch lays in the center of Avra Valley, Arizona on former farm and ranch land. Large farms were purchased by the city of Tucson in the 1990's to preserve and protect the large aquifer that runs beneath the valley. The land has gradually returned to its natural state of mesquites, ironwoods, cacti and natural grasses. The ranch sits beautifully positioned between Saguaro National Park and Ironwood Forest National Monument. Iron Quail Ranch is unique, in that, it contains a riparian water shed. This collection of water creates a unique micro eco-climate in the desert where an abundance of desert plants and desert animals cohabitate - like an oasis. Come join us at Iron Quail Ranch, where we are doing our best to positively coexist with nature while being able to enjoy our beautiful and rugged desert surroundings. Learn more about this land: At Iron Quail Ranch we offer you a private and secure RV campsite on 15 acres adjoining over 200,000 acres of public lands. There are unobstructed views of Saguaro National Park (West) and a private entrance to Ironwood Forest National Monument. There is abundant wildlife thriving among the riparian water shed on the property. We accept self-contained RV's only. Unfortunately, no tent/car/motorcycle camping. There is easy access to both National Park's from the property via ATV/UTV or car/truck. The level campsite can fit RV's up to 35 feet. Good cell phone reception on all major carriers at the property. A potable water and sewer dump station is available on the property. 120v electric charging stations are also available to recharge your small portable electronic devices.

La Hacienda Chuparosa
4 sites · RVs, Tents4 acres · Tucson, AZWhen my husband and I were dating in NY we confessed our mutual desire to get back "home" to the west. It made me fall in love with him even faster. So when we married we moved to Washington DC knowing that in time we would make it west. 5 years later, when the traffic and the politics has taken its toll, we made a trip to Tucson and fell in love with this charming property that exudes all the beauty and grace of the Sonoran Desert. We looked at each other as we walked around looking at the stunning Mtn. Views and the mesquite fence and knew we were finally "home." I've always adored the SW Hummingbirds and wanted to name the property La Hacienda Chuparosa. When we moved in, for the first week, every morning a hummingbird was sipping nectar from one of our plants in the front yard. We knew it was meant to be. So we added a couple of horses to our dream, built some stalls, and now are ready to welcome you to La Hacienda Chuparosa. We know you will find the same magic here that we do.

Kokopelli Gardens
4 sites · RVs, Tents5 acres · Tucson, AZWe (Tim and Victoria) moved out to our place in the desert in February 2008 along with our many plants. We have continued to grow our little farm of 4 1/2 acres to what it is today, which includes an orchard with about 50 fruit and nut trees and enclosed garden/greenhouse structures with veggies and herbs that are protected from wildlife and the elements. We have a seasonally heated pool with 3/4 wraparound deck and amazing views of the Tucson Mountains. Our property in a 160-acre neighborhood surrounded by open desert state lands. In our sustainable community/neighborhood are like minded, peaceful people who are as connected to and respectful of the land as we are. We are looking forward to hosting Hipcampers and sharing our lovely slice of heaven.

Karla's Hummingbird Rd. Guest Ranch
4 sites · RVs, Tents8 acres · Huachuca City, AZI am a riding instructor and I was a ranch manager in Sonoita for a large estate. I purchased this property in 2020 and I am working hard to turn this beautiful property into something others can also enjoy! I love living here! It's tranquil and very beautiful and quiet. Amazing sunsets and views. Quail and lots of birds all visit. I don't have dogs, the only barking you might hear is from other properties, we all have 4 acres or more, so no one is super close by. It's a safe comfortable non-creepy place for solo campers and families to enjoy. You can come here, walk or bike around, walk your pets without being bothered by other dogs. I left CA because I was burned out by constant noise.
