This serene beautiful space was a portion of a property owned by a dear friend of ours who lost his battle with cancer in early 2021.  As were his wishes, we have created various rental spaces in which we donate the proceeds to St. Jude's Children's Hospital and several local animal shelters.   Learn more about this land: Welcome to Avra Valley, a well-kept secret escape just west of Tucson, Arizona. “The Henry” campsite is surrounded by natural desert plantings as well as gorgeous Eucalyptus trees which are on a drip watering system. The private designated acre offers electrical, water and sewer hookup for a single RV. This is a beautiful desert getaway convenient located close to the Saguaro National Park, Tucson Mountain Park, Gates Pass, and the Ironwood National Forest. Some local amenities include a Speedway Gas Station, Dollar General, restaurant/bar and a general store all within a 5 minute drive. Clothing-optional enthusiasts welcome. Come disconnect and enjoy!

Booked last minute and the host Jeff was very responsive and helpful. Beautiful spot, very private and scenic with good hookups. Would stay again if I ever found myself in the area

Hidden Gem!
I'd love to say this site was awful and to stay away in order to keep this a well-hidden secret, but this spot is a true gem! It was so great to disconnect and be in such a private place. Amenities not too far away, but we tried to stay put and enjoy nature. Jeff was extremely responsive and all directions were spot on. It is on a rough dirt road and wouldn't recommend it for first time or inexperienced towers because it does take a little skill to get in and out, but well worth it! We had a 30-foot bumper pull and made it fine despite reservations from other reviews. Full hookups were a huge plus! This was our first time using HipCamp and we'll definitely be back!

Great Weekend !!!
This was one of the best sites I’ve ever been to. Electric, water and sewer hookups were perfect. The best part was the complete privacy. Of course we took advantage of the “clothing optional” note. We went during the Persiods meteor showers weekend and got to lay on the ground “naked” looking up at the sky to see the meteor shower. What a thrill !! I will definitely go back there !!

It was a good little spot to pop a tent and enjoy the peace. The sunset was pretty to watch. You are all alone in an open field, so it isn’t too scary. Very close to the national park.

Great private area. It's very hot right now, so make sure to have air conditioning. It is a clothing-optional place, which is great to shower outside. We were the only ones there and enjoyed the serenity. We had a dirt devil take out our screen room, so make sure to shade some other way, and use rocks in bags to keep shelters from flying. I would recommend it and I would come back, just in cooler weather, our unit was not sufficient to keep our skoolie cool. Full hookups and open land, great night skies, nice and cool after 6 pm, great views, not too far from amenities, you can't walk to anything, but we have it all with us. I highly recommend mid-day outdoor shower. Thank you Jeff for having amenities for fellow travelers.

Liked it!
We had a great sunset view! The area was quiet but not too far from restaurants and fuel. Felt secure because we could lock the gate. Jeff was super helpful - we accidentally went to space 2 first (wouldn’t recommend space 2 unless you have an high clearance short trailer& tow vehicle) and we had a propane leak from a careless fill and both times he was super responsive and helpful!
