Beautiful stay, the hot showers and laundry services were exactly what we needed. Super clean; the bistro hall was gorgeous and much needed after long travel. Would highly recommend if you are needing a little micro luxury on your journey.

Relaxing, beautiful, quail sing in the day, coyotes howl at night. The star view was lovely, the scenery is phenomenal, highly reccomend! The bed is so cozy, and the shower is wonderful. The decorations are so cute too!

My wife and I camped in March and could not have had a better experience. The camp sites are in a gravel yard and has all the amenities you could want. Joni, the camp host, was extremely friendly and welcoming. The campground itself is located in a little neighborhood in Patagonia and is walking distance to the town. It is also walking distance to the Paton Hummingbird center and biking distance to The Nature Conservancy and several trails. We absolutely recommend this host and we will be back!

We loved our time spent at Rocking T Ranch! Our family (myself, wife and toddler) visited for a week dry camping on Tony and Hila's property where we learned about the ranch and the local area from Tony; got the chance to feed a baby goat; and visited nearby Chiricahua National Monument! We also had the opportunity to go to a nearby farmer's market to buy some of the ranch's homemade/homegrown food. Tony's beef jerky is the best! There is water on site: artesian well water! We had strong winds and even rain during the week (the first in 8 months). It was a safe and easy place to spend a week. Thank you, Tony and Hila!

Campsites are very clean and the campground too. Instructions and Wi-Fi info were waiting for us in the box with the electric hookups. There are a variety of campsites for tenting or RVing. This was out 3rd time here, so we knew what to do! The only complaint was a neighbors dog( not in the campground) that barked constantly in the morning.

The CitiStar Gazer A-Frame was our private little oasis in the city. Enjoyed the vast poolside areas and the A-Frame was amongst the stars. Great communication with Kaia throughout our stay. Great balance of privacy and local insight information when needed!

4 nights at Sanctuary at Sonoita Creek

We absolutely hit the jackpot staying at Melanie’s amazing hipcamp. We were greeted upon arrival by Joanie, the kind and welcoming camp host, who greeted us immediately and got us settled into our RV space (full hookups). She showed us the outdoor shower, bathroom and laundry facilities (no quarters required), and even pointed out kayaks that could be checked out if we wanted to go up to the lake! We were in town to gravel ride and were not disappointed with the proximity to the trails. It was quiet, but only a short walk to town. Patagonia is known for their gravel riding, beautiful local art and birding. We came last year, but stayed at the lake. Next year, Melanie’s place will be our destination!

Weekend Trip to Sanctuary at Sonoita Creek

Super cute spot with just the right amount of amenities & quiet and a big one for me- the ability to plug in my van and recharge when my solar system was acting up. Loved being in town for walkability. I didn’t use it but the outside shower is a huge asset to have as a van camper without my own shower on board. The owner Melanie was super kind and communicative in her Hipcamp texts - I’ll definitely be back.

I then made fire pit an after that I built an outhouse its a restroom so of the guest don't know what an outhouse is we tell them it doesn't take no water to flush. After that I built a wooden fence around the whole campsite from horses a cows get into our property. So that how I started a campsite. Now our guests love our campsite a some of them came back an we have a short hiking trail to the rims to overlook the whole valleys its beautiful to take pictures from there. Learn more about this land: Guest can pitch a tent or park RV within the campsite having access to own picnic table and fire pit. The Campsite is 10-15 mins to the Valley View of the Famous Monuments and close to Navajo Tribal Park. Access to Restroom (Outhouse) within the site. Guest can request Navajo Taco Dinner with Navajo Tea for extra cost to enlighten their stay here in Beautiful Monument Valley. Guest can bring pets as well. We are pet friendly and have two well behaved dogs name spike and diamond. Also we rv size will be 25 ft long .. 30 ft. Long is going to button out on the cattle guard.

I offer 2 full hook-up spaces, one space is covered. Power is 50 AMPS! An RV must be under 12' to fit under the cover. I offer 4 dry camping options. You can book the new Tent Cabana-The Shady Rest- listing or you can dry camp by booking through my Tent and Vehicle Camping listing. There are no exact designated spaces for tent/vehicle camping. You can choose where you prefer to camp. I also have the Pool House, an indoor option with a power outlet, and it's close to the pool and restroom area. The Shady Rest is weather-proof. The other cabana has a shade fabric top and it has a fire pit. There is a restroom/breakfast room off the pool area. This is my private property, you and your gear are safe and secure. You can leave your campsite and go exploring, no one will bother your stuff. I have WiFi and great cell service here. You must arrive by dark. My gates will be closed at dark. You may have coffee with my horses if you like. There is a place to sit in the barn. They will munch hay and look at you. If you would like to feed them just ask me and I will show you what they can have. You may also sit by the arena and watch horses. Please feel free to walk around and enjoy the property! At night you will hear coyotes, you might see javilina. I've seen a bobcat a few times. There are lots of birds and some rabbits. I share it with the local wildlife. I am located just over an hour away from Tucson and 25 minutes off the 10. My place is 10 minutes from Coronado National Forest. The property is tranquil, peaceful, and quiet. We have beautiful sunsets and views all around. I supply the music, the resident Cactus Wrens, quail and assorted songbirds will sing to you all day long. You will see a lot of quail and other birds on the property. There are 2 varieties of quail who visit daily. And you will see Desert Cardinals, Cactus Wrens, Curved Billed Thrashers and all the song birds. My neighbours and I all have 4 acres minimum so no one is super close by. You can come here, walk or bike around, and walk your pets without being bothered by other dogs. This is a very safe and comfortable place for solo campers and families to enjoy! My ranch has a friendly, family-style vibe. This is staying at your friend's place. (unless your friends are losers.) Dry campers- Off the pool area there is a clean restroom in my back garage and a sink with hot water. There is a clean refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker available for your use. Each tent, and/or a place where people sleep is a campsite....in other words you can't book 1 tent camping site and then add your friends who come in their vehicle and set up a campsite. That is 2 campsites Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times when using the pool area. This included going to and from the restroom.

There is a riding academy and boarding facility adjacent to our property, and a long pleasant trail allows horseback riders, hikers and cyclists to travel along the Verde Greenway into Old Town Cottonwood, a pleasant 30 minute walk through lush riparian area. Hawks Hideaway is a family owned property, occupied by a 3rd and 4th generation, mother-son team. Two generations have lived and died here before us and we are proud to be the custodians of this majestic property, full of old growth, gigantic cottonwood trees. A birdwatcher, or naturalists dream. Hawks Hideaway is a natural and secluded spot located directly adjacent to the state-maintained Verde River Greenway. This means you may encounter wildlife and pests associated with being in such close connection to nature. Hawks Hideaway is next to many miles of wilderness. You may see or encounter wildlife of all kinds, most are harmless, some are dangerous. It is your responsibility to know the difference. Be prepared to tuck your food away and bring ample protection from the insects. You are responsible for your own safety and are camping here at you own risk. This is a volunteer post for the KAZM Signal Watch Program. We invite self-contained vanlifers to join our mission to protect and monitor critical broadcast infrastructure.
