We are a family-owned RV park and tiny home village located 50 minutes from the east entrance to Grand Canyon National Park and only 20 minutes north of Flagstaff, Arizona. Our family -- Adam, Shelley, Zoe, Ava, and Cairo -- purchased the RV park in 2021. The property was a trading post for decades but had fallen into disrepair. We have been busy painting, cleaning and improving the grounds to become a comfortable oasis for your family. Our location on US Hwy 89 on the east side of the highway is only a few miles from the breathtaking aspens of Lockett Meadow, the ruins of Wupatki National Monument and the lava flows at Sunset Crater. The park is a short drive to downtown Flagstaff, and on the way to the Grand Canyon, Monument Valley, Lake Powell, Moab and Durango. Stay the night or as long as you like! Drink in the hibiscus sunrises above the Painted Desert and relax into the long shadows of the San Francisco Peaks. First day of my campsite I start with 2 campsites then I built 1 more campsite. I then made fire pit an after that I built an outhouse its a restroom so of the guest don't know what an outhouse is we tell them it doesn't take no water to flush. After that I built a wooden fence around the whole campsite from horses a cows get into our property. So that how I started a campsite. Now our guests love our campsite a some of them came back an we have a short hiking trail to the rims to overlook the whole valleys its beautiful to take pictures from there. Learn more about this land: Guest can pitch a tent or park RV within the campsite having access to own picnic table and fire pit. The Campsite is 10-15 mins to the Valley View of the Famous Monuments and close to Navajo Tribal Park. Access to Restroom (Outhouse) within the site. Guest can request Navajo Taco Dinner with Navajo Tea for extra cost to enlighten their stay here in Beautiful Monument Valley. Guest can bring pets as well. We are pet friendly and have one well behaved dogs name spike and diamond. Also we rv size will be 25 ft long .. 30 ft. Long is going to button out on the cattle guard. We don't have hookup.

Hawks Hideaway offers 8 campsites suitable for tents of all sizes, many of which can accommodate two or more tents (additional fees may apply). We also have a large, unfurnished teepee, and are working on a cozy, furnished country cottage. (ETA Sept 25). Large trailers and RVs are NOT allowed. Nearby activities include: bird watching, hiking, river rafting or tubing, kayaking, fishing, swimming, stargazing, and rockhounding. This area conforms to the Arizona Dark Sky initiative, and while we are not dark-sky certified, we've had several guests compliment us on our beautiful skys. When it comes to rockhounding, or amateur geology, this is a fantastic area for exploration and study. We gladly welcome pets, as long as you take care of all their needs, including cleaning up any mess and filling in any holes. Well mannered, friendly dogs may be unleashed from time to time. Please, PLEASE watch your small pets carefully. If you're traveling with cats, please keep them on a lead. There is a riding academy and boarding facility adjacent to our property, and a long pleasant trail allows horseback riders, hikers and cyclists to travel along the Verde Greenway into Old Town Cottonwood, a pleasant 30 minute walk through lush riparian area. Hawks Hideaway is a family owned property, occupied by a 3rd and 4th generation, mother-son team. Two generations have lived and died here before us and we are proud to be the custodians of this majestic property, full of old growth, gigantic cottonwood trees. A birdwatcher, or naturalists dream. Hawks Hideaway is a natural and secluded spot located directly adjacent to the state-maintained Verde River Greenway. This means you may encounter wildlife and pests associated with being in such close connection to nature. Hawks Hideaway is next to many miles of wilderness. You may see or encounter wildlife of all kinds, most are harmless, some are dangerous. It is your responsibility to know the difference. Be prepared to tuck your food away and bring ample protection from the insects. You are responsible for your own safety and are camping here at you own risk. Please do not interact with any wild animals. If you encounter something and need help, please reach out to us. We live on the property and are readily available.

Enjoy the Junipers and see the stars fall over the Cedars! At 6000ft elevation the air is much cleaner and the weather is much cooler, especially in the summer time! We have plenty of space. A well house to fill up your water. There are also outdoor bathrooms, no shower yet, but working on that! We're just a short seven minute drive to the dump station at a local gas station down the road on the Deuce of Clubs and Penrod. We are 14 minutes from a large hospital, 10 minutes from major grocery stores, shopping and restaurants, and many other fun activities. Our location is in a perfect spot to enjoy the blue sky and great weather. Sunrise Ski area is a quick drive too! Pinetop Lakeside are within 10 minutes, Taylor and Snowflake are within 15 to 25 minutes. We hope you visit and continue to keep our environment clean and a chill spot to visit. We are home to a family-friendly honky-tonk, and microbrewery, now open. Please check our Instagram or Facebook @the4sbarn and @greatskycampranch_showlowaz for updates. Look out to the south and a view of Petrified Forest National Park is right there. And when you're in the park, using binoculars, you can see the campsite from Pintado Point. Just search left from the towers. A fantastic campsite built by independent outdoor company @hetchyoutdoors This is a remote, private campground with a canopy, picnic bench and fire pit that relieves you from the crowds of hotels and RV campgrounds in the area. There are no predators or threats to worry about at night, just the the most stars in the sky you've probably ever seen. Views of the National Park to the south and only a 15 minute drive to the North Gate.

We had a blast camping here! Brian was very accommodating and even chops the wood himself if you want to buy a bundle for a fire. The view was amazing and there’s an easy, short hike to the lookout point of monument valley. The outhouses were even cleaner than a lot of public restrooms I’ve been to. I would recommend to everyone!

Wonderful spot, with insane views and great host Brian and his wife, very nice and helpful couple. And don't leave from the campground without trying their Navajo Tacos... So delicious!!!

Such an awesome place! The owners are very friendly and welcomed us when we arrived. Bathrooms are very clean and the kitchens are extremely convenient. We enjoyed the hot tub as well. The location is gorgeous and the vibe is really laid back and friendly.

Yes, we have a hot tub. $5 per day fee or $12 for your stay plus a fresh towel!

Beautiful camping with wonderful owners. There is a shower, clean toilet and nice kitchenette. It's about 50 minutes from Zion National Park, but it's an easy drive. I would recommend it :)

Stopped here for the night on our way to Utah. Nice and quiet little place that has sites easy to get in and out of. Would stay here again if passing through this way!

2 nights at Rural Ranch & Petting Farm

We had such a lovely time at Holly's farm! The animals were all so friendly and sweet. Holly allowed us to meet them all. The roosters will definitely wake you up in the early am. Would highly recommend to anyone to camp here if you love animals. Holly and her daughter were so kind and answered all of our questions.
