Awesome place to stay! Quiet. Phenomenal wine and patio at vineyard. Owners super easy to communicate with and work with. Great views. Absolutely great experience.

Great site for most, but not us

The winery would be a great fit for most people. The area is very large with wonderful mountain views. While we were the only ones there, there was plenty of space so multiple campers could spread out. The spot we chose was relatively flat and needed minimal leveling. There are two picnic tables and grills. The location is great for visiting Chiricahua, as well as Chad and Monica’s winery and others in the area. Monica was very easy to communicate with. The views were beautiful, with wonderful sunrises and sunsets. There are roosters that crow in the morning.
The reason it wasn’t a great fit for us is Monica’s dogs. They were extremely friendly, but they do run free on the property. We have a dog that is not good with other dogs, and at the time we stayed there, Monica’s dogs weren’t listed in the posting. When we realized that their dogs roamed the property, Monica was extremely gracious in coordinating when her dogs would be out. Her dogs are very friendly and curious, and were right at our front door the one time we opened it. So if you have a dog that isn’t good with others, this is not a good place for you. Otherwise, I would highly recommend it.

Chad and Monica's vineyard was very peaceful and open. We were the only campers that night and it was nice to be able to let our dogs run free for a bit before turning in for the night. Our only regret is that we were too late for the wine tasting, but we know to plan better for next time. The drive to the property was beautiful with the orchards and vineyards and the sun setting on the Dos Cabezas Mountains.

Chad and Monica were great! They have a lovely vinyard and were very welcoming to our group! We were there for 4 days and loved it. We will be back for future stays. The tasting room at the vinyard was very nice. Their 2 dogs treated us like family and were extremely pleasant to have around!

The winery looked nice. Unfortunately it was closed when we arrived. Nice level spot for a trailer or RV. I misread and didn't realize there wasn't a toilet. We decided it would not work for our tent.

Loved the peace and quiet in Arizona wine country. The views and star gazing were fantastic and I had the whole place to myself. Monica was very nice and welcoming. Would definitely stay here again.

This is just what we were looking for. We are not big RV park people. We prefer to boondock when we can. This checked all the boxes for us as we are self sufficient and just need a safe place to park and sleep. We are gone all day exploring so we don't need a lot of amenities. This is no frills, but with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains, vineyards and quiet. The property owners are very nice, have 2 friendly dogs, some chickens & turkeys. RV spots are pretty level and include a picnic table and grill. For us it was perfect.

A quiet, peaceful retreat off the beaten path. Wonderful hosts, beautiful property and delicious wine. Thank you so much for your hospitality. Definitely recommend staying here with your Rv or tent camping!

We stayed one night and all was well. We were met by our host as we arrived and given instructions to the campsites. We were able to find a level site and had a quiet and peaceful night. After we set up our trailer we had dinner at Tirrito Farm. It’s about three miles away and has an excellent setting and food, definitely recommended as well.

Willcox is such a great place to visit and chad/monica's space was a great way to explore! I stayed there and enjoyed both the wine country and Chiricahua National Monument. Space is exactly as listed, so its definitely best if you're self-contained/self-resourced. And visiting the tasting room is a MUST!

Myself, my husband and our three dogs enjoyed camping on Chad/Monica's land near the vineyards. It was easy to find and we got there in time to do some wine tasting. The two turkeys came over to welcome us and checked on us periodically. Lots of history and sightseeing in the area.

The best things about the designated camping area were the views, the peace and quiet, and the walking distance to the tasting room. I didn't meet the hosts, but was greeted by Heidi, who later, was our tasting server. She was hospitable and knowledgeable about the wines. The one criticism I'll share is, the listing boasts off-leash acreage for your dog. However, the correspondence prior to the trip confirmed we had to keep our dog on leash because they had free-roaming chickens. Not a big deal, I just think the description should reflect the restriction.

We camped in a RTT close to the vines. Area was really nice, quiet and within biking distance to many vineyards/tasting rooms. Wine at Birds & Barrels was awesome. We will definitely return!

Nive views. Very quiet and easy to park the 25 ft RV. Dog loved being free to run but there are free running chickens so keep an eye on your dog.

They were VERY understanding when I arrived late (about 7:30 pm) even though they were hosting an event. Monica came to greet me and point out the camping area. Beautiful spot!

Beautiful spot to camp. It was a quick overnight stop for us, but a lucky last minute find.
Would love to go back again when the grape vines are green, and go to the tasting room during business hours.

Great place to spend a very quiet night or two in an RV, with beautiful views all around. Wine tasting an added perk! Easy access to the amazing Chiricahua National Monument and close enough to Willcox to run in for errands.

This spot was gorgeous. You are surrounded by vineyards/farm, with the view of the mountains in every direction. It’s very quiet, the nighttime stars are unbelievable, it’s gated, off the path, and we felt safe. Our daughters loved the chickens. The spot supported our 26 ‘ trailer and the ground was flat/level.

We enjoyed our stay. Due to weather issues we could not access the camping spaces, but the parking area was ok. We also hoped our dogs could be off leash as indicated on the site, but they have hens loose, so we had to keep them on leash.
