Hi, I am a city girl and he is a country boy. We talked about getting land for a long time, to start a ranch. In 2020 we did just that. We are constantly improving and expanding our ranch. Making it more enjoyable for everyone. I hope that you will come for a bit and enjoy it with us. Pet the animals and enjoy the landscape. And enjoy all the famous sights in the area. With tons of areas for bird watching, and hikes. The old western Tombstone, 30 minutes away. Benson, an hour away. and Bisbee. Dragoons, Mountains, The border. And so much more.

We enjoyed our stay here. The hosts were great and helpful. Had all the essentials for us like water and a bathroom. We liked watching the animals and how quiet it was there. Dark skies and lots of stars. Their homemade goat soap is fantastic as well.

Hila and Tony’s goat ranch is a great location for exploring the area - Tombstone and Chiricahua Monument within an hours drive. They were very welcoming - we enjoyed Tony’s daily drop in chats. It was fun watching the goats, horses, chickens and dogs.

Site 4 - Rocking T Ranch (Dry Camping)
We loved our time spent at Rocking T Ranch! Our family (myself, wife and toddler) visited for a week dry camping on Tony and Hila's property where we learned about the ranch and the local area from Tony; got the chance to feed a baby goat; and visited nearby Chiricahua National Monument! We also had the opportunity to go to a nearby farmer's market to buy some of the ranch's homemade/homegrown food. Tony's beef jerky is the best! There is water on site: artesian well water! We had strong winds and even rain during the week (the first in 8 months). It was a safe and easy place to spend a week. Thank you, Tony and Hila!

The hosts greeted us and were very friendly. Loved the fresh eggs and goat milk products for sale. Nice to have full hook up and beautiful views of the Chiricahua Mountains.

The folks are friendly and have lots of knowledge of the area. The full hookups were a huge plus. Close to several places we wanted to visit - Chiricahua NM, Whitewater Draw, and Tombstone. Not at all their fault, but we found the dusty conditions to be unpleasant. Not a great place for visiting dogs due to the guard dogs doing their jobs. Still, would recommend!

We stay at the Rocking T Ranch every year with a group of students from our Humans and the Wilderness class to see the Sandhill Crane migration. While the birds were at first the main attraction of the trip, we have come to find that staying on Tony's farm and speaking with him about his life in agriculture has become as fundamental to the overall learning experience for students. They love seeing the horses, goats, and dogs and appreciating a totally different way of life than what they're used to in Paradise Valley.

A perfect location for our birding daytrips in the area. We found the site clean and level with the full hookups available as promised. Clear directions to enter the ranch. Enjoyed viewing animals on site, most especially the horses. I love horses and Tony shared stories about each one. This greatly enhanced my appreciation and enjoyment of them.

I had an amazing experience with this camp host! They were incredibly friendly and easy to talk to, making me feel right at home. They went above and beyond by providing helpful information about my crane hunt and even offering decoys at the last minute without me having to ask. While I was out, they noticed a leak in my water line and took the initiative to shut off the water to prevent any damage. Their attentiveness and kindness truly made my stay exceptional. Highly recommend this host!

My husband and I just bought a camper and the trip was our trial run. Hila & Tony made the experience so much easier. We arrived in the evening and Tony met us to show where everything was. It is a ranch so seeing the goats, horses and dogs and learning about them was a real treat. I bought fresh eggs that were wonderful. The best part was waking up the beautiful sunrise over the mountains. It was perfect and we will be back.

Rocking T was a perfect location for our Southern Arizona getaway. Proximity to Bisbee, Tombstone and Chiricahua National Monument made it easy to enjoy the area. Everything at the site was as described and worked flawlessly! Would recommend and we will returrn

I really enjoyed my stay in this ranch and I would have definitely stayed longer but it was only a one-day stop before heading to a different place. Tony was really welcoming, it was great to talk with him! I was the only camper and I felt super safe there. Thanks for sharing your lands with campers!

Tony is a great host! We enjoyed visiting with him. The location is perfect for visiting Tombstone, Whitewater draw (birding) and local wineries. It’s a working farm so keep in mind that there are a lot of working dogs in this farm. They bark a lot, but are behind fences so no worries about interacting with them. There are also coyotes you’ll hear at night. The farm is on the main road so keep that in mind if you’re sensitive to noise. It didn’t bother us at all and the beautiful night skies were gorgeous!

Hilda and Tony were friendly and helpful. I enjoyed seeing their chickens, goats and horses. The bathhouse was spacious and had a microwave. The water was not working at the sink, so they had hand sanitizer available. We were happy that they allowed dogs. There are farms all around and my only complaint is that there was a loud generator at a nearby farm that ran all night. It wasn't as noticeable the second night because the "white noise" of our heater drowned it out.

Hila and Tony were always readily available and happy to talk to us! We had a good time on their land and enjoyed the view of the surrounding mountains. The well water was cool and clean. The animals on the ranch were fun to see each time we arrived back at the site. Thanks for having us!

What a wonderful place to stay. Tony our host is a real cowboy. He has lots of interesting stories and a big heart to boot. If you enjoy animals, this is the place for you. Beautiful horses, cute goats, lot of dogs and big healthy chickens. The electricity, sewer and water hookups were great. We had lovely mountain views. We really enjoyed ourselves and would definitely come back.

We really enjoyed camping at Rocking T Ranch. The Sandhill Cranes flew over in the morning and evening. It was so close to Bisbee, AZ a town we enjoy visiting. Tony and Hila were great hosts. Loved it there.

Excellent location for exploring the area and the camping cottage with a microwave and water/flush toilet was really nice. Tent sites have great views but no shelter, which can be a challenge in fierce winds.

In an area of Arizona where there is lots of land, but not lots of camping land, we are very appreciative of hosts like Hila and Tony opening up their property to campers. Their property is very easy to access from the main highway, and was on the very quiet. We appreciated use of their toilets and thought the little sharing library was very cute!

This was our second trip to Hila and Tony’s and it won’t be our last! The location can’t be beat. This time we got to see the Sandhill Cranes at the wildlife area 15 minutes from their place . Bissbee is 30 minutes away and it’s a great place to spend a day. At the end of it Rocking T is a great base camp for a beautiful part of Arizona.
