This is a quiet, rural neighborhood and a peaceful farm that borders the National Forest for easy hiking and few neighbors. The farm animals do cluck, crow, whinny, neigh, baa, bleat, squeal, and oink at various times, including early morning.
There is one mile of a somewhat bumpy gravel road with hills to reach our neighborhood, so please make sure you are ready for that and have adequate towing power. The nearest services and dining are 5 minutes away. We are about 25-30 minutes to Sedona, the Village of Oak Creek,
and the popular red rock hiking sites. There are many wineries and dining right down the road to enjoy.

If you want to bring a properly raised young person you can make your case to me and I will consider.
I offer 2 full hook-up spaces, one space is covered. Power is 50 AMPS! An RV must be under 12' to fit under the covered space.
I offer 4 dry camping options. You can book the Tent Cabana-The Shady Rest- listing or you can dry camp by booking through my Tent and Vehicle Camping listing. There are no exact designated spaces for tent/vehicle camping. You can choose where you prefer to camp. An extra vehicle is OK as long as it's part of your one campsite. 2 groups with 2 camp vehicles is 2 campsites.
I also have the Pool House, an indoor option with a power outlet, and it's close to the pool and restroom area. You can set up your bed or rent a full size bed which I will set up for you.
This is my private property, you and your gear are safe and secure. You can leave your campsite and go exploring, no one will bother your stuff.
I have WiFi and great cell service here. Please arrive by 8pm unless arrangements are made in advance. I meet with you and show you around.
I will greet you and show you around. I close my gates at dark. Once you are here you may come and go as you please.
I am located just over an hour away from Tucson and 25 minutes off the 10.
Dry campers- Off the pool area there is a clean restroom in my back garage and a sink with hot water. There is a breakfast room with clean refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker available for your use. Lots of local birds visit daily. You are welcome to visit and pet my horses and donkeys!

Tons of activities will keep you occupied, including hiking and biking on the nearby Arizona Trail (just 1/2 mile away), or even sledding on your very own private 2 acre piece of paradise! What's even better is the property backs onto the National Forest, for unlimited enjoyment of nature. In the evening crack open a book, or start playing a game with your besties to close out a long day. The property is completely off the grid, making it very appealing to those travelers and adventurers who want to create a minimal carbon footprint on their vacation. The kitchen sink has a hand pump that draws water from under the sink from a 10 gallon water jug. You can refill the jug as needed from a hand pump located in the back yard. There is solar powered lighting and a USB phone charger station. There is no electrical power available. Cell service is available in the area depending on your carrier. The outdoor composting toilet is super clean with little or no odor. The cabin is located at 8200' in the San Francisco Peaks in the pines and aspens. Snowshoe or cross country ski, go sledding or snowmobiling, or just good old fashioned relaxation will make the time fly by. During a snowy period, access may require either cross country skiing, snowshoeing or snowmobiling to the property from the main highway (approx 2.1 miles). If you get stuck on the road it will be your own responsibility. Please check with the owner a couple days prior to your visit to check on road conditions during the winter!

I offer 4 dry camping options. You can book the Tent Cabana-The Shady Rest- listing or you can dry camp by booking through my Tent and Vehicle Camping listing. There are no exact designated spaces for tent/vehicle camping. You can choose where you prefer to camp. An extra vehicle is OK as long as it's part of your one campsite. 2 groups with 2 camp vehicles is 2 campsites.
I also have the Pool House, an indoor option with a power outlet, and it's close to the pool and restroom area. You can set up your bed or rent a full size bed which I will set up for you.
This is my private property, you and your gear are safe and secure. You can leave your campsite and go exploring, no one will bother your stuff.
I have WiFi and great cell service here. Please arrive by 8pm unless arrangements are made in advance. I meet with you and show you around.
I will greet you and show you around. I close my gates at dark. Once you are here you may come and go as you please.
I am located just over an hour away from Tucson and 25 minutes off the 10.

Each Cabin is fully equipped (hot water/basic appliances/kitchen/bathroom/dishes) as an Adventure base during your stay providing a comfortable, cozy and unique location for couples or small groups to enjoy while adventuring and creating memories in the area. We provide various suggestions on local activities for our guests to enjoy as well as helpful tips to get the most out of their stay. This park offers rugged desert mountains, colorful canyons, and the Colorado River. Keep an eye out for beavertail cactus, wild burros, the famous bighorn sheep and thousands of migratory birds. Hike through the mountains to see great views from above. Dip your line in the Colorado River to catch your dinner.

Close to the Grand Canyon! Just 1/2 mile off the Arizona Trail! Hike 6 miles to Snowbowl. This darling camper cabin has one bedroom with a queen sized bed (2 guests), and two pull out couches for up to four additional guests. The well stocked kitchen has all the cookware and utensils you'll need for cooking, a propane range, as well as a cooler for your use (bring ice). A gas barbecue is on site as well. The wood stove kicks out a ton of heat to keep you toasty while you sip on steamy hot chocolate that is provided for your enjoyment. Gather around the propane operated firepit in the backyard for some R&R. Bring a hammock 'cuz there are unlimited opportunities for stringing one up! Tons of activities will keep you occupied, including hiking and biking on the nearby Arizona Trail (just 1/2 mile away), or even sledding on your very own private 2 acre piece of paradise! What's even better is the property backs onto the National Forest, for unlimited enjoyment of nature. In the evening crack open a book, or start playing a game with your besties to close out a long day. The property is completely off the grid, making it very appealing to those travelers and adventurers who want to create a minimal carbon footprint on their vacation. The kitchen sink has a hand pump that draws water from under the sink from a 10 gallon water jug. You can refill the jug as needed from a hand pump located in the back yard. There is solar powered lighting and a USB phone charger station. There is no electrical power available. Cell service is available in the area depending on your carrier. The outdoor composting toilet is super clean with little or no odor. The cabin is located at 8200' in the San Francisco Peaks in the pines and aspens. Snowshoe or cross country ski, go sledding or snowmobiling, or just good old fashioned relaxation will make the time fly by. During winter you MUST have a 4WD vehicle to access the property, particularly if there has been a significant snowfall recently. During a snowy period, access may require either cross country skiing, snowshoeing or snowmobiling to the property from the main highway (approx 2.1 miles). If you get stuck on the road it will be your own responsibility. Please check with the owner a couple days prior to your visit to check on road conditions during the winter!
Pets must be well behaved and cleaned up after, including excessive animal hair. Leash laws apply to Coconino National Forest. Please do not book the Glamper Cabin if you plan to bring a pet which is known to be aggressive or unpredictable in nature, including breeds or mixed breeds such as pitbulls, rottweilers, bullmastiff and American Bulldog. We stayed at Yuma’s Own Little Campland for a week on our annual trip south to visit friends.
I found the spot while searching facilities in Yuma that could accommodate our needs, largely a place to land at night to sleep as the rest of the time we were seeing the sights with our many "snowbird" friends there.
Campland filled that need perfectly at a very fair price. It was clean and well maintained. The included access to a washing machine was a nice bonus! Keith and Shirley could not have been nicer to work with and their seasonal residents spoke very highly of them.
We appreciate the stay folks, and will be sure to look you up should we come down again next year!

Such a perfect stay! The cabin is perfect size for two people and the hot tub was perfect as well. There’s bamboo outside that helps with the privacy which is very nice! The location puts you out in nature but also very close to downtown Cottonwood which was a blast to visit! We will for sure be back!

Karls'a place is a patch of heaven! The detail and thought she has placed into this property if second to none. We arrived early in the day (her early in the day check-in time is a realy nice plus) and we got settled in pretty quick. It was lovely spending time with the animals such a relaxing atmosphere.
We thought we had seen it all, then night was upon us and Karla's property was that of magic. It was stunning, the lights and beauty, honeslty at every turn on the property. Not to mention the amazing AZ night sky!
Karla has stunning attention to detail and her heart has been placed into this patch of heaven in Southern AZ! I would highly recommend this Hipcamp, a truly amazing place to stay!

Great camp location with easy access to conveniences while still being close to trails, countryside, mountains, and great hiking. The camp is professionally run, and it shows — the host has truly thought of everything to make the stay comfortable and easy.
We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and the friendly goats, and the free-range chickens were the most well-mannered we’ve ever seen — present but never intrusive.
A relaxing, well-organized spot that we’d absolutely stay at again. Highly recommended.

First time booking anything like this so I wasn’t sure what to expect. Start to finish it was amazing. Gary greeted us at the gate even as we got turned around from a flooded road (which he’d advised us of but I just didn’t read carefully lol) and showed us around all the amenities at the camp site. You could practically show up in your car with just your change of clothes, there’s everything you can think of. Gary and Darren were always available accommodating for the cold snap, and our incessant need for firewood. The paddle boarding was really fun and the rest of the site was beautiful. It didn’t feel like a hotel it felt like you were crashing at your friends place it was such a warm and welcoming environment and very relaxing.

Toni & Karl’s property was safe, clean, and FUN. Wish I was in more of a social mood when I arrived, but I was ready for bed!
There was a little something for everyone. They had Dirty Dancing projecting onto the wall over their pool when I visited & a few tables of smiling faces.
I was worried about finding a spot to rest my head with the annual Tucson rock & gem show being in town, but Toni & Karl pulled through for me last minute. I arrived in just a SUV, and they made room for me. Very kind & welcoming! 10/10 recommend!

Karla is an exemplary host, so helpful and available for all our questions. Hummingbird ranch has all the amenities we needed for our RV. Getting to visit the horses and donkeys was an added benefit. We were able to identify 14 species of birds in February with our Merlin app. We were the only visitors during our stay which made our stay even more memorable. Karla has gone above and beyond with her artistic landscaping throughout her property. We’ll definitely stay again and highly recommend Karla’s Hummingbird Ranch for RV’s or camping!

Very quiet, very remote, just what I was wanting. I liked that the gate to the area I was staying was locked all the time. I was given the code to come and go. There was a fire pit and a camp toilet at the site. They even had some wood available, but I never lit a fire. It was a very pleasant three day stay.
