Great location for bird nerds.
Awesome place to camp for birders. We arrived on a Saturday and left on the following Monday. We were able to pack in a lot of activities in the short time we spent there. The Patton center is walking/cycling distance and an awesome place to bird watch. The Patagonia Sonora Creek preserve is about 1.5 miles and another awesome bird spot. In the evenings we hung out down the street at the Wagon Wheel Saloon. Also plenty of restaurants walking distance from the camp. The bathroom and outdoor shower were immaculate. The host and neighbor campers were also nice and quiet.

Truly a Sanctuary!
We loved staying here! The location was amazing… a short walk to a hummingbird sanctuary and several great day hikes. So many birds! Also a quick walk to dining and groceries. The whole area was well maintained, the bathroom was nice and clean, and my husband enjoyed the outside shower. Melanie was very accommodating regarding our check out time, making it possible for us to complete a passage of the AZT before leaving. Highly recommend!

I enjoyed the community feeling of this HipCamp with 5 closely spaced sites located in a residential neighbor on the desert’s edge yet walking distance to town. All our needs were met. Walking distance to the Hummingbird Center too.

Enjoyed my stay at Anna at Sanctuary at Sonoita Creek. Nice location walking distance to town. Quiet and peaceful. Loved having laundry facilities on sight. Large site with parking space for my toad. Would definitely stay again.
