Mountain View Camp - Sacred Springs
What a beautiful spot! Gary and Daren have thought of everything. We appreciated the hot shower, all the amenities in the community area, and the gorgeous view over the creek in the morning. Highly recommend this spot, we would love to come back the next time we're in Arizona.

We had a lovely stay at Gary and Daren’s! The views were lovely, and there were lots of little nature walks around the area which were peaceful and quaint. The facilities were great! Hot showers, and a nice little common room with cooking facilities, water, towels, dishes, coffee, etc. Gary was very welcoming and accommodating. There’s lots of attention to detail and love invested in this space! We would definitely stay here again!

I can’t say enough good things about our experience at sacred Springs. But before I get to the property, let me tell you about the hosts. We had first planned on going to the property a month ago and had some serious car troubles that made that journey impossible.
I’m pretty cynical, so typically anywhere that I’ve paid some amount of money to put a deposit down and circumstances have come up that impacted our ability to get somewhere ,not the place we were going, I usually just consider the deposit given as a loss. Never to be see again. “ thanks for playing, but sorry we have to keep your money because we are uncaring un-empathetic, greedy bastards.” That was not even remotely close to the experience we had BEFORE even making it there.
We reached out to inform Gary and Darrell that we would be unable to make it, sadly but would be looking forward to coming in the future. These remarkable gentlemen who were so kind throughout the entire communication process before we even booked, continued this kindness and added empathy and sympathy for our situation. Still emailing and talking to us while we were in the midst of a horrific experience with our vehicle, not near our home and dealing with the costs and every other negative you could have.
These two were like a ray of sunshine. Their gracious and sincere words in the emails and their hospitality and generosity is like nothing I’ve seen in years… decades even.
They refunded us and offered a complimentary stay.

Beautiful, well-maintained property overlooking I-17. My wife and I only stayed for a short time, but it was great! There was a hot shower and a flush toilet, which was a savior considering that our campervan's toilet wasn't working (don't rent a van from IndieCampers). There were a bunch of other amenities provided as well, and Gary was super nice and welcoming.
The ONLY thing I think could be improved is that my tired brain could not figure out which direction to turn the faucet in the shower for hot water, but that was mostly my fault 😁

Mountain View Camp - Sacred Springs
Our group of 4 absolutely loved this beautiful campsite for its scenic views, spacious site, and fun trail that led down to the creek. We were happily surprised by all of the paddle boards and kayaks readily available for us to use as a group of 4 to explore the water and gorgeous fall colors!
Gary is hands down the best host with how attentive, caring, and kind he was to us. My husband and I didn’t have the best sleeping bags for the 40-degree nights, so Gary was kind enough to let us borrow 2 sleeping bags that allowed us to sleep so much better the second night of our stay. We cannot wait to come back to Sacred Springs again soon!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Sacred Springs. Gary and Daren have created a very special place with great energy. You can tell they love this place and want their guests to enjoy it as much as they do.
They are happy to make recommendations for great hikes and adventures in the local area or you can just hang out and swim, kayak or paddle board in their beautiful creek front riparian area.
My only concern was the proximity to the freeway and the noise associated with it. But I can honestly say that it didn’t bother me or keep me up at all. If anything it was a nice reminder to be grateful that I was chillin’ at Sacred Springs rather than out there on the roads.
I am already looking forward to my next visit to the area, and staying again at Sacred Springs.

Our stay at Sacred Spring was absolutely wonderful! From the very beginning, our hosts Gary and Daren were exceptional — incredibly kind, thoughtful, and great communicators both before and during our visit. They went above and beyond to help us celebrate my birthday weekend with family, making extra accommodations that made the trip feel truly special.
The property itself is magical. The sunsets were breathtaking, the land peaceful and full of beauty. We loved exploring the hike down to the canyon and creek — it felt like a hidden paradise. The paddle boards and kayak added so much fun to our days, and every part of the stay felt relaxing and rejuvenating.
You can tell Gary and Daren pour their hearts into this place. It’s the perfect mix of comfort, adventure, and serenity. We can’t wait to come back! 🌿✨

Love love love!! This was one of the best campsites I’ve managed to stay at during my travels. Lovely hosts, great bathroom with overhead shower, clean toilets, a super cool communal room with coffee and cooled water cooler, along with cooking materials for the onsite grill. Lots of cool trails, fauna and flora plus tons of hummingbirds and other wildlife to see. The creek was pretty and everything was very peaceful and quiet. The gravel roads to get there were totally worth every minute. Thanks so much Gary and Daren! I’ll be back here next time I’m in Sedona 🩷

Gary and Daren are living their dream and it shows in every detail. The bathroom and showers were clean and stocked, the coffee selection was outstanding, they have everything you need to good a good meal and we even told him the ladder golf needed fixing and he had it fixed within hours. I literally didn’t want to leave. It’s an absolutely magical here and I feel grateful I was able to experience all this beauty. Also the creek was beautiful and refreshing! We’ll definitely be back!

Cliffside Camp - Sacred Springs
We had a blast at Secret Springs, lovely maintained land and tons of amenities. We came from a long hike in Grand Canyon and got fully recharged on the land of Gary and Daren. Next morning we had tons of fun in the creek with the canoes and the natural water swimming. Highly recommended stay!

Gary and Darren were phenomenal hosts. The campsite is amazing and I couldn’t recommend more. We ran into some trouble with the heavy rain and Gary went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. There’s a reason they have so many great reviews. We WILL be coming back!

Such a great experience. Bought some fresh eggs from the chickens for breakfast. Saw some otter prints down by the grotto. Jumped in the water in the morning and it was super cool and refreshing

Gary and Daren are the absolute definition of hospitable! Between the amenities of the community room (aka anything and everything you would need to cook a meal) and the thoughtful layout of the campsites, we immediately felt at home. Likewise, the beauty and tranquility of the creek/grotto was beyond our expectations. We already can’t wait for our next visit to Sacred Springs! Thank you both!

Gary and Daren have made Sacred Springs a really enjoyable place to stay. They were extremely helpful during our stay, and there are several trails and different areas of creek that provide a lot to relax and explore. Would love to visit again in the future!

What an incredible stay at the eagle eye! The whole property is incredible and I’d recommend it for tent camping too. The hosts are awesome, the Eagle eye itself was super unique and comfy, and I definitely recommend using the trails. After a heavy rain there were otters in the creek :) Easily the best hipcamp I’ve stayed at.

Gary & Daren have a great retreat and have built it out nicely with all of the amenities. Great views, swimming in the creek was great and have a lot to offer in general. Highway noise can be a bit much for us personally but in general they have put a lot of love into the property and super nice hosts.

We loved our stay at Cliffside Camp! Perched above Wet Beaver Creek, the site had breathtaking views of the cliffs, grotto, and water below. Our camper van fit perfectly, and we appreciated the picnic table and fire pit with chairs… it made the evening so cozy.
Gary and Daren were warm and welcoming, and the amenities were excellent, from the outdoor solar shower to the clean restrooms and community spaces. This was our second night at Sacred Springs (our first was at Eagle Eye), and both spots felt thoughtfully designed and cared for.
Highly recommend this beautiful property for anyone looking for a peaceful, scenic stay with a perfect mix of comfort and nature.🌵🪄

I loved camping here! The amenities were so nice and their property is dreamy. We could’ve spent the entire day on their property exploring and enjoying the views. Plus they had a solar shower that was quite lovely. Couldn’t recommend staying here enough! Clean, and so nice!

We stayed at Sacred Springs – Eagle Eye on our Sedona road trip, and it was such a special experience. Eagle Eye itself is a cozy sauna converted into a bedroom, overlooking the beautiful Montezuma Lake — the view alone is worth it! ✨
The grounds were incredibly well thought out, with unique little campsites spread throughout, each cared for with so much intention. Everything was very clean and well maintained, and the lighting around the property made it feel both safe and magical at night.
The shared amenities were excellent — from the community room with a fridge, to the solar shower, regular shower, and clean bathrooms (such a gift after a long day of hiking in Sedona!).
The hosts were warm and welcoming, and you could tell how much love has been put into this place. It was about a 45-minute drive for us to get into Sedona, which was perfect since we got both the quiet lakeside retreat and easy access to all the red rock adventures.
Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for something serene, beautiful, and thoughtfully created. 🌿

This will be a long one, short version is-creek is amazing, beautiful views, and a very clean restroom.
We had an amazing time at Sacred Springs. Gary and Daren are awesome and greeted us when we arrived and showed us to the Cliffside campsite. After parking they showed us around the property. Lots of areas of relax, some outdoor games, like horseshoes and corn hole. There is a community room with an area to prepare food, a small refrigerator for each campsite, towels to use, a grill just outside of it and a bunch more conveniences. After getting camp setup we hiked down to enjoy the creek. Paths are well marked and the wanter was great. jumped on a couple of the kayaks and paddled across to check out the grotto, really cool area to relax. We then followed the path over to the lazy rive area and floated in the shade of the trees. When we got back up by camp we had a few sprinkles of rain so we sat in the covered area by the restroom and shower (there is an outdoor and indoor shower). After the clouds passed we enjoyed the dramatic sunset by the campsite with a fire. No wood burning because of fire restrictions, but they have propane fire pits that you can rent There are a lot of hummingbirds around the feeders on the property. Had some nice conversation with Gary and Daren after packing up the campsite. I'm sure I forgot something about this unique property. There is a lot to do and it even neighbors the wolf sanctuary and Montezumas Well which you could plan a visit to.

The whole experience was amazing! The hospitality was above and beyond. They literally thought of everything we could want or need. They greeted us upon arrival and made sure we knew all the amenities. It is resort style camping in a beautiful setting.

These guys are FANTASTIC* hosts! The land is beautiful. They've added some new activities for the campers. Brand new bathroom and seperate shower room. The other campers I've met on my two stays (now to be an annual destination for me, to watch the Perseid meteor showers) are very cool people... I'm hooked!!

We loved tent camping at Sacred Springs! The water area helped our escape from Phoenix heat! Lots of places to sit, enjoy the birds, and relax.
A life saver was the community room when we realized our cooler was too small to fit what we had bought to make for dinner!
I adored the chickens, the hosts were so friendly, and i appreciated the cleanliness of the entirety of the camp site.
I would recommend this to couples, families, and those looking for a place to rewind.
