Camp Saguaro is nestled in a unique and rural area on the west side of Tucson, Arizona. With the Saguaro National Park Visitor Center, Tucson Mountain Park, and Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum all within four miles, there is plenty of opportunity to explore the outdoors. Tucson Mountain Park and Saguaro National Park boast hundreds of miles of hiking trails, and non-motorized mountain bikes are permitted on the trails in Tucson Mountain Park. Let us be your base camp for desert exploration whether it's hiking, riding, birdwatching, and learning. Come to Camp Saguaro and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the desert. Our friendly hosts can help you plan a great day, some of them even have their Certified Tourism Amabssador credentials. Please note: We are tobacco-free, medicinal herbs are legal and ok as long as children are not around.
What to expect:
We are in a rural neighborhood where most parcels are 1-3 acres, we have seven acres. It's quiet around here but along with the natural sounds of the desert like yipping coyotes, and woodpeckers pecking, you may hear a horse, dog, or chicken. While we are on the outskirts of Tucson, we are not completely remote.
We have carved our sites out of the natural layout of the desert. There are many kinds of cactus in our area in addition to the magnificent Saguaro, and uneven areas when walking. We keep it as natural as possible.
We have a small "Mercantile" on property. This is our office, but we also have items you may have forgotten, and souvenirs made by local artists. Also available is firewood, and ice is for sale for your convenience. We have a small Laundry Shack (two washers, two dryers) 2.00 wash/2.00 dry. You'll need cash for these things, we do not take any other form of payment at this time.
Camp Saguaro is tobacco-free.

We have an onsite Brewery and restaurant, open seasonally to guests and to the public. High Tanks Brewing Co is open November-April, Thu-Sun. First day of my campsite I start with 2 campsites then I built 1 more campsite. I then made fire pit an after that I built an outhouse its a restroom so of the guest don't know what an outhouse is we tell them it doesn't take no water to flush. After that I built a wooden fence around the whole campsite from horses a cows get into our property. So that how I started a campsite. Now our guests love our campsite a some of them came back an we have a short hiking trail to the rims to overlook the whole valleys its beautiful to take pictures from there.

Guest can pitch a tent or park RV within the campsite having access to own picnic table and fire pit. The Campsite is 10-15 mins to the Valley View of the Famous Monuments and close to Navajo Tribal Park. Access to Restroom (Outhouse) within the site. Guest can request Navajo Taco Dinner with Navajo Tea for extra cost to enlighten their stay here in Beautiful Monument Valley. Guest can bring pets as well. We are pet friendly and have one well behaved dogs name spike and diamond. Also we rv size will be 25 ft long .. 30 ft. Long is going to button out on the cattle guard. We don't have hookup.

Our four acre property has a small guest studio and two dry campsites. Belmont Road is a mile long dirt road, but passable with any car or bicycle. Our lot is four acres. We live in a one acre fenced corner including the guest casita, leaving about 2.5 acres for the campsites. The area is considered suburban ranch, so other homes on other 3-4 acre lots are visible.
Our land abuts Saguaro National Park West, 1/4 mile past the Belmont Trailhead. It is the only camping area on the readily accessible eastern side of Saguaro NP's west unit.

We have an 80-acre Organic Medjool Date farm located at the base of the Gila Mountains in Wellton, AZ. We are a bit off the beaten path but once you get here it's so worth the drive. The star gazing is amazing and if you like off-roading there are trails everywhere out here!
We have an onsite Brewery and restaurant, open seasonally to guests and to the public. High Tanks Brewing Co is open November-April, Thu-Sun. Throughout this season we offer many fun things to do such as farm tours, live music, cornhole tournaments, yoga, farm-to-table style dinners, and much more. First day of my campsite I start with 2 campsites then I built 1 more campsite. I then made fire pit an after that I built an outhouse its a restroom so of the guest don't know what an outhouse is we tell them it doesn't take no water to flush. After that I built a wooden fence around the whole campsite from horses a cows get into our property. So that how I started a campsite. Now our guests love our campsite a some of them came back an we have a short hiking trail to the rims to overlook the whole valleys its beautiful to take pictures from there.

We are pet friendly and have one well behaved dogs name spike and diamond. Also we rv size will be 25 ft long .. 30 ft. Long is going to button out on the cattle guard. We don't have hookup.

Our four acre property has a small guest studio and two dry campsites. Belmont Road is a mile long dirt road, but passable with any car or bicycle. Our lot is four acres. This was probably the nicest/cleanest/well maintained camp site I’ve ever been to. The camp hosts were super friendly and informative. I did a little shopping at the Mercantile and loved the handcrafted goods that were available there. My friend and I plan to go back when we can. We stayed in the Magic mushroom and i felt like a kid again! It was comfortable and clean and had two stories. One you have to get to via a log ladder on the outside. I liked being able to lock the door when I left as well. I felt like they thought of pretty much everything. Nice hot showers, a clean communal sink. Another sink for dishes and even a charging station in the common area. There were fun games and I even heard some horses off in the distance at one point. Definitely heard lots of coyotes at night which was super cool. 10/10 would recommend and look forward to returning in the future. Oh and the mushroom comfortably slept me and my partner on the bottom with a small blow up mattress and my friend was able to sleep on the top.

I truly can’t not say a single negative thing or anything even slightly off about my experience here!
The campsite itself is perfectly organized, making each site feel so private. The shared facilities were perfect, large kitchen sink and counters for washing dishes, two bathroom sinks for washing hands/getting ready, 2 shower stalls with HOT water (self-control temp ofc), and 2 toilet stalls. Perfect!
Also, this is your sign to bring cash! 💵
The mercantile is adorable, with locally crafted goods and freshly baked delicious sourdough. The team who runs this place is so nice, you’ll likely see them and their new family member 🐾 walking around the campsite.
Honestly, this place is 10/10 - and it’s a short drive to the (West) Saguaro Nat Park 🌵 where you can hike or visit the museum.

Cute place, clean, surrounded by lovely laid back people. Love the dog policy; not so strictly or condescendingly worded. Neighbors are close, but people were respectful and my dogs were able to mingle with the neighbor's (with consent). Spent NYE 2025 here. Stayed in Yippy Coyote and heard some coyotes yipping! :)
