Humming Bird Campsite
A campsite in the middle of the monument valley. Fantastic feeling with these huge Montaigne surrounding. And Brian was very nice to come to show us the right road.

We absolutely loved our experience at the campsite and with our host, Brian. When my group booked the site, we were uncertain about what to expect, but Brian promptly answered our questions via text, which reassured us. Sunset welcomed us. Brian and his family were polite and accommodating. The facilities were well-maintained, with a great showering area, although the toilets could be improved. There was convenient RV parking too. Overall, it exceeded our expectations and provided us with a memorable stay. (You can enjoy stargazing, sunset, sunrise and views around you too.) Go for it!

Our favorite place in near Monument Valley. Great family, we always feel welcomed and will return wheneve we’re in the area. The sunsets and stars are hard to beat. There’s was an impromptu fireworks display the night we stayed, the kids enjoyed it. There’s also a hike to a scenic overlook of the valley.

Beautiful Camping Spot!
We had a great night camping here! Brian was friendly and accommodating when he greeted us and otherwise left us to ourselves. The area is stunningly beautiful, the sunset was amazing, and a group of friendly local dogs joined us on the hike (or led us) to an amazing private viewpoint over monument valley. The stargazing was truly great, it was quiet, safe, the toilet was clean, I recommend camping here if you get the chance!

The campsite is right in the middle of MV. The views are 360 and incredible. Couldn’t have asked for a better spot!
Be aware that there is A LOT of sand. No pavement, no grass. Just sand. And of course tons of flies! Just comes with the land, oh well.
The shower was spacious and good, although the water heater wasn’t working during our stay. Not a problem since it was so hot out in July and the cold shower was welcome. The bathroom outhouse was very clean and nice.
I do wish our hosts had been more social and communicative. We opted in for the Navajo taco and tea dinner which was incredible.
Overall, we plan on returning!
