First day of my campsite I start with 2 campsites then I built 1 more campsite. I then made fire pit an after that I built an outhouse its a restroom so of the guest don't know what an outhouse is we tell them it doesn't take no water to flush. After that I built a wooden fence around the whole campsite from horses a cows get into our property. So that how I started a campsite. Now our guests love our campsite a some of them came back an we have a short hiking trail to the rims to overlook the whole valleys its beautiful to take pictures from there. Learn more about this land: Guest can pitch a tent or park RV within the campsite having access to own picnic table and fire pit. The Campsite is 10-15 mins to the Valley View of the Famous Monuments and close to Navajo Tribal Park. Access to Restroom (Outhouse) within the site. Guest can request Navajo Taco Dinner with Navajo Tea for extra cost to enlighten their stay here in Beautiful Monument Valley. Guest can bring pets as well. We are pet friendly and have one well behaved dogs name spike and diamond. Also we rv size will be 25 ft long .. 30 ft. Long is going to button out on the cattle guard. We don't have hookup.Guest can pitch a tent or park RV within the campsite having access to own picnic table and fire pit. Great, nicest folks .this is " rustic"...if you want all amenities go to a hotel. This place is fantastic. The setting is amazing. There are dogs that live here,so be forewarned. Dogs just added to the experience was very hard leaving here,after 2 nites. ....and,2 days of "looking after" RUSTY the beautiful young puppy, so loving,and,so gentle, and so hard to say goodbye. A great family live here and it was great to meet them all..a real honor. Great shower and the outhouses,were cery clean. I would love to stay here,again.

Great spot about 3/4 mile or so to the entrance of Monument Valley. Primitive but quaint and well maintained. Has a fabulous private trail to the edge of the valley.

The outhouse was very clean and was always supplied with tp and hand sanitizer. There is a nice shade structure and sites were pretty well spaced.. it is really dusty and I would not like it there if windy. Also several loose dogs roaming the campsite but they didn’t cause any problems. Very convenient to the tribal park and also a walk with a gorgeous view right from the campsite.

Well run spot with amazing views. Probably not ideal for the largest rigs, but it was easy with our 22' travel trailer.

I was there 2 days while visiting Monument Valley Tribal Park. There were numerous spots rather than one or 2 like many Hip Camps. So it felt like an RV park when everyone pulled in. But the views were beautiful, and the proximity to the Park understandably drew a higher price. Not sure I’d stay again.

The campsite was okay. There was no signage on the gate to explain where to park and very little information online. We knocked on the door and asked a teenager what to do and he explained somewhat. This is someone’s home with campsites in their backyard, similar to a personal harvest host. The views however are spectacular and the location is great!

Great little campsite away from the hustle bustle of sedona. But close enough to get there with minimal traffic. Close to downtown cottonwood, which has several fun little places for food and beverage.

The views are stunning and all of the dogs were friendly and sweet. The campsite is practically within walking distance from the entrance to the park. I got to experience a lunar eclipse at this campsite and it was magical.

My stay was awesome! I pull a 21ft travel trailer and had no problem accessing Hummingbird Campsite. Brian and Alberta were very nice hosts. Checked on me and when I did have questions Brian returned my messages quickly and efficiently. He even suggested a person for a tour of Monument Valley. The property is amazing, gorgeous sunsets and sunrises. My camper runs off solar and I had full sun the whole time I was there. They provide a picnic table with shade and a firepit. Vault toilets and a shower house. Sand and dirt road to get there off the main road, but we'll traversed and I had no problems. Campsite is conveniently located near tribal center, 5 minutes max to get there.

Excellent views of all Monument Valley has to offer, and close to all activities. Brian is a great host who meets with you as you drive in. Clean outhouses and level sites with picnic tables and fire pits. Will stay with Brian again!

Hummingbird campground is easy to find, and is in a great location just outside of Monument Valley. Brian's land includes a covered area, fire pit, and out house. We also enjoyed the WIFI network.

Sites are well marked and distant enough. Hosts are wonderful, and have advice for nearby things to see, including a trail leading toward the nearby rocks. Night sky is amazing! Roof of shelter has a place you can hang a lamp if you'd like. Highly recommended!

I love this campsite! This is my second time here! I will be coming back again! Brian is awesome is very hospitable! His has firewood for sell. You’re 2 minutes from the entrance to the park. The campsite is always clean. Clean out house and showers. I will be back for sure. If you’re looking for tent camping this is the spot! Highly recommend and great veiws! There are neighbor dogs that are too cute! You can bring your dog too! I saw the northern lights my last night there!

Great spot to stay! Brian was very hospitable and had a great setup. They provide clean bathrooms (pit style outhouse) and a hot, clean shower. Also enjoyed the Navajo tacos prepared by his wife. Highly recommend! The location is perfect if you want to visit Monument Valley, as it is very close to the Tribal Park entrance. There is a nice 20ish minute hike from Brian’s place that leads up a hill and provides a great place to watch sunrise or sunset. Just stayed one night but it was just what we needed.

Brian and his wife were very friendly. Very close to Monument Valley, with a nice view and fabulous starry skies. The site was clean and it was nice that picnic tables are provided with a little cover over them.

Friendly hosts, great directions it was very easy to find. We forgot which site we had selected, but they were quick to respond and help. We enjoyed our site, the views were amazing! I hiked the trail to the overlook twice! So pretty! We slept so good it was very peaceful and quiet. Would recommend!

Overall a good experience. A few things would make it better like emptying the trash. The two trash cans they have were overflowing and crowd were picking at it and spreading trash everywhere. There is zero light in the out house. Maybe they should put a vault toilet in rather than just digging a hole in the ground that can’t be cleaned out

We enjoyed our car camping stay here. It was easy to find and super close to Monument Valley park. The short hike to the mittens overlook was really great and I enjoyed watching sunset there. It was also nice to take a hot shower after my hike.

Super easy to find and conveniently located right down from the Navajo visitor center and scenic drive. I enjoyed the hike to view the iconic Mittens. Our hosts were friendly and welcoming. The Navajo Tea was delicious! Bonus: Stunning sunset and sweet dog visits!
