The main road inside monument valley was washed out but the stunning vistas around Celia's were incredible. I had the best nights sleep of my trip thus far.

We were sorry to arrive late in the evening and find everything dark and not be able to understand thanks to the location of the campsite despite the kind girls having explained everything to us.
But waking up in the morning was spectacular, the field was beautiful and let's not talk about the view.

Amazing views. Gracious host and late night fresh fry bread. Motorcycles beware. Sandy road to get into camp. Besides that it was perfect.
Great place and great host. Highly recommend.
They have a shower, a restroom, and 2 gorgeous horses!
Decent campground close to Monument Valley. Hosts were very friendly on arrival. Nice tables under shade which were welcome in the hot weather. Very quiet and great for stargazing. Toilets are pretty basic outhouses but otherwise the perfect spot
Pros: Celia and her husband are extremely nice people and good hosts. Also the locations views are amazing. I loved the trail from their property to a nearby vista. Campsite had an amazing lizard resident that ate flies and ants. Celia's dogs and pig were extremely cute and sweet.
Cons: There are many free roaming neighborhood dogs. The host's dogs were very tame and friendly, and well contained near their house. However, a dog that did not belong to them entered the camping area, bothering us while we were eating dinner. The dog left around 10 pm and returned in the middle of the night to bark relentlessly at us while we were trying to sleep in the tent. There was also a spotlight repeatedly triggered by this terrible pest dog.

We enjoyed our 16 or so Hour stay in site #6, looked to be the biggest to accomodate our trailer (34') . They offered us water for a small fee to fill the whole trailer and we ran generator to beat some of the heat and charge up. Plenty of dogs and horses around to enjoy and fantastic scenery every way you turn. Easy access to the sites in Monument Valley, etc. The unpaved road in will require being alert and prepared depending on how big you are pulling in.

The views were incredible. Once in a lifetime opportunity. Obviously it is basic, but that’s the beauty of it. Very much recommend - extremely near Monument Valley entrance (and get very similar views from the campsite).

I really liked the fact that from the campsite you can walk directly to the monument valley lookout which is amazing so you can save the 10 dollars entrance ticket to the park. The sunset and the sunrise are stunning. The campsite is very very basic, no water, no trash and the toilets are super basic, so much so I did not want to use them

It was a really amazing place to see the views!
It's really close to the monuments and it will take to Monument Valley visiter center about 10 minutes, so it's good to access!
This was my very first camping experience, and it exceeded every expectation I had. The views were absolutely incredible from every angle—whether it was the stunning red rock formations during the day or the breathtaking night sky after sunset.
Cielia and her family were so welcoming, kind, and friendly that they immediately made us feel at home. Their hospitality truly made the experience even more special.
One of my favorite moments was sitting under the stars at night. Seeing the sky filled with countless stars above the red rocks was something I’ll never forget. It was peaceful, beautiful, and honestly one of the most breathtaking sights I’ve ever seen.
If you’re looking for a place with amazing scenery, a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and unforgettable views both day and night, I can’t recommend it enough. My first camping trip turned into a memory I’ll cherish for years to come.

I loved the rustic feel of the campground and the horses. It was really nice to be able to walk from our campsite on a trail that overlooked the valley. We really enjoyed chatting with Steven about the area and the horses in the valley.

Beautiful place to camp.
Easy to organise a morning MV truck tour.
The Navajo tacos were awesome
The sunset view up on the hill above the campsite is jaw dropping.
Celia and family have a great location. You can even hike from the camping area to a lovely view of the valley. Will love to book again in the future. Such a special stay. Ahehee for sharing with us.
Great camp spots right next to Monument Valley. Very windy. Nice shade structures with picnic tables and fire pits. Outhouses are great and well managed. Only issue was finding the location after dark, but the host was gracious and answered my phone call to help me. I strongly suggest contacting the host for pictures or specific directions if arriving during night. There are other campers but the spots are spaced out and was never loud or cramped. Loved it and it beats the crowds of The View hotel area.
The best views hands down!! A super easy hike to see more of the monuments and super close to the monument valley visitors center where you can do the 17 mile loop drive which is also recommended with the right vehicle!
There was a coyote in camp a couple times but once they saw humans they ran! One of my favorite spots yet! Hope to come back one day!

The location is perfect for visiting Monument Valley. It was only a 10 minute drive to meet our tour guide, which I highly recommend Phillips Photography. We really enjoyed Celia’s dinner of Navajo Tacos. The view from the sites is amazing.
Beautiful spot near breathtaking views. Stephen is a kind soul and watching the dogs and horses interact was magical. Great place to stay for a few days while visiting the area. We have a 36 foot fifth wheel and cleared the cattle guard by a few inches on the way in. Anything smaller than that should be fine

Steven and Celia and family and horses are friendly.
Absolutely stunning place to camp! It’s not a camper parking lot along the interstate for sure. Be prepared for a little extra leveling of your camper, red sand, and various horses and dogs (all friendly) wandering through. The hosts are friendly and helpful.

This is a great spot! Quiet, safe, and great access to monument valley. The hosts are helpful and friendly.
The views from this place are outstanding!! Celia was so gracious in keeping me informed about our arrival and stay. Stephen came by later just to check on us. From my 10 minute conversation, I can easily say what a wonderful human being he is! Unfortunately I didn’t meet Celia, but can image the same as Stephen.
The spaces are close to each other, but because of the sun shades and table and chairs, they do t feel crowded. It also wasn’t full when we were there.
Beautiful! The monuments are right in front of you. The hosts were very nice. Would love to stay again.
Great peaceful place at the foot of Monument Valley. Family was friendly but not intrusive. Loved being near horses!

Picture don't the true character of the place. No water,no power outhouses (they could do a better job of keeping them order free ) I booked for 4 nights but could only stay one night had to use my generator to keep trailer warm. I understand but some improvement could be made. I wanted to like but just couldn't.
