Camp Saguaro is nestled in a unique and rural area on the west side of Tucson, Arizona. With the Saguaro National Park Visitor Center, Tucson Mountain Park, and Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum all within four miles, there is plenty of opportunity to explore the outdoors. Tucson Mountain Park and Saguaro National Park boast hundreds of miles of hiking trails, and non-motorized mountain bikes are permitted on the trails in Tucson Mountain Park. Let us be your base camp for desert exploration whether it's hiking, riding, birdwatching, and learning. Come to Camp Saguaro and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the desert. What to expect: We are in a rural neighborhood where most parcels are 1-3 acres, we have seven acres. It's quiet around here but along with the natural sounds of the desert like yipping coyotes, and woodpeckers pecking, you may hear a horse, dog, or chicken. While we are on the outskirts of Tucson, we are not completely remote. We have carved our sites out of the natural layout of the desert. There are many kinds of cactus in our area in addition to the magnificent Saguaro, and uneven areas when walking. We keep it as natural as possible. We have a small "Mercantile" on property. This is our office, but we also have items you may have forgotten, and souvenirs made by local artists. Also available is firewood, and ice is for sale for your convenience. We have a small Laundry Shack (two washers, two dryers). You'll need cash for these things, we do not take any other form of payment at this time. Camp Saguaro is tobacco-free. We offer a few sites with power and decks, 1 site with power access and gravel that is good for small trailers (no septic). we have plenty of tent and van spots around the property that are good for tents in the fields or to pull up a van and crash. Regardless of site you book, we will have space with views for everyone. The pictures are from around the property so book Mountain View 4-9 for up front closer to highway or Outback Desert garden mountain view 1-5 for outback away from the road. We are located in Cane Beds, AZ (2 miles from Utah) in the middle of a beautiful desert and sandstone rock countryside. Chill out in our glamp ground with fellow adventure lovers and nomads. Head to Zion through the secret locals cut through. (40 mins to Springdale and epic views). We offer one of the coolest, safest, cleanest and most popular boutique campgrounds in the region. LGBTQ, BIPOC, Woman and family friendly! YES, We are dog friendly. PLEASE ADD YOUR 4 LEGGED FRIEND ON TO RESERVATION. We charge a $15 fee for doggies. This helps us clean up the campsite from dog wear and tear (hole digging, peeing on things, picking up doo doo, washing linens, etc). We are woman owned and woman friendly and offer a safe space to gather with amazing folks! We have fun spaces for kids to play in too. Please monitor kids if they are on the climbing wall. NO KIDS ON THE ROOF OF THE PLAY AREA past the climbing walll!! They are climbing at their own risk. Also note there are nails and cactus and things around the property that could harm a child if not paying attention. Please ask your kids and wear proper footwear at all times. We offer 3 water and power hook ups that are ideal for vans or small trailers. WE DO NOT HAVE A SEPTIC DUMP on site but one close by that is free at Bee's market. We have shade structures, a BBQ area, a propane firepit (no wood fires in summer please! too dry). Great restaurant and food options nearby. No need to bring anything. Grocery store down the street with everything. Fresh local veggies, fruits, eggs and more in season. Saturday market seasonally also nearby. We have a hot tub!!!! $5 per use per person. MUST RESERVE THERE IS A BOARD AT THE TUB TO WRITE NAME ON. 30 minutes please so that others have a chance to tub too! Propane is a $5 per use additional fee daily if you want to use the gas firepit or the BBQ. Hot tub is $5 per person per use. We purchased the property from a family down the road and they have helped us develop out the piece we have. Currently we park a trailer on it that we rent out, plus we have 1 glamp tent, 1 little cabin, 1 camping platform and a few areas for tents and vanlifers to pull up! We have a group site with it's own kitchen/BBQ area. There's a bath house with 2 flushing toilets an outhouse and an outdoor heated shower. We also have a great outdoor kitchen with everything you need to cook a great meal! Stove, pots and pans, dishes, etc! LOCATION is close to everything! Up to 24-26 feet vans and skoolies. Inquire if your rig is bigger. DOG OWNERS THIS IS IMPORTANT!!! If you have a dog we ask that you please keep it leashed and near you at all times. If there are other dogs on the property you will need to leash up dogs. Also, please walk the property and pick up poop!!! We ask for a fee for dogs. This can be found in EXTRAS or pay on site. Please respect that we increase prices for more people in your group as this has impact on our space. We allow 2 per site and then additional fee for up to 2 more people. Humming Bird Campsite

First day of my campsite I start with 2 campsites then I built 1 more campsite. I then made fire pit an after that I built an outhouse its a restroom so of the guest don't know what an outhouse is we tell them it doesn't take no water to flush. After that I built a wooden fence around the whole campsite from horses a cows get into our property. So that how I started a campsite. Now our guests love our campsite a some of them came back an we have a short hiking trail to the rims to overlook the whole valleys its beautiful to take pictures from there. Learn more about this land: Guest can pitch a tent or park RV within the campsite having access to own picnic table and fire pit. The Campsite is 10-15 mins to the Valley View of the Famous Monuments and close to Navajo Tribal Park. Access to Restroom (Outhouse) within the site. Guest can request Navajo Taco Dinner with Navajo Tea for extra cost to enlighten their stay here in Beautiful Monument Valley. Guest can bring pets as well. We are pet friendly and have two well behaved dogs name spike and diamond. Also we rv size will be 25 ft long .. 30 ft. Long is going to button out on the cattle guard.
