Perfect place for a trip to Sedona! We parked our 33’ fifth wheel in the Rio spot. Walking trails start right at the house and a new swimming pool was completed during our visit. We found it very convenient… just 7-10 minutes to Sedona and felt like we were miles away in a secluded and beautiful setting. Mary was very helpful with suggestions and answering questions.

I really appreciate that this site is offered at a price that is fair for what is offered, especially in Sedona. And it looks like the owners have made an effort. But the sewage dump is so far away that I could not use it. The site is not level. And the road getting there is rough. But it is acceptable, given the location and the price.
That’s a perfect spot near of Sedona center but just as far to be cozy and quiet.
Mary answered quickly to our request even if we were at last minute to reserve.
A nice spot only 10 minutes from Sedona. Mary was very welcoming, and provided us with not only water and electricity hookups, but also a convenient waste dump. We felt like it was a good bargain. Thank you Mary and partner.

Super interesting place, seemed quiet, wonderful funky vibe. Alas, it was too funky for my partner so we didn’t stay.
Quiet and peaceful site. Coconino National Forest is located right behind the property and the hosts let you hike in that area so this is a great location to camp and explore Sedona!
Site is mostly level. We had to put few leveling blocks on one side, but that is more for my husband’s comfort than most folks would need to do. Bonus – they have leveling blocks there in case you forget yours!
Hook ups were easy but the sewer connect is far away. But again, the host realized that and have extended hoses there for you to connect.
Your site is next to a dirt road but the host put up dust blockers on the fence so you won’t feel like you are in a dust storm.
Our host checked in with us during our stay to make sure we were comfortable. We would stay here again!

Great quiet space for our RV. The grounds are well maintained and clean. It is a very quiet area nestled at the back of a subdivision. Communication with Mary was easy and we enjoyed watching the bunnies with our morning coffee.
We liked staying at Red Rock Horse property. It was convenient to Sedona and peaceful for sleeping in our van. It was a little too expensive though as there is nothing to do or see or nice walking but when you can’t get into Rancho Sedona RV Park it’s a nice alternative.

Mary was a great host and the “Rio” RV site was perfect for our needs with water and electric hook up. It’s a very peaceful area and was a great way for us to officially break in our new Sprinter van camper. It is a short drive into Sedona and yet the site offered a quiet evening camping experience just outside Sedona.
The location is great. We were alone on the property, that was nice. Our dog could run free so he was very happy.
Mary Anne and Greg were accommodating, friendly and flexible. We were the first guests with horses. Mary Anne asked how she could make the horse camping better and seemed responsive to my suggestions. Greg fixed a corral fence as soon as I brought it to his attention. We are grateful that Mary Anne and Greg open their property to camping; especially with horses and in Sedona where camping options are more limited due to city codes. The hiking/riding trail from the property is a real bonus. The turn out corral is great. They allow well behaved dogs too.
The only downside is the camping atmosphere is not like many traditional campgrounds. However, the setting is better than most fairgrounds where horse campers often resort to. It is quiet and provides great star gazing.
One service that would be nice to add (we did not ask), is garbage disposal. I can see how some campers might take advantage of this service however.
All in all a good place to hang your hat with very nice hosts to boot!

I stayed 2 weeks in March and 2 weeks in April and it was awesome. We have 22 ft travel trailer and we loved the accommodations. Lots of trails to explore, great views and such an easy trip into town.

Beautiful, peaceful, safe spot with great hiking trails right out the backyard! Stayed here a couple of times, and would absolutely stay here again! So close to everything in Sedona, but feels a million miles away.

Mary was fabulous and the location was away from the crowds and very quiet. Was welcomed to fire pit each night and shared drinks as well. Highly recommend and will be a frequent visitor!!

We loved RV camping at Rio’s site! Although a little bumpy road to get there, they are under beautiful skies full of stars on level ground with full hook ups! It was a very private and secluded spot just minutes away from downtown Sedona. We recommend and we’ll be back!
